I walked into That Little Red House for the first time in August and wow....what a total treat! My sister and I have been knitting for 50 + years and we found treasures we have never seen before.There is a huge variety of unique yarns and completed samples all around; it is a bit hard to focus. It is a small shop but well organized and the owner knows her wares. I found some plum roving softer than anything I had felt before and it has become a cowl and headband. There were magnificent variegated yarns with a beautiful cape/shawl sample. It is now halfway knitted up in my lap; the owner knew exactly what the name of the pattern was on Ravelry and found it for me.This is not Joann's or Hobby Lobby, it is knitting nirvana. Have fun!

Edit: I saw another recent review that this shop has reopened! Went on a the first Saturday in August and there were rooms filled with yarn, lots to choose from! I also noticed there was a nice selection of notions behind the counter as well, some shawl pins kept catching my eye! Lovely little shop and the owner was sweet to chat with.I believe this shop might be at least temporarily if not permanently closed. Tried to go during Saturday hours Memorial Day weekend and bumped into a neighbor who indicated the shop hadn’t been open during the pandemic. There was still a yarn sign in the front yard, but no signs on the front door and a package on the porch the neighbor indicated was there since the prior day.

Very friendly & wonderful selection of yarns of all types for all sorts of projects. When you walk in it’s at first a bit overwhelming with all the colors & textures but very warm & cheerful too. If you love to knit or crochet this is the place for you!

Great yarn shop! There’s a ton of really nice yarn, I had a hard time choosing. My son asked for a fluffy skein for his toy snake and she gave it to him for free!

Every time I stop by to get some yarn and checkout this yarn shop it is closed even though the it says it is open according to their hours on the internet. There is no hours posted on the door.

I have tried three times to visit this shop, and I'm not going to try anymore. It is never open, even when the listed hours say it is. It's a shame because through the window it looks like a nice selection.

Sadly, although looks like a cute shop, check hours and drove 2 hrs up from Duluth to go and they were closed. Even though Google shows they were open. Very sad. Please update hours.

I’ve stopped at this shop twice. The first time the door was open but no one was there. The second time, the “Open” sign was on but the door was locked. The hours on Google said it should have been open. I was disappointed not to be able to shop here.
