We went in for a ginger cookie but left with oatmeal because the ginger was out. I guess 5:00 pm is too late for most of their prepared stuff? It’s ok. The cookie was delicious.

Ceiliac friendly: Lots of healthy options for travelers & locals. Gifts & soaps, supplements, food & bulk food bins as well. Quick grabs for those in need of a quick meal, or you can fill your fridge! Great location, clean & friendly staff. I enjoy Grand Marais, and will be coming back, so always good to have a go-to grocery store that has foods helpful to gluten free, ceiliac, dairy free and sugar free customers.

It is the cutest organic food store around. They have a wide variety of items for those that want to eat clean or have allergies. The store was very organized and reasonably priced. I love the Grand Marais offers this to the residents and guests.

I love getting my spices here. They are always fresh. Did I mention they make the best soup and sandwiches. One more thing I appreciate is the store is always clean. Stop in for a personal visit and find your own experience.

Zipped in for the first time; the store had a good little selection. The teller was pretty rude: I would still go back if passing thru town, if but I would avoid that employee.

Way over priced. When I think of America, I think of price gouging. There was a big thing of salt in there for $2 and the rest was something like 5+ for very small containers of seasoning. I truly wonder how much food and products these places throw away. The prices in here don’t make sense.

This was an amazing resource for fresh ingredients before heading back south to camp. Prices might shock some, but it is worth the markup for delicious fresh things. You can also find simple meal items here, like ramen bowls and rice packs, if you need boilable options.

Clean and always stocked, has specialty items you can't find elsewhere and great produce. Some things are a little spendy, but some bulk items are cheaper than what you can find at other grocery stores in town.

A very plesent grocery store with a variety of choices even with it's small size. I was very impressed by the produce, as I purchased a load of fresh fruit. It's location is also very pleasing, with it being in the wonderful town of grand Marais. It is a perfect example of a small town grocery store, and provides both residents and tourists with a great opportunity to shop. Overall I would highly recommend shopping here if you have the chance, or if you just need a few items in grand Marais.

My fiance loves going to co-ops and whole foods stores. This place was absolutely amazing! For such a small town, they had everything you could have asked for. From fresh fruit, to ice cream, to soup and sandwiches, it is a one stop shop when in the area. They have awesome desserts in their refrigerator section that I would highly recommend. Definitely get the carrot cake.

Fresh fruit sample often available just inside the door. A wide selection of quality products, the price can be a but steep but you pay for what you get. Lots of alternate-diet options available. Nice atmosphere, interior well designed. Some freshly prepared and store-made food available also, and an eating area. Coffee in s pot is also available for a good price.

Great stop for stocking up before our time in and Airbnb farther north in the woods. Great selection. Very fresh. We appreciated the attention to masking and distancing too. We will be back whenever we're up that way!

Pretty nice typical coop. I do not recommend the hot chicken sandwich at the little deli area. It was kind of like a microwaved chix patty between 2 pieces of cardboard. Go with the hot ham and cheese, much better choice.

Great little store with nice products however probably re-evaluate who you put at the front is the store as they are very first person to interact with people. I understand why the rules that are in place are there but we were treated poorly and I was rudely told “take a number because that’s that’s why we are doing all this.” I was super uncomfortable the rest of the time in there and honestly just wanted to leave and probably should have. It’s not the customers fault just as it’s not the businesses fault that all of this is going on but it’s no reason to treat people terribly.

There was a man at the door making sure that my husband and I do not come in the store together. I’m pregnant and we just needed a few things for dinner, but we wanted to see what they had first. We weren’t going in to spread our germs or loiter. I feel more comfortable with my husband there and not to be by myself. We probably would have taken 20 minutes tops and spent about $20-30, but we decided to go somewhere where we could look at items together.

Great spot for those who are seasonal visitors or who are camping/ hiking the region and don’t want to sacrifice nutrition for bar food. They have the same great products as many of the Twin Cities Co Ops do but they also offer a few food specialties that are always worth checking out.

Great natural foods coop that has been improving and expanding for years. Clean and organized new building with friendly and helpful staff. Try the fresh and locally made granola, some of the best you can find!

Great corporate style co-op for such a small town. Has almost everything a store in a larger town has except a butcher. Fresh local produce and dairy and all sorts of specialty foods. Great bulk section. Prices are same for non-members so don't hesitate to go!

This is a lovely Co-op! However I have never been so humiliated as I was yesterday when I had to explain to a older cashier that I could not hear her because I am deaf and hard of hearing. She responded by rolling her eyes. I called my daughter over (she was in the other line) to translate for me. As my daughter explained to her that I was deaf and hard of hearing, she rolled her eyes again. This time my daughter witnessed this as well. I am an RN. It has been so difficult for me because of the mask wearing and I read lips. Yet I still provide nursing care to COVID-19 patients putting my family and myself at risk. The world needs better people.

The co-op has great choices of items on the shelves and quality ready-to-eat food. We bought crusty bread, ginger ale, black tea, spinach salad, and vegetarian Morroccan stew to enjoy in our room overlooking Lake Superior. Would have given the co-op five stars but it was a bit pricey, especially for the ginger ale which came in a lovely bottle but for $5.99 the soda itself was very bland. The co-op gets 5 stars for convenience as to get there we just walked across the parking lot from the Best Western hotel.

The Co-op has a compact fresh fruit & vegetable department with many organics. The bulk section carries grains, snacks, ingredients for baking, teas, & some treats. They carry a nice selection of foods as well as fresh sandwiches, salads & soups in their deli section. The store has a refrigerated & frozen section with some novelty non-dairy frozen treats. The shop has an assortment of supplements & personal care products. They also have knowledgeable staff to advise about a variety of ailments as well as reference guides for homeopathic remedies.

A lovely co-op and a total gem of a place. Produce is fresh, there's a good selection of items, and prices seem in line with the larger co-ops in the state. Plus the staff and other customers seemed very friendly. Will definitely come back next time i am in Grand Marais.
