Cute little ma & pa restaurant. We obviously came here for a breakfast/late lunch. The space is small but cozy. We got all our food fast, fresh and really enjoyed our food. Service was good. Location is excellent. I ordered a breakfast #1, white toast, eggs, hash browns w/onions & cheese, it was delicious! My fiancé ordered the Mexi Scrambler and really enjoyed that as well as the cinnamon roll. We each added a pancake for $1 and it was yummy!!! Highly recommend a yummy home cooked meal.

Authentic Swedish Pancakes! Definitely has a timeless cafe style dining experience - none of the modern hipster garbage.Excellent service, incredible food and great coffee with a classic Grand Marais atmosphere & friendly waiters. The food was delicious and the wait wasn’t long even though the restaurant was full. The chocolate chip pancakes were also phenomenal. My coffee was always topped off right away.We had two others join us after we already had been served our food. The staff was very accommodating. They had the walleye breakfast and it looked delicious.Kid-friendliness: Lots to look at and quick food.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible but not a ton of room with tables being very close together. I would call ahead.

It was an alright cafe with a cozy interior for small tables.I liked my food but everyone else I was with was disappointed so I am rating with how they felt as well.BUT I had the Swedish pancake with lingon berries and I enjoyed it a lot. If you go here I would recommend getting that. You will likely have to wait in line to get here if you go at a popular up north time like labor day weekend

This little hometown Cafe was the best I've had in a really long time. My daughter and I had a terrific breakfast here. If you are in the area stop in and check them out. You might have to wait a little bit but they let you order while your waiting which was nice. The wait staff was terrific and all the food came as ordered. Check out those biscuits and gravey! Absolutely terrific!

After years of visiting Grand Marais this was my first visit, for lunch. I am a fried chicken fanatic, and they're broasted chicken was phenomenal as was the gravy on the home sale mashed potatoes. The iceberg lettuce garnish could have been saved.Parking: I was there on a Tuesday, somewhat off season, late fall, so parking was easy. Even in busy times, there are plenty of parking in free Lots a short walk away

Great, fast service. Nice staff. The #101 (just for fun) plate left my boyfriend fat and happy happy for the rest of the morning. My eggs Benedict was 👌🏽.

Good food at a decent price. Fries are great but portions of meat (I had fish wife had chicken) were small with more fries than I could eat. Staff was very attentive even during the packed house of the Fisherman's Picnic weekend.

Got in right after opening and glad we did because it filled up fast. No muss no fuss diner style breakfast. Unique menu options (top was the 'Just for Fun' which is a traditional egg sandwich but with a cinnamon roll for the bun! And bottom was the 'Tent Warner' omelette). Kept us full for a 5 mile hike we went on that day. Prices were very reasonable.A must go if you need a breakfast spot.

Great find at Grand Marais. They have gluten free options and gluten free bread. Staff was very friendly. People are coming in and out all the time. This must be a popular place where locals meet daily for coffee and chat. Food was delicious and they have a gluten free lava cake that I ought to try next time. The food has a fair price and you are well served.

Food was kind of bland. The fish had no seasoning on it besides some pepper. The fried walleye was okay. The salad was okay as well. Service was good.

Just walked in off the street and had the all you can eat Walleye. The not so good was that the soup that I opted to come with it was not so good and pie after was so-so. But, the Walleye was excellent and I would recommend it to others. Staff was friendly as well.

Very delicious breakfast food! Also very well priced! I enjoyed that they had a take-out option, as well, since I could then eat on the beach with my dog. This place also has a really nice online ordering system that made it very easy to order ahead!

Stopped here for breakfast. Service was awesome, the restaurant is clean & the wild rice French toast is out of this world. Best part is your coffee cup is never emptyThanks to all those servers & cooks for a great breakfast after coming off the trail for 2 days

Visited for brunch! We had to wait a bit after checking in to get seated (about 25 minutes) but we just visited other local shops and stores in the meantime and they called when a table opened up. There is limited indoor seating due to COVID-19 restrictions. Coffee was good. I had a western omelet and pancake, husband had chicken strips and fries, all food was very tasty. Service was average. We would go again! You could also take food to go and eat it by the shore.

I've been in here a few times now and can say it is a neat little small town cafe. It's in a good location right by the lake. Great place to get a hearty breakfast. The Eggs Benedict is delicious. Unfortunately last time I was in, I found a hair in my eggs. The staff is okay. Not overly friendly and has forgotten things I've ordered multiple times now. Still I love the food and the atmosphere and will give it another chance.

This was our first experience for lunch. I had the roast beef sandwich which was very tender. My wife had the fish and chips. The best part were the pies. Crumbles Berry and to my surprise a very delicious Key Lime. The pies are made fresh daily.
