You will save a lot of money by just driving to Alexandria. Every item in the store cost twice as much as Walmart. The diner inside is nice and great food. I eat there but do not shop for groceries there anymore as their prices are completely ridiculous.

I'd be a better place if they allowed the 14 year Olds to work and not be such jerks about when they turn in there resumes I mean Seriously my son couldn't get a job there they just ignored his resume

Rudest employees, especially the ones working in deli. They will stand and carry on conversation and ignore people waiting to buy a meal or whatever. The chicken is really good otherwise wouldn’t go in there.

Helpful staff. I love the self checkout lane when I have a few things. They're always pleasant and ready to help me when I have a cashier help me check out my cart full. It's great having a local place to get groceries and more.The lunch and breakfast specials are affordable and satisfying.

Well I've never shopped here but I get great coupons. It's a bit to far for groceries in the winter. ALTHOUGH they have an awesome old fashioned food grill for breakfast, lunch, and dinner items. Grilled to order, way decently priced, taste great. You can dine in or take out. Menu options are many, service is good, time waiting is minimal. Love the old fashioned cheeseburger and fries.

Nice hometown store.Prices are comparable with Cub.I like their Coke special, deli foods and they always have a aisle with really hot deals.I like supporting local business and MN branded products.All products have gone in price over, nothing we can do, thanks to covid.

Nice neighborhood grocery store.Employees very friendly. There's a couple things they don't carry that I can buy down in the Cities but that's okay. Prices are average. Some things more expensive than like Cub but some things are cheaper too. They also have a nice little deli area where you can have breakfast or lunch. Good food.

I have a LOVE/HATE relationship with this grocery store. I LOVE the staff, the quality of the deli/restaurant food, and that there is a wide variety of food options. But I HATE the high prices, the MOLDY fruit, and that they try to sell WAY OUTDATED food at OUTRAGEOUS PRICES! Seriously, BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR "FRESH" FRUIT and VEGGIES THOROUGHLY BEFORE BUYING!!! Or you may end up bringing home something that is half rotten or has mold on it... And there is NOTHING good about that! I realize this is a small town grocery store that needs to jack up their prices somewhat BUT I think it's a little overboard at this store- ESPECIALLY the prices on the rotten and outdated items ("reduced for quick sale")!

Ordered Chester's Chicken for Father's Day. As always, on point! Hot and delicious.Pleasantly surprised at the variety of product available for a small town grocery.The only critique I have is that the only ready made teas they have seemed to be diet.

Really good grocery store! Always looks very clean and organized. Staff seems very friendly to customers. Always looks full with product and everything I have gone there to look for was priced and was clearly seen. The deli looks very kept up and always seems busy. Definitely would recommend this store to people coming thru to get something from them.

We've been cabin owners here for over 30 yrs. Tom's is our favorite place to shop for groceries in town. We've always believed in supporting our local merchants and Tom's is our favorite place. The fried chicken legs are the best.

Love their deli specials and most prices on grocery items are very reasonable. Their reduced for quick sale section is a joke however as the prices are not reduced enuf and most items are out dated beyond what wud normally be safe to eat. Staff is great, convenient location and good selection tho.

We ate breakfast there which was fast. The worker looked crabby however, they could have been short staffed as it was busy. We then got groceries and the checkers were very friendly.

I like to support small town stores, but my wallet requires going to Alex for better deals. Toms also has a history of not automatically ringing up advertised sales - I have repeatedly learned the hard way to watch carefully when being run up and have wasted long periods of time waiting for an employee in the back to confirm a price for the cashier. The store is generally clean, and the cafe area is nice.

What we HAVE to use the self check-out when paying cash and card?! At least that is what I was told at the counter. If I get Walmart service I expect Walmart prices! That used to be the main reason to come to a small town store is the great service. Ok on further review I guess they aren't that bad, and it is understandable with lack of help these days. They still try and give you great service.

It was the only place open at 9:30 pm in this town and they had what I needed. If you are in the area camping, fishing or anything and you want to eat something healthy, this is pretty much the only place where you can shop and put some healthy food together.

On the expensive side. Had trouble with my gift cards and wanted me to pay and they would call me when they found it in the system and come back... I drove 45 minutes to get there to use my $50 in gift cards. I wasn't going to come back so I waited for them to find my card in the system. There has to be a better system for them. Sounded like the gift card issue happens alot.

We were in this store and my husband accidentally made quite a mess. A handle on the case of soda broke and several cans of soda burst. The clerk and carry out boy were so understanding and kind. They repeatedly said that we shouldn't worry about the mess.They were very quick to say that it wasn't my husband's fault and wished us a good weekend. Very good choice of employees!

The cashier was extremely rude. She never said good morning or even just the word morning, she never said thank you. She said about eight words to me $ 17.16, which was my bill and then $ 2.84 is your change. She then backed off as I was getting my two bags which I took my time because I wanted to see if she was going to say thank you and she did not say thank you and started looking at a magazine. This is happened to me before at the store but this morning was especially bad.

Great customer service. Friendly staff. Fresh produce and meat selections. Bakery and deli. I wish they carried a few more exotic items, yet in a rural community it is totally understandable that they don't.

Great staff and service was good. Not the best produce and the prices was high. but it's good enough for a small town like glenwood to have. Walmart is 13 miles to the north of this town.

Great independent grocery. It was my first trip and I was shocked at the clearance and sale prices. I'll be going that way more often rather than the 14 mile trip to Paynesville Teal's or the 21 miles to Sauk Centre Wal-Mart. Thanks Tom's!

Small town grocery store so prices are a bit high. Some items on sale from time to time. Deli does have some decent food and has a daily lunch special.
