My parents recently adopted two kittens from here and they are genuinely the most well-behaved cats of their age I have ever seen. They're incredibly friendly and gentle, and they're amazing with being handled. This shelter did an outstanding job at raising these cats and preparing them for their forever home!

Amazing staff and facility! These folks really care about the animals that come in. They go above and beyond to rescue and care for these animals, and they definitely run a tight ship. The environment is clean and welcoming. I love stopping by every once in awhile to visit the furry friends! I highly recommend ❤️

Id give no stars if I could. This place is ridiculous, adoption fees are outrageous considering the problem this town already has with stray cats and abandoned animals. But they charge around $200+ to adopt a cat. Not to mention the ppl working there are rude and will straight up lie to you . This place really should be investigated, how many animals do guys put down each year compared to the number of animals you actually find homes for? Cause I always see all the same sweet faces everytime I check your page.

There are so many stray animals in Glenwood and they are always full. Which I just found out why they are charging 250$ a kitten/puppy and 500$ for a cat/dog that is out outrageous price for an animal that is beyond the money they would need to care for an animal, and nite I know why they are always full and aren't getting rid of any animals so what are they doing with them? Just killing them? All they do is ask for donations and now I'm wondering how many of these shops donate to them and who all knows about the ridiculous price they are putting on just for a pet!!!! Any other website you look they talk about the friendly staff and pets this one talks about wanting donations right away!!!!!

They definitely care about animals. Highly recommend this place. Especially for the fact I had caught a stray and she was so scared, she found a home and now she has come out of her shell. They do whatever needs to be done to find a good home.

We are fostering 3 beautiful kittens which I have never done before. All of the workers truly love animals and make it so easy to foster. We were planning on adopting all 3, but that is up in the air at this moment. We lost our 3 beautiful feral kittens to a Fisher and have been broken hearted since this happened the end of Jan. I had never heard of fishers before, but have it all on camera from our garage cameras. I won't go into details. . We will definitely donate to this humane society whatever we decide to do. It was very clean and everyone is so nice. Hopefully all works out.

Recently adopted a kitten and was very pleased with their shelter, staff and communication leading up to the day of adoption. Due to Covid, adoption process a bit different but pleased to see safety being practiced, which the shelter was very much doing to keep everyone safe. Highly recommend.

Close before 12 so if you want to try finding your dog make sure you get there before 10 or something like that we got there 30 minutes before they close and they where close doors were lock and they couldn't answer the phone and place look trashy
