DO NOT GO HERE. I was ripped of $220 for a “deposit.” I canceled early enough to give them a reasonable amount of time to return my money. They said that’s not how it works… I guess I only get my money back if the rooms get booked? What kind of business runs off the deposit money of others? They must be desperate! This place is trash. Go somewhere else!

Hunts is AWESOME. If you’re boating on Lake Minnewaska, you need to stop by here. From gas, beer and snacks to more heavy duty boating needs, Hunts has you covered. Neal and Jake are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They fixed a problem with our boat lift, then came out and towed our disabled boat, all over Labor Day weekend. I literally couldn’t enjoy boating without them!

We stay at Hunt's Resort most of the summer. Very clean cabins all with a great view of beautiful Lake Minnewaska.Great fishing. We catch fish all the time!Only a 15 minute drive to Alexandria if you want something to do on a rainy day.We've been enjoying Hunt's Resort for almost 20 years!

Stopped by Hunt's Resort to inquire about a boat rental. Asked the woman attendent about the boats and fishing pole rental. She was very unfriendly and we got the impression she didn't want to be bothered. I called the next day to reserve a platoon boat, the same woman answered the phone said she was in the cleaning mode - call back. Called back several times leaving messages. No return call. My husband called that evening and luckily a gentleman answered the phone and took our reservation. Thankfully the gentleman was there upon our arrival and his service was great.

Hunt’s does a great job!! Called them kind of last minute to get in this weekend with my family. They had a fish house and a cabin ready when I wanted it. Very accommodating. We had a blast and caught some fish too....Great job, we’ll be back!!

If I could give them negative stars I would. I had them repaint my dock panels but I came back this weekend to put the dock in and one panel that they supposedly fixed was a totally different shade from the other panels it was still dirty it and had paint flaking off so it obviously wasn’t serviced. On top of that it was bowed in the middle and had a huge dent on of the edges. We called them to ask about it and the guy on the phone told me to ask my neighbors about it because it was fine when they had it when the thing is obviously aged from the sun and weather and not fine at all. The rest of the dock looked great but he offered no real help or answer for the issue just tried to pass it off as a neighbor ran it over with something. Not great business.

Not as great as they make it seem. We stayed in cabin #2. It was filthy. They do not take time to clean. Dust, spiders, sand everywhere. Dirty dishes. The whole place smelt of mold walking in. The coffee machine was full of mold. Claims they have cable tv and a whirlpool tub- the tv did not work and the tub was gross. Clock on the wall didn’t work. Cabin #2 is not on the beach-the beach is off to the side in front of one of their other cabins. They also had big rodent traps everywhere in the cabin. Everything was pretty outdated and dirty. They should’ve honestly paid me for the cleaning that I did while we were there. You’re welcome Hunts.

Beautiful scenic place. Love the scenery when waking up in the morning to a beautiful sunrise over Lake Minnewaska and watching-listening to the wildlife nearby. I rather spend time outside than inside if your trying to use this place as a "getaway". :)

Just got dockside gas. The attendant did a great job and was friendly. Reasonable price for lake gas. Looks like a decent resort as well.
