Our dog Finn received the best possible care here yesterday. After an unfortunate injury, they were able to get Finn in to be seen and into surgery in the same day. I couldn’t be more appreciative of the great care she received. The staff was all very nice and supportive. Thank you!

I have taken my dog to a few vet clinics and this place is the only one that has handled my dog Roxy anxiety very well without needing to muzzle her. Even though my drive is now a little over 1 1/2 hours away since I moved, this is the only place I feel comfortable taking care of her. Also they were very quick to determine at her first appointment that Roxy has cancer. Thank you glencoe vet.

Glencoe Veterinary Clinic has been an excellent choice for taking care of my beloved cats. The staff is incredibly friendly and care deeply about my pets that I bring in. They are also very compassionate and caring in the time when you have to make a hard decision with the end of life care for your pet. The card received after I had my buddy Philip put to sleep showed how much they care about the pet parent relationships. Highly recommended.

This place scams people go to crow river vet in Hutchinson. You won't have to pay a $50 deposit to set up an appointment. They must be hurting for money to be doing that.

My precious pit bull received a diagnosis of cancer and 3 months to live from the U of MN veterinary hospital. Thanks to the efforts and more holistic approach of the staff at the Glencoe Veterinary clinic, he lived many happy years past those three months. Wouldn't bring my pets anywhere else!

I had both a good and not so good experience. Staff was amazing but they couldn't examine my dog and cat and I had brought them in as what I felt was an emergency. They were so kind to let me leave them their while I went to the ER myself. They also allowed me to keep my vehicle in the lot because it broke down as soon as I got there.

Sara was amazing!!! I was nervous about having to have my cat groomed again because of my first experience with another vet clinic where they shaved my cats whiskers off while she was sedated. I expressed my concerns to Sara and she was so understandable and reassured me that this wouldn't happen with her. I dropped my cat off at 7:30 and by noon she was all groomed, and the best part was they didn't even need to sedate her to shave her! I was so happy to hear that! I went and picked up my cat and she was so calm and relaxed. I was so happy and they weren't pushy about needing more testing or vaccinations like the other vet, the cost of my service was less than what I was originally quoted so that was also a plus. Thank you!

We brought our sick puppy to Glencoe Vet last week and we are so impressed at how every staff member was so wonderful at their job. Glencoe Vet put both us and our puppy at ease. They were caring, receptive and responsive. They asked for prior approval for all tests and procedures. Dr. Dahlke thoroughly explained all results and how the results related to our puppy’s symptoms. She encouraged us to ask questions and took time to answer them completely. We left with clear instructions on how to help our puppy at home, and of course, Glencoe Vet followed up with a phone call the next day. Thank you all for what you do !

Great place and you can tell they love and care for animals. The Vets are just awesome, they stayed in touch with every step of my cats vista throughout her surgery and after care. Which was turn out to be an emergency surgery I just add btw, well the place i had an appointment book for her 4 days out for what was the problem wouldn't she her. Bottom line I will forever and always be gr ed at to the Glencoe veterinary clinic and recommend them to everyone I know

Always provided quality care and very accommodating with fitting us in quickly as needed. Great selection of pet supplements. Staff very caring, they even sent a multi-month supply of my pet's prescription to my new home out-of-state after I moved. They were always very familiar with my pets and their needs, calling them by name. Also used this veterinary clinic for my horses at times over the past 30 years.

I was very impressed. Vet and vet tech were so nice and caring. Only issue would be is that, I would have liked the vet to do a full examination. But they were concerned with the problem at hand. Would definitely take my animals there again.

We've been going to Glencoe Vet since we moved into the area nearly 5 years ago. We take all 4 of our dogs and our 2 cats to them for their check ups and anything else they need. They used to be OK (get in, answer your question, get you out) but within the past year and a half, they have gone downhill fast! Now it feels like we're just a number, a "cash cow" so to speak.The straw that broke this camel's back happen today. We're looking at End of Life care for our senior dog, he's 13 and he's riddled with incurable cancer (TCC). We called them today to make plans but I'm an owner that wants to know everything. I've been in the veterinary field for most of my life and I think the fact that I know what questions to ask bothers them. The woman that answered the phone today was short, rude and insensitive to the stage that we're at with the planning stage.What brought be to tears is when I asked about cremation. I'm the kind of person that doesn't want to keep a body or ashes lying around. I feel that it's the memories and spirit that matters, not the outside, the shell.I asked her if they do it on site, she said "no, we have a guy that comes and picks up the bodies for an extra fee and then if you want the ashes back, it's another fee". Fair enough, I guess. Seems weird though, for dogs and cats.I ask "what does he do with the ashes if we don't want them back? See we want the best for him but we can't really handle bringing the body home from an emotional standpoint and he means so much to us that we want to make sure he's taken care of respectfully."Her exact response: "well that's really contradictory if you care so much about him! I don't know what he does with the remains."So to get this straight, I'm horrible for not wanting to keep my dog's body or ashes and expecting you to know how and what a service that you guys use to dispose of a loved family member you don't know what they do with said family member??That's beyond fishy to me and for that reason, and the fact that they can't even pretend to be compassionate in such a horrible time of an owner's life, we will be finding a new vet for our zoo.
