This store was an experience, let’s start with that. When I walked in, I was not greeted, let alone acknowledged. I was not asked a single time if I needed help finding anything etc . Even when I looked confused near the check out, neither of the two employees bothered to ask me if I needed help. While I was shopping by the nail area, they were just chilling, and having a conversation about pens. Meanwhile, multiple other customers including me, in the store shopping we’re not offered help or greeted. It’s just kind of sad to be honest. The storage self hat boxes, laying everywhere and stuff cluttering the isles. Meanwhile, as I stated, the employees were just sitting there talking not cleaning or again acknowledging the customers. It makes me wonder what exactly they are getting paid to do? At that point it would be better off having self check outs.

Holly is always so helpful in the store. I needed to look at some products that were on the top shelf, she went to get a step stool to help. Very kind and compassionate

I’ve been a couple times all times been it reeks of all hell, staff is sometimes friendly. Today a friend and I were bored and decided to roam around the store on behalf of buying baby wipes. After we made our purchase and had left the store a staff member had came out of the store and accused us both of stealing chargers or headphones of some sort. We declared we didn’t and he proceeded to ask again “are you lying to me”? As we again said no and walked inside. I don’t recommend at all and don’t go inside for more than a couple mins if that if you decide to you’ll prolly get accused of stealing!!! BIG NO!!!!

Cheap small selection of frozen food grocery along with inexpensive electronics and house hold items. It's not really name brand merchandise but when the wallet is feeling light and you need to stretch your money as long as possible its not a bad substitute.

The staff at Family Dollar in Glencoe are always so friendly and happy to help. Lucky to have Family Dollar in our town.

I needed to add money to a prepaid credit card. I went to 2 other places that the web site said could do it and they could not. I stop in there and bing bang boom done. Only took them 3 minutes.

Went to dollar general today at 3:30 pm ...there was 2 employee talking about four feet in front of me I lifted my 24 pack of water into my cart and one of the bottles started leaking all over me , my cart, the floor ...those 2 mangers/employees just talked with one another .......there is NO customer service any more it is so sad.......I still bought the few things I had in my cart . Just thought someone might want to know
