They had bigger selection than I expected and had all the ingredients for my city ham recipe. The staff clearly enjoy working there as well and the store was very well maintained all produce and veggies were fresh!

3 stars is just being niceClean and quiet. Great bakery and a small but okay meat department. As far as customer service goes, not the greatest. I get that they're not getting paid to be friendly but I don't think that they understand that they're not getting paid to make people feel unwelcomed either. Their prices are the highest in the area. Which is ironic for how well they don't pay their staff enough to be nice. Lol. But I'm just an opinion sharing my personal experience so I don't speak for everyone.

Most every thing we bought was very high. We bought bread, doughnuts,frozen ice cream cones and sausage biscuits. All were too stale to eat. Threw them all away. Don't go there.

It's a small town grocery store so prices are higher compared to Cub, Walmart, etc. I am happy to go here when I need just a few things. Employees have always been nice.

get the a new manager to do there job nothing is priced right wic stuff that is approved by wic will not process every time some brands of fruits and veggies do others fix upc codes don't price of products are 2x the price and that was before bidin now 3x

For a small grocery store, they have a good selection of things. Meat dept is top notch as is the bakery. Homemade bread is delicious. It's all I buy.

Bright clean well-kept place. Somewhat reminiscent of a small neighborhood grocery store where I grew up virtually every deed might be met there. Reasonably priced better than my local grocery store at any rate. Staff always pleasant and upbeat, again in contrast to my local grocery store. So this is why I drive the extra few miles, and I find it most worthwhile to do so.

Great customer service! During resurfacing of entry i had to use their service/secondary entrance and a clerk was waiting and opened the door for me and i was provided detailed directions on navigating thru the service area to the actual grocery store. I’m giving a 10 on Covid aware/respect for their cleanliness, the check out clerk washed down the grocery conveyor belt area where i put my items for her to ring up and as an immunocompromised person who covid would most definitely kill it was highly appreciated! Shelves were neat and clean and fully stocked and they are height friendly for those of us who aren’t 6’ tall👍🏼 Prices are as expected for a remote location in a teeny tiny town without even a stop light and the bakery bread was perfect! fresh and soft and a great price actually ! I definitely recommend this location for their covid awareness friendly helpful staff and excellent selection and fully stocked items.Thanks again for putting your customers including disabled ones at the forefront of your priorities!Also, a gentleman ran across the street when i parked to let me know i couldn’t use that entrance so i could park on the other street so it would be a lot closer walk to get to the secondary temporary entrance. This was above and beyond service level! Anywhere else they’d have just let people figure out how to get in on their own. Thanks again!!

Ran in there for some ribs as the crowd at the cabin grew. Always clean, great bakery and the reason for the five stars is they had fresh cherries for $4.99 a pound. They were higher than that at some of the grocery stores in the city and Cub, who had them on special for $4.99 a pound was out - what a find for me!

I always love going to this old time, small town grocery store. It has everything you need, and nothing you don't...the staff is always very welcoming, nice, and polite....and the only hassle is you typically have to give a "pardon me" to the two people being neighborly and having a nice conversation catching up in one of the aisles. It's like going into a time warp back to the 1950's in a very good way.

Wouldn't let me use the rest room as a paying customer. Not sure how legal that is. Prices are extremely high. Staff not friendly.

Garrison Family Foods has friendly and attentive staff. My favorites at this store are the meats and the bakery items. The meats are "a cut above the rest," even beating out some of the larger grocery stores in the area for freshness and quality cuts. The bakery always has delicious sweet breads and dinner breads that are baked on location.

Great Ma & Pa grocery operation. Not very big, but seems to have a little bit of everything. Needs a few more modern brand options like Halo Top. But other than that this place will get the job done.

A very nice small grocery store that has charm and more than you'd expect. Located just across hwy 169 on lake milacs. Warm and friendly staff. Close to dollar General, burger king and 10 or more business makes an ideal place for leisure and gas stops.

Clerk didn't seem to want to be helpful. Had to ask 3 times and be persistent before getting help. Practically no one in the store. No clorox wipes here, went across the street. Clerk at that store went out of her way to get the item I was looking for. Go General...

Small convenience store that seems to have almost everything. Employees are local and have that Minnesota nice attitude. Very quick service and they do carry out for free.
