I am so upset the way I was treated here. I was told in NO uncertain terms was I having my pup released to me after her surgery?!? I was told, “ go ahead and show up, we will not release her to you” I explained to them, there is no one at the clinic at night to watch her/them over night. She will be way better off at home! I was hung up on twice. The owner did call me just before I was leaving work and asked if I had an issue. I explained again, She will be well care of at home and She has never been alone without us.They did release her to me (after 1/2 hr) and also charged me for things I was not told about which included an overnight stay??!!! She did Not stay overnight. I was told, (after I was already told I would be credited the money) “ Unfortunately, it was part of the package?!I have other pets fixed and NEVER told they had to spend the night!My little girl did come home and is doing great!

We brought our English Mastiff pup to urgent care today. Everyone is so nice and very thorough there. He was treated and now is resting comfortably at home. Thank you GAH, we'll be back!!

They are just the best. Fair prices, practical and don’t try to oversell. I had a dog that required a monthly shot so I’ve been there a lot over several years. They keep it simple, only charge you for what’s needed and I will always be driving about an hour (round trip) just to bring my dogs there.

I needed a quick appointment for rabies boosters after a skunk incident. I got in SAME DAY without being a patient previously. They were so great and friendly there! Also reasonably priced. I’m considering driving the 45 minutes for all my vet needs.

Absolutely recommend going here! Our cat was very sick and our vet couldn’t get him in for an emergency but these guys did!! All staff was wonderful! Kind, friendly, efficient, and informative. Pricing was way less than I thought and it was an all around great experience and got my boy the help he needed. Five stars hands down!

I got a lot of recommendations to take my dog here but was very disappointed with the level of care. Upon arrival we discovered there were free roaming cats in the lobby, which is whatever but feels like possibly a hazard to the dogs, but there was also a free roaming DOG in the lobby, which made me very worried as my dog can be selective with other dogs and the dog came right up to mine. I find it very unprofessional to let a dog who may be coming in contact with sick dogs roaming around the lobby. When we were taken to the exam room, the tech was nice, but when the doctor arrived she did not introduce herself and barely spoke to us at all. I could not tell if she was another tech or what. Exam room was kinda dirty as well but the front desk ladies were nice and the prices were more than fair. It may have just been an off day but we won’t be returning.

Great place for animal care! I take my dog (Lola the pug) and my cat (Charlie the Persian cat) here for their shots and Charlie gets to come here to see Ms. Julie for grooming services. They are reasonably priced and I know my animals are well taken care of here. I even brought my uncle and his puppy here on a Sunday for an emergency surgery after his dog cut the front of her leg on a piece of tin. When I called, the answering machine gave a number to callFor emergencies. They answered on the second ring and asked how long it would take me to get there and said they would be there at that time waiting for us to arrive. Best service ever!

My family has been seeing Dr Deb and Dr Katie for approx 40 years and have usually had better experiences than I have for the past few years. My mother passed away 6yrs ago and left me 6 dogs. Well as we all know prices of EVERYTHING today is out of control to include Vet services but have our levels of service gotten any better? I have had 4 of the dogs pass on and each and everyone when I have called during business hours down to the last wire on emergencies you think I received a call back? No it took several tries throughout those heart wrenching days to simply get thru to one of the Dr's usually calling on the emergency line usually you got thru to a live person, but now after supporting out small town Vet that if didn't meet you at the office with your emergency at least had some comforting words or thoughts for you that would get you thru the night but now has anyone used their 24hr number? I never thought we would receive such impersonal care or just really waste of our time and money. I had an emergency a couple of weeks ago I logged in to this site that automatically charges you $50 to get a call back from the worst rudest (I better get this right because I was corrected) NOT a mame or anything of the such but she claimed to be a Veteranarian, not to find out any information from me or anything of the sort but to just give me a referral to other vets apparently that this person thought was close to garrison. At 330am I got referred to 1. Duluth 2. Fargo or 3. Roseville??? As we all know that if I would have chosen to get ready and drive those distances it would have been 8am and garrison animal hospital would be opening and hopefully if I gave them a call they would have called me back before 230pm that day. So I basically threw away $50 I could have used towards actual vet care.So if you are having an emergency after hours I hope that you have a back up vet for care because to get someone in the middle of the night (when we usually have out vet emergencies) don't plan on the good days of being able to reach Dr. Deb or Dr Katie to deal with. Those were the good old days I guess and being part of a family that has been so supportive of Garrison Animal Hospital and Wild and Free for so many years I felt a huge slap in the face and truly that myself, and especially my pets health really no longer mattered to Garrison Animal hospital but you usually get that feeling from Kris at the front desk.Sad to say that I am "stuck" continuing my vet care with them especially when my animals health really isn't that important to them anymoreSorry to have such bad news for people just coming to Garrison or becoming new patients their but after almost 40 years that is some true real hard feelings and facts I've experienced recently.SincerelyA long standing customer

Dr. K is amazing. I've worked at a few clinics and gone as a client, so I think I have a pretty good idea of what it should feel like and Dr. K is so caring & attentive. She explains things so you understand & answers all your questions and/or concerns without appearing to be bothered or inpatient with you. My family & I highly recommend G.A.H.

We come up to Isle frequently. Our dog got his tail shut in our camper door Friday morning and I was able to bring him in right away. Such caring and helpful staff. Thank you for helping our boy when we were away from home!! You guys are amazing

I recently had an unfortunate experience with Garrison Animal Hospital. I found their customer service to be extremely lacking. From the moment I walked in, something felt off. It took a long time for someone to even acknowledge my presence, and when I was finally brought to a room I felt like I was inconveniencing them by being there. Additionally, the communication between the doctor and I was horrible. I was not provided with any information about my pet's condition because the doctor refused to even look at my pet because of a prior disagreement when I stated I would never be returning after my pet had been put to rest there and had requested her blanket stay with her to get cremated and The staff agreed. After leaving that day I changed my mind and wanted to bring her home to bury her. When I returned my pet was laying there without her blanket. After questioning staff it was found the blanket had been taken and put in the wash. I was distraught and voiced I would never be returning. Because of that comment over a year ago I was rudly told at my recent visit my pet was not going to be looked at totally disregarding her condition. When I asked for clarification, the doctor rolled her eyes, repeated my visit would not be happening and walked out of the room. Overall, my experience with Garrison Animal Hospital's customer service was outrageous. The way the doctor and staff handled the situation was dispicable and I do not feel the doctor has the well being of animals at heart. I would not recommend their services based on this negative experience.

I had to take my dog here on Saturday! Wonderful care. On time for appointment. Tests were done and positive for Lymes and Anaplasmosis. Send home with pills. They even cut the pain pills in half. I recommend this place with 5 star care!!

What an increditable place and group of people! Not only does this hospital treat domestic pets but they work extremely hard at helping all the wildlife that flows through their doors non-stop, baby squirrels, raccoons, bats, owls, hawks, loons, you name it, they are eager to help. The Doctors are Amazing and the staff is Great!

The staff at Garrison Animal Hospital have been always kind and very helpful in seeing our fur babies for routine checkups as well as for emergency appointments. They take the time to answer questions and are always so loving to our pups and kitties.They have also been available to take in and care for animals we have found injured on the road. They certainly care for all the critters out there ❤️

We just moved to Garrison and started bringing our Alaskan Malamute here. The vets and assistants are great here!! My girl hates going to the vet and she refuses to go inside. They are so good at keeping her relaxed and they work with her and do everything right outside. Y’all about accommodating. Most places won’t do that, so I appreciate you working with her and their services are very affordable. Thank you for all you do.

The staff and doctors are amazing. They treat your pets like your own. Plus they don't rob you blind! I lived in the cities about a year ago and the vet prices down there are atrocious! I love this place, after going there for two years they have yet to disappoint me.

Fostering a rescue dog who needed a procedure done. They took her in right away and she was ready to go 2 hours earlier than expected. I got discharge instructions but never saw a vet or got info on how procedure went.

Had a great experience today my first time at this clinic. i am out of hibbing and this clinic was the only one that would take in my guinea pig, it was worth the trip! i could sense something was wrong with my boy and these amazing people spent the time with us to figure out what was wrong . very nice , compassionate and caring people at this clinic, will definitely go back if needed .

My dog "Norton" got into some rat poison and I rushed him to the hospital after hours and the vet induced vomiting and saved his life. The veterinarian that saw him was so caring and compassionate. I will be forever grateful to her.

I have to update my review of Garrison animal hospital. The staff Chris in particular are is truly outstanding. I called today because my 10-year-old she has had a lot of problems with an upset tummy. Nothing seems to satisfy him and so turns out I was fixing his chicken and his beef wrong and Chris updated me on what to do and I have to say I tried it and he ate every bit of it. I just have to thank the staff and Dr. Katie and dr. Deb. Y'all are wonderful! Thank you so much. From the bottom of my heart, Ken and Jan PerryDr. Deb and Dr. Katie are caring, knowledgeable and skilled. Their staff are tops also. I highly recommend them!

Our lab/golden retriever mix had a very scary health issue at 2:30am and we called the Garrison Animal Hospital emergency line and Dr. Katie answered the phone immediately and video chatted with us and helped us through the situation. The next morning, the Garrison Animal Hospital staff helped us right away with an urgent appointment with Dr. Annika. All the staff including Dr. Katie and Dr. Annika and the the Vet Tech were so helpful and caring. The prices are very reasonable. This is the best Veterinary clinic I have ever been to.

I was thankful to be referred to Garrison Animal hospital from another veterinarian.We had an emergency situation occur with our dog and Garrison was the only facility who would help and see us the same day.Everyone was great, comforting and top notch care.
