Ordered for pickup. Told us 20-30 min. Nobody when walked in. Took another 30 minutes before brought out. Burger & buns burnt. Fries over cooked. Taco Salad not much flavor. No utensils to eat taco salad with or napkins. We won't be eating there or suggesting this place to anyone.

Came early on an evening they were having a band outdoors later that night. Beers were expensive, cannot run a tab. Asked for a menu, bartender said "I don't know where the menus are" and walked away. Asked a second bartender for a menu, she got one right away. Food came out fast and was very good. Bar was not busy, service was mediocre at best with 5 bartenders working and 7 people in the bar. Maybe I caught them in a bad night, but not sure I'll return.

Both the bartender and my server were very nice and attentive to my needs. I was pleasantly surprised with the food choices they offered on their menu and even more surprised when they brought me the chicken and shrimp Alfredo that I ordered. The portion size was more than I could eat and this dish was delicious; All at a price that was more than acceptable to me. Thanks Ventures, I will come back when traveling across Minnesota on Hwy2.

We stopped here for supper due to the good Google reviews. Wow, am I glad we did! My table ordered the chicken and ribs (delicious), chicken strips (child said they were awesome), and I had the parmesan garlic wings. Honestly some of the best wings I've ever had. We will definitely be stopping here again when we travel through town. Excellent server too!

I have a mobile DJ business and I did a wedding reception/dance there last night. For it being my first visit there here are my impressions: Jesse and his wife and staff are all great people to work with. It's a nice place and his staff was very professional. I didn't see his bartenders ever sit still the entire evening, they we're constantly doing something, from serving drinks to cleanup of the reception area. It's a nice sized place with plenty of room for an event and it's set up very well to handle a good size crowd.

I had the worse ribeye ever.Had to ask for refills.Never asked how our food was or if we needed anything.Had to ask for our tab. Then 20 minutes for someone to take our card - after asking again. Watched the server help 5 others.Unless you're a regular I would not recommend this place.

The food is really good and the service was awesome. Our waiter was the best, he was checking in to see how we were doing and or asking if we needed anything. Will definitely eat there again.

Went to celebrate my sister's birthday she couldn't have New York strip they ran out waitress came back shortly after we ordered and said they were out of baked potatoes so I ordered hasbrowns got my steak that was almost not even close to med & it had salty fries she said I'd get My hasbrowns in a minute or so never got em The garlic bread was soggy My mom had to order a different cut of steak as well her was half fat n grizzle. My husband had walleye was ok kinda dry his American fries were burnt he stabbed one with a fork n a bunch of em slid off the plate because they were all hard. Not a place I've been before Not a place I'll go back to any time soon

My mother planned by dad's 70th birthday party here and it was a total mess. We were promised a space for our personal party and instead we were given a few tables in a loud part of the bar that clearly wasn't even set aside for parties.This place has a private area for parties, we booked in July for a party in January and somehow ended up in the bar. My mom called the week before to make sure we would be in a quiet space for the party because no one in my family is a big drinker so we just wanted to be on our own. We were assured by the owner, Jessie Manecke, that they would set up a divider so we would have our own space. There was no divider, we were right in an open bar where they had overbooked with a giant party of snowmobilers as well.When my mom tried to talk with him after not delivering on any of his promises after the party, Jessie Manecke hung up on her.Despicable man, and business.

After waiting nearly an hour and a half our party got up and left. Took forever to get menus and waters. After putting in our order other parties showed up and got their food way before we would've gotten ours.

I believe this is one of only three public drinking options in Fosston (the others being a small cafe at the grocery store with a decent selection of regional craft beer and a family pizza place.) Ventures is a dive, but dont get too excited if that's your thing. Ventures is pricey and it isn't kitschy or charming in any way. Its just sort of depressing. Random observation: Their Christmas tree was adorned with ornaments made from empty cigarette packs.
