The only problem was I asked for my cheeseburger without ketchup mustard or pickles. Since it was take out it was a few minutes before I was going to eat it and realized that they had put ketchup mustard and pickles on it. This is your average but older Dairy Queen. The staff however, are a litter better than average.This Dairy Queen is clean but some of the things are old like the displays for the main menus. Our treats were made quickly and were brought to our table. They were good, as to be expected.It's good that there is one of these in Fosston, it helps to add variety to the small amount of options in the town.

Poor staffing. Large man has absolutely no care or knowledge of his job. Didn’t even care that he messed up the order and blatantly ignored us. The lazy disrespect and poor hygiene of the employees is absolutely repulsive. Not worth the time or the money.

Stopped in at 8pm after a volleyball game. Lobby was closed, but drive through was open. I gave a complicated order of a bunch of random stuff for everyone in the car. Surprisingly, they got the order all correct! Seems like a rarity in drive throughs now days. Service was fairly fast, workers were nice. Would have given 5 stars if seating was open. I was not excited about eating my chili dog in the car. Keep up the good work DQ!

We stopped at Dairy Queen on Labor Day Monday 2022 for a quick brunch. We walked in and proceeded to stand at the cash register area, waiting to place our order. We stood there for probably about 10 minutes, during which time several staff members walked by us, glanced in our direction, but at no point acknowledged our presence or offered to take our order. So we left, never to return.....

The waitress was very attentive, everything a waitress should be. The food was delicious.The facility needs some care. Dust on chair rungs, saggy booth seating and the women's rest room had full garbage cans, paper on the floor and empty towel dispensers.

Pleasant service! good, fresh food. Onion rings were just right, very crispy, corn meal? Tender chicken strips. Employees busy in a quiet time, prepping for a rush. Impressive!We came because someone in Bemidji recommended that location as preferred to the Bemidji DQ.Parking: Weird layout, as the drive thru was part of the parking lot. It was confusing.

We stopped at the Dairy Queen on a busy Sunday evening in the summer. The facility was quite warm, and packed. Although we went into the restaurant itself, the drive-up line was constant and long. It was apparent that the staff was very busy and trying to fill orders as quickly as possible. All Things Considered, I think the staff did as good a job as they possibly could under the circumstances. There were several tables that were still not yet cleared, and the very warm facility was a distraction. However our dinner was very good.

Arrived to find only the drive through open with cars waiting on the shoulder of the highway (unsafe) and called to check if they had ice cream cakes, which they claimed they did. Sat with angry kids for 30 minutes to finally order only to find out there are no iced cream cakes (whoever was on the phone lied). Got to the window and they dumped out melty Blizzards on our van to prove some kind of point. Post COVID I can forgive a lot of service errors, but lying to us about what was available is both unprofessional and unforgivable. That will be the last time giving this store any money.

The drive thru is slow. It always has been. Expect to wait about 10-15 minutes or run in to get your order (it will be much faster) I don't mind the wait they give you a lot of food (ask for the monster meal a small shoe box size box meal for $5 it is enough for 2 normal people or really fill you up good. Its good for traveling to have a bit left over for and afternoon snack.

Waited over 20 minutes for food, the food was cold, I asked for my money back once I received my money the drive up door was slammed in my face. I am tired of the poor food quality and poor customer service. This is getting to be regular behavior from this establishment and it's sad.

I went through the drive through because the tiny parking lot they had was full. Going through the drive through took longer than people going in and out though. The drive thru area is not set up well because people going in and out of the store part have to walk between vehicles in the drive thru lane. Great blizzard though.

The new 9:00 pm is 8:00 pm I went there last night it was a little after 8:00 pm i went to their door and found it to be locked up so I went around to the other door and that was also locked so i then went with my vehicle to the drive threw and they said they were closed due to maintenance... I went ok but there were 3 parties inside the restaurant the way I look at it is if you served them why can't you serve me? You can always get around the maintenance if all a person wanted was ice cream I understand that you are busy cleaning the grill but you can get around that 😤

Poor service. Order was given to someone else as they accidentally used the same number twice. When the employee went to the back to fix it you could here someone arguing that they just made the order and it was given to two teenagers. The entire restaurant could here them argue. When the food did finally arrive it tasted good.

The staff is always ready to serve customers even near closing time. Although this location closes early this time of season, its always place to grab a quick hot or cold treat any time of day. Truly a place where theres always a friendly face!

Because they are friendly, accommodating, and they support our veterans, children's hospital, and they have fan favorite foods. I have been inside and eaten there it's cleanly they serve food to you I love their new foods that they come out with. Mostly, I go through the drive-through because I have a bird that can't come inside but he likes Dairy Queen Cones not the ice cream 🍦. I know of other pet lovers family that also take their pets with them for the occasional DQ treat. It is fun to see that Dairy Queen is not just for people. It is for everyone and everyone loves everything about DQ. I remember way back when my grandparents telling me one thing to do that was fun for everyone was pack everyone in the car including the family dog and go to DQ. I thank the DQ for listening to it's customers and for supporting highschooler's when they need a job many kids I've known either started out at Dairy Queen, Subway, or McDonald's. I think that Dairy Queen supports down-home goodness the way it should be. Who doesn't remember their first dilly bar, or their peanut Buster Parfait. And the ever popular ice cream cakes. I could go on and on and they make things the way you want them if you want to add some extra stuff in it go ahead I don't mind paying a little extra for more chocolate. Thanks Dairy Queen you're the best.

This is the best DQ in 150+ mile radius. We visit here fairly frequent. We’ve never been disappointed. Best blizzards around and the food is ALWAYS hot when you get it! If you’re thinking of the Mentor MN DQ, I’d advise driving the extra distance to Fosston! You won’t regret it.

Medium blizzard was all vanilla ice cream and no to very few m and ms I hate plain vanilla ice cream 🤮 I got maybe 1 m and m per 6 bites. Didn't finish it because as I stated I dont like a cup of vanilla ice cream and yes I stirred it

Went there for an ice cream cake Lobby was closed so we sat in the drive through and waited for 6 cars to get there’s then when we went to the thing to order they said they only had small so we said we’ll take it got to the window and they said they didn’t have any not to mention when we tried to say they told us they had one the guy kept cutting us off

Made a trip down to get new roterisse chicken and fries with texas toast. Chicken size of thumbnail, soggy cold fries and burnt texas toast save your money eat elsewhere. Two people ahead of us, wife asked twice please in sure food and fries are hot, that was a waste of breath. Will stick to icecream they seem to do this ok.
