We come here for regular grooming of our long coat German Shepherd dog. Service is always very friendly. Dog toys are typically very overpriced, but occasionally, they have a fun themed batch like Stars Wars or neutral colors.They have a nice selection of betta fish. I keep one in a kitchen vase with some rocks and Ivy plant stem snippets. (They typically live 1-2 years.)They recently added some "Nate + Jeremiah" VERY STYLISH lighting and aquarium decor for rodents and reptiles. (See pics.) The neutral ivory, charcoal, rust, and black color scheme with fresh greenery and gold metal, jute rope, and caramel faux leather textures looked gorgeous! It made me want to get a gecko or chinchilla, but they didn't have any.

Friendly staff that are willing to help and answer questions as needed. Clean, well stocked store with tons of options for your pets. Leashed pets are welcome to shop with you. Prices are reasonable.

Specifically went here for a plecostomus, and Kuhli and black loaches for my son's small tank. They only had one kind of plecostomus which we did buy, they were out of all of their loaches. We also bought a betta here as well which passed away within 3 days, and while they have a 14-day return the store is 45 minutes away from home and we didn't have time to go back because we were getting ready for bringing my 7 year old son in for high dose chemo. The associate said that they hadn't been able to feel all of the orders they put in recently. But she did refer us to another store, which has an amazing selection. My son enjoyed seeing all of the cats up for adoption, as well as the lizards, scorpions, and tarantulas. The prices on equipment are also higher than other pet supply stores in the area. Would come here again, but would definitely shop around for other options.

The selection here is phenomenal! However the staff seems to always be unhappy like they dread helping you. I was here yesterday and the clerk didn’t even offer to put my several items in a bag, just watched me struggle to grab them well starting to help the person behind me.

I was there Monday evening with two of my children, and we had the BEST experience. This store has the nicest friendliest employees of any pet store I have ever been to. I have never felt so welcome in a store. Huge shout out to Laura for her exceptional customer service. She TOTALLY MADE our night!!!! And the gal at the cash register was just as friendly and welcoming as could be. We'll be back!!!!My son got goldfish. One didn't make it, but the rest are doing great. 😍 And the Beta's we got are beautiful.

Bad customer service. “Denied” scheduling my pets grooming appointment because I had covid and was not able to bring her in the last time I made her an appointment and forgot to cancel. I have brought my pets here numerous times and it rubs me the wrong way when i spend hundred at Petsmart monthly. Never shopping at petsmart ever again. Thanks Forest lake pet smart! Definitely will let my job Banfield know about your service.

Petsmart has very nice people and have everything i need to get from there but the one thing that bothers me is these goldfish yes they are just fish but it’s really sad to me that they get crammed into these small tanks that have dirt and dead fish floating around and skin from the fish decay. I would love to see them more happy and spread out more!

We moved to the area and decided to give petsmart a try for our dogs nail trim. We will never be back. The lack of communication there is unbelievably horrible. Now I know why most people do not go there for grooming needs, and seeing review from a week ago that they don't have anyone trained or certified that explains my dogs experience. 🤔 they tried to blame my 5 month old dog, we were able to watch through the door and she may not have been perfect and antsy but you could tell the person did not know what she was doing. Now if petsmart knows she isn't trained or not comfortable or trained in trimming nails why would you put her in that situation and especially my poor dog and to use her as a guinea pig. Not ok!

Short staffed in grooming area. Wanted to get my 3 cats in for nail trim/brush out. Told no nail groomer. Will be a month b4 someone gets certified. Why does everyone have such issues with cats?

Zero stars for store manager. I purchased two gerbils In January. Last week I had 8 baby gerbils in my cage. Clearly, the only reasonable explanation for this since neither of the gerbils have had any other outside contact is that I was sold a male and a female gerbil and they reproduced.Since I clearly can’t raise a gerbil litter, I went back to store and asked that they take the gerbils back since Their store screwed up.Spoke to manger who was less than helpful. Basically doubted my story since “we only sell male gerbils”. Ok, man, I’m not a biologist but short of some sort of immaculate conception, you clearly sold me a female!He has no interest in taking back his stores screwup since I was past the “14 day return policy”. Again, not a biologist, but this process of reproduction takes more then 14 days.After getting treated like absolute garbage the manager took my information to contact me for a solution that he would come up with the next day. Clearly he just wanted me out of his store since he didn’t call like he said he would leaving me with his screw up!I’m done with Petsmart! Terrible service !

I cannot say enough about how absolutely pleased I am with the Forest Lake Pet Smart grooming services. Courtney and Emily were absolutely wonderful. This was the very first time I EVER had my Shelties professionally groomed. Today we took Luna and Lorenzo to get their nails done. The one who did it was Dynasty and we had a great experience. My husband and me we were surprised about the knowledge that she has with cats and we thought that our cat Luna was going to be a little difficult but nope!! We are going to come back for sure!!!

They are always sweet and friendly there and especially to Alaina and Laura(sorry about spelling?) Those 2 gals are so great and helpful and personable. Makes an experience better there especially if its coming that time soon for your pet, its not always as fun of a shopping trip. So thank you to them.

I am 100% impressed with our service tonight. I came in looking for puppy formula. They guided me to the aisle. Gave me advice on what formula. Showed me multiple products. I found a defective cat tower and spoke to a store employer on receiving a discount on it. He honored a discount for it and told me about signing up for their rewards program to receive an even larger discount. I not only saved so much money, they definitely won me over as a new customer! I can't wait to use my rewards and save more money there having 2 dogs, 4 newborn puppies and 3 cats. I recommend 100%! This is such a lovely addition to Forest Lake!

I was in today to purchase an aquarium and stand. The store was extremely busy and seemingly understaffed. Although I had to wait quite a while for service. The service I was given was nothing short of excellent. The sales woman who assisted me was running around assisting multiple people at once while also assisting employees. She took very good care to make sure it was known she was working on my purchase whilst putting out multiple fires. The gentleman Nathanial who helped me load the tank and stand was also extremely helpful and quick. I appreciated how well they took care of me, given the circumstances. So to those two employees well done and thank you. You made what could have been an awful experience not only tolerable but pleasant.

They are super friendly and knowledgeable here. The only thing that could be changed is policing the park lot for pets being left in hot cars. That’s what brought us into the store this weekend on a 90 degree day. Use some common sense people. Dogs can enter the store, so why leave them in a hot car with the windows rolled up??

Staff is wonderful! Just moved into forest lake and I can happily say the staff care about the pets we buy for!! Bearded dragons cats fish dogs and unexpected puppies! When I have a long day at work the staff make my day sooo much brighter. Can’t wait to bring our puppies to the dog training classes!! Round of a applause for a great staff!! I was very disappointed when I scheduled an appointment and then my groomer cancelled a day before i was scheduled to bring my puppy in.I called and they didnt have a replacement person to take my groomers place that day. Plus the last time I was in, they charged me another 20 dollars more thanthan month before for the same service. I will not be going back to petsmart! I have a 11 lb puppy and was charged 90 dollars

Amanda, in the grooming area, is absolutely amazing!! My pup Stella would give her 10/10! She has seen Amanda 5 or 6 times now. We only schedule with her now, because she is so friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and fantastic with Stella. From the first visit you could tell Amanda loves dogs.
