Service here is incredible. Staff is always friendly, and I love popping in before dining at keys to greet kitties up for adoption or pick out a new dog toy.I feed my dog raw, but I like to have a dry food backup for traveling or simply for days we forget to thaw pup's meal. Finding a kibble that's NOT toxic is tough, and it's more challenging to find ones that are balanced and nutritious. We previously fed ORIJEN, but since Purina bought in them 2023, I've heard scary reports of the new formula making dogs sick. EEEK!So I was on a hunt for an ORIJEN alternative. I researched several products online in advance.CAUTION: If you feed your pet foods with more raw ingredients and negligible preservatives, you must ENSURE THE BAG IS AIRTIGHT, or your pet could get sick from the deteriorating food. (I learned the hard way; a bag that was shipped to me from another seller had "popped" the seal, and I didn't think through how critical the airtight factor was.)In an effort to confirm the "airtight" factor and quality ingredients, I decided that an in-person visit to Chuck's was necessary. Staff was very helpful for grabbing bags and reading/comparing labels with me. My finalists were Open Farm RawMix, Farmina N&D Grain-Free Quinoa | Digestion, and Farmina N&D Venison | Skin & Coat. While I love the freeze-dried component of Open Farm's RawMix, their bags were somewhat loose fitting. The Farmina bags were vacuum-packed with no question of freshness, so I opted for Farmina. Chuck has a satisfaction guarantee and was surpringly the same price or less than Chewy or Amazon, which also made me feel better about the choice. (To the two ladies that helped me out, THANK YOU so much!)For raw feeders out there, I highly recommend Chuck's for picking a good dry food back up! They also have freezers with raw patties (fully balanced), fermented goat's milk, and more.I also love Chuck's diverse selection of antlers and chews. They have some XL antler panels, which are rare to find and critically needed for the larger breed dogs to sufficiently enjoy before it become bone broth scraps. I love the 5-foot meat sticks for just $9. (See photo.) The gigantic size is so entertaining. My dog's eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas morning when she saw me with them. Ha!Chuck's has a decent selection of dog toys. They have added more larger profile toys to the mix, which my German Shepherd greatly appreciates. The mammoth with a tennis ball in the tummy is my pup's new favorite squishy. (See photo.)Overall, I think they take "Are you a friend of Chuck's?" to heart. I appreciate their genuine love/interest in my dog and their commitment to offering in good quality foods, toys, and supplies. We vote two paws up!

One of my favorite places to go for pet items and advice on products. Brought my new Great Dane puppy Indy in the other day and he had so much fun and got so much attention he didn't want to leave! I'd say that tells you everything you need to know about what kind of awesome people they have working there. This was his 2nd time out in public and it was such a fantastic experience for him.

One of Nora’s favorite places to go!! All the staff are so nice to her and love Nora so much, so they’re all pretty generous with treats for her! And Nora knows how to work the system by going to each person working and getting some treats from each of them. Everyone there is very welcoming and seem to all love animals and seeing all the furry faces. It’s our favorite store!!

I was at the Forest Lake site later in the evening. I was actually looking for a small fish net for my fish tank. When I arrived, the two young ladies/employees were sitting on the cashier's counter chatting. There was no one else in the store. They both immediately jumped down, and asked to assist me. I told them I was looking for a fish net for my fish tank. The young gal gave me a very genuine apology, stating they had no fish supplies. She was so cute and engaging. (My disclaimer, I am a grandma and a pediatric nurse, I love kids of all ages.) She had me laughing and really raised my dull mood. Because of her cheerful kindness, I bought some treats for my cats. She then showed me the cat for sale (an animal rescue organization will use Chuck and Don's to find homes for homeless animals). She tried to make him purr but when he wouldn't, she pulled out her phone and showed me a video of the cat purring loudly. What I thought would be a quick in and out, and boring visit, turned out to be a fun and cheerful experience! When I left, I told the young ladies they could go back to sitting on the counter---some may think that a sign of lazy employees but I found it took down my guard and encouraged me to relax. Kudos girls!

Bear and I love going into the store! I always make sure I have a few extra minutes so everyone can spoil Bear, especially Meesha, the owner😊. They have a wide variety of foods and snacks along with toys and other things to make your furbaby happy. The prices are good except when they have a sale....then they are great! I love the smaller store and hometown feel. All of the people working there seem happy and are very helpful when I need carrying help. 🙂

The store itself has a great selection of Open Farm we buy for our cats and dogs but worst customer service ever. Lexi was so rude and unprofessional as she rang us up. I asked about the 10% off of frozen dog food and she said she’d make sure the discount was applied but when she was done and I paid it was not applied so I asked if I could still get the discount and she proceeded to say she’d have to return everything and then ring everything up again so I told her I was ok with that but her attitude was so salty and unpleasant and she was very argumentative with my mom - will be purchasing directly from Open Farms website after this experience.

Love the selection that they offer. They’ve been out of goat’s milk every time I’ve gone in so that’s a little annoying as I can’t find that at other pet store’s I’ve checked. I also signed up for the reward program in store but there’s no where I can find online to be able to finish setting up an account/login to check status.

The absolute worse customer service ever. I needed a bottle to feed some kittens and I searched and searched. Walked the store at least 3 times. The first two laps I didn’t even see a worker and then one came wrote something on her hand and turned a left before I could get close to ask her about bottles. Then a cashier was helping someone at the register when I scanned the barcode for this review and still not even a hello. The person she was scanning out had left to grab something so it’s not like the customer was there. I left. Still no bottle but I will not be back. Target for me I guess

What a fabulous experience! I've been trying to find a better pet food for my amazing 14 year old feline lady with stomach issues, and I ended up at this location twice in the past week. The first time, the amazing Annalise helped me out in finding some high quality new dry food to try, alongside some cans of wet food to try. My (not so) little lady is notoriously picky about her wet food, so I asked what my options would look like if it turned out she didn't like it & found out about their terrific exchange policy. As I'm sure comes to a shock as no cat owner, my gal would not try the new wet food. I came back in 6 days later to exchange the remaining cans, and it was a breeze to do even without the receipt! This time, the fabulous Candice helped me out & we found some new wet foods for my lady to try. Only time will tell on if I'm back an additional time to exchange the wet food for yet another test run, but I can say with certainty that I will be a continuing customer for a long time to come!
