Quality Meats is your old-fashioned meat market. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They remember who you are and are always willing to take a few minutes to visit. I have Von Hanson's in the same town I live, but I drive to Foley from Monticello because of the quality and excellence of Quality Meats. They are just awesome.

Customer service and communication of the staff there is below zero. They want everything done online don't respond to phone calls very quickly. Not all people want to do everything online. They act like they don't want human communication. They did not even want to give me a receipt. They need to hire a staff member to work up front to respond to real people.

i took my 2 sides of bacon and 4 hocks that i had trim all the fat off of to this place to be smoked i asked that NONE of my meat get cut or sliced as i wanted to do all that myself. I sent my husband to pick up the meat and he did not look at it before he left seeing how i was asured that they would not cut or slice our meat when he brought it in i could see that one of the bacons had been sliced and that meat is missing and then opened up the rest of the bags to find that i had ONLY 2 hocks 1 that i know for sure is not even my meat i brought them as its all fat and another bag that has cut ends in it that i dont even know where it came from and the other bacon had been cut as well to make the ends strate. the are closed now but i for sure be bringing this meat back as it must not be mine as i ask for NO cutting or slicing on my meat!!!! if they make good i will change my rating
