The day before Thanksgiving 2023 around noon. Pretty quiet this day.We had a ticket for a free pitcher of beer from the BJ Christmas tree lot.Pretty good deal. We ordered and split the Bacon Bourbon Cheeseburger. It was what I call a WOW meal. Really good.My wife decided that we will be back very soon.

I have to say we are so glad to find this place from a referral of a friend. The place was very clean and well kept. Amy was our server and she was always attending to our table. Well kept and clean uniforms and appearance! Super surprised to have a full salad bar! Food was great and to top it off the pricing blew me away! $54 for a walleye dinner, full rack of ribs and salad bar, simply unheard of! Well done we will be back!!! Thank you

Tonight was the first time I was disappointed with Jack & Jims. Have been a customer infrequently for 30+ years and always left very happy. This evening 6 - 8p.m., restaurant was not busy, service (Thank you Liz) was great. Two of our meals were good, both shrimp dinners, but the sirloin and the filet mignon were both overcooked, and the mushroom sauce was chewy mushrooms in congealed gravy with no flavor. Very disappointing.We will come again, hopefully the 'old' standards will resume.

We were at jack and Jim’s Friday night the 19th of JanuaryWe cannot complain about our service. It was great. But my husband ordered a filet mignon it was so tuff he couldn’t even cut it with a steak knife it was terrible I ordered a ribeye steak a 12 ozIt was not a 12 oz steak it was paper thin although it was edible it was raw. We used to love this place. Has it gone downhill or what. We were very disappointed in both our meals. And we spent a lot of money. It will take a long time for me to go back

Jack & Jim's Food & Liquor is a hidden gem to the locals. The food is great and reasonably priced - fresh local products made like you would at home. Delicious meals and salad bar -- homemade appeal. Even free refills. Staff makes you feel like at home and adds a little extra efforts with a smile. There Specials are just that "Special" -- cooked to PERFECTION. We, that is, my whole family, love to frequent Jack & Jim's at least 2-3 times a month. It's worth the drive. It's hidden in the middle of nowhere. But truly a rare find to relax and ear good food with friends and family. As you can guess, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jack & Jim's Food & Liquor.But, let's keep it our secret for family and friends. Oh, Sunday has a GREAT Brunch Daily Special -- Shhhh.

Our server was Becky and she was AMAZING!! She was on top of orders and checking in and her manners are over the top! I had my kids with and she made sure to ask before giving them refills on pop which I don’t like doing so that was like extra brownie points for me!! The food was amazing too but the service alone I would go back for! Wow! And on a busy Friday night! We had ribs and filet mignon and all was cooked to perfection!!! For a place in the middle of nowhere I am always amazed at how awesome this place is!!! I highly recommend!!

Always have had great food and friendly service. Wonderful salad bar. Their broccoli raisin salad is just like homemade. I had the prime rib many times is it is always cooked just as I requested, medium rare. Prices have gone up but it is what it is. There is plenty of parking even when they had a special event taking place.
