Petri's Bait shop in Finlayson Minnesota is far and away more than just a bait shop. When you pull up to this story you see that they have handicap parking, Gas pumps, propane sales, And approved Firewood Available. Upon entering You know it's right away that they have more than just bait and tackle. They also have a very very ample grocery section complete with large freezers for ice cream, pizza, burritos, chicken, steaks, sausage etc etc . Then as you turn to your left and look through the store you also see that they have a very ample section of apparel and supplies for fishing, hunting, or just enjoying the outdoors. And yes they do in fact have a very nice selection of bait ( both live and lures) to catch all the various fish that are swimming around in the many lakes in the area. Oh and they also some really neat things like games and candles and lotions and what not. It is a really cool little store; I really recommend stopping there.

Petrys bait has a mini grocery store inside of it, hunting equipment, a gas station it's a convenience store. You can get fishing licenses there, hunting licenses. Their prices are a little high but it's overall a convenience store for finlayson. I would recommend their store for everyone.

Carla, the night shift clerk, will happily run your card for more money, especially if you don't request your receipt. I'm assuming she thought I wasn't local, and as I frequent regularily, I didn't feel the need-regardless. 20 minutes after I leave, and all of a sudden, the charge goes through, and for $23 EXTRA dollars, then before! It's funny how it processes when I'm in the store still, when I request my receipt. BUYER BEWARE. They will rip you off if they think you aren't local, even if you ARE. If they don't recognize you, better request that receipt! I've loved you guys for years, and this is just beyond scummy. So, so disappointed.

Best stop around my family has been stopping here since it opened as the original owners and my grandparents were friends always helpful and have what is needed. My kids wanted me to leave a post to say they always make me stop at Petrys every trip to the cabin on Lake 11. Thanks for your bait over all the years!

The have a bait shop and you can get your fishing and hu ting license there as well. They also have diesel fuel and gasoline. Very friendly staff

Petry’s is always the first stop when visiting the family’s cabin. Fishing license, groceries, bait and tackle and great staff. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area

Been buying gas, fishing gear, groceries and snacks at Petry's since 1999. They seem to have everything and their hours are long. Good live bait including crawlers, leeches and minnows. Camping equipment too.
