I chuckled a little to discover other customers were arriving who also left the Threshing Show...Crazy Mary's is a beautiful place..doesn't look like it from the outside. The hall leading us into the dining room was done in a light wood paneling...Many tasteful decorations on the walls. The ladies' room was clean and very kept up...Our food was delicious...My daughter ordered a grill chicken plate with tater tots...My husband had fish basket with American fries.I had a BLT with chips.Fantastic. Great service.

This restaurant has a great feel. The floors, bathrooms and tables are clean and well stocked. I have to take away one star for the service, unfortunately.I have worked in food service, as well as customer service for close to a decade.The waitress had 'hustle', but tried to take away my menu halfway through ordering. It wasn't busy. There was only myself and a half dozen state troopers. She didn't bother asking me if I wanted anything else, added a pancake AND toast, despite telling her I didn't want toast.Instead of adding the cost of additional ingredients to the hash browns, she charged me separately for the hash brown stacks, pancake.

We seated ourselves at direction of waitstaff. Our server was jovial and saw to our needs quickly.French Fries were superb, my fish sandwich was good, and my wife's BLT was also very good.Great stop on the William Munger trail.

We came in after a red eye flight on our way to Duluth. There was one gal taking care of everyone who didn’t skip a beat. It was simple breakfast food, but was exactly what we needed. This place like seems like a regular place for the locals and everyone knew each other. It’s worth the stop!

To be fair I can't really do a review on crazy Mary's right now because everybody is short of staff and I don't want to kick a restaurant when it's trying to get up. The food was okay the staff did try to stay ahead of the complaining to come letting people know how long it would take to get their food or how backed up they were before they sat down even. So just be aware that technically it's a five-star review but I have to give it three because this is what's going on right now. Five stars for effort five stars for food quality three stars for doing everything they can. Yes I highly recommend the place.

We were in the area for hiking and on a whim wanted to check out Crazy Mary's Cafe and I'm so glad we did. We both had chicken wraps that were extremely tasty! Staff was very friendly, and the establishment itself seemed very nice, though we took our order to go! I recommend coming here after a nice hike it banning state park

Waited for about 45 minutes for food, ordered appetizers and we got them with our meal and we got chips instead of fries. Had to leave since my kids could no longer wait. Burgers were okay the server was apologetic which is the only reason for the 2 stars.

Lovely server. Good burger with french-fried onions and BBQ sauce. Def recommend the crinkle fries. Unbelievably neat and clean! Took the broasted chicken to go! Sweet!Parking: Park outside the building!Kid-friendliness: Staff attentive to children.

My party of 9 visited on a Saturday morning. Service was pleasant, prompt, appropriate. Menu items we ordered included plate size pan cakes, omelets and sausage gravy hashed browns. No complaints from my group. Kid tip, even big eaters will have trouble finishing two pancakes. We would definitely enjoy returning to this restaurant for breakfast again in the future.

A friend and I were riding the bike trail nearby and we were ready to take a break. We had lunch at Crazy Mary's Cafe and had a wonderful experience. This is a local gem and I wish it was closer to my home because I would make it a regular stop. The menu is large and the prices are very good. The food was excellent and the server was fabulous.

We come here as a large group when we're up to visit the in-laws. Our lone blessed waitress did a great job with our group of 17 while also serving all the other tables. I had the hand-battered fried fish with baked potato and green beans, which was delicious. My daughters had burgers and fries. My son had the rigatoni with plain sauce (no meat) and garlic bread. My hubby had the broasted chicken dinner. Next time, I'm going to have the taco salad. It looked really good on its way to another table.

This was our first visit, since we are vacationing in Duluth. We stopped by for lunch and oh my god. The food was SO good! My daughter had the minestrone soup and she said it was fabulous. I had the uffda burger and my wife had the woodsman burger, they were both amazing. The staff were kind and knowledgeable. They kept up with Covid guidelines. Can not recommend this place enough.

Friendly down home place with a pleasant menu. Even when busy, they seem to get the food out consistently. Waitresses are friendly, not over chatty like some places. Kitchen crew is friendly as well. Food is consistent. Fast and reliable. Thank you for taking care of us. You all are "Crazy" good people!

We were late getting there but it didn't matter. Our server was one of the best ever. Actually we ate there twice today. Once for breakfast and dinner. Mary has got herself some very good helpers and cooks 5 stars.

Great side of the road place to stop for a bote to eat. Place is relatively clean. Staffs seems good and well mannered. Took one star off because there shakes aren't all that great...its more like a cup of ice cream with milk and chocolate added in. Not mixed all that well.

The waitress was new & it was clear she didn't have much training. There's a policy of a maximum of 6 people per table but 7 people took a table next to mine & one diner took a chair from another table & sat at the head of his table which put him closer to me than he should have been, causing me to move my table away from his. No one on the staff told him some of the group would have to sit at another table. Ordered a BBQ chicken sandwich & menu stated it would be "smothered" in sauce but there wasn't enough to even taste it. I gave 5 stars because I've gotten takeout frequently & food has always been good. This was my first time dining in during the pandemic & since the business reopened after being closed for several months.

Crazy Mary's has great food. They need more stadd on for their Friday fish fry though. I called to place an order, and was put on hold for 17 minutes. I drove over to the cafe, and was still on hold. They were very busy, and I understood, but feel they should staff better on Fridays.

Stopped by for lunch at this cafe after ice climbing at Sandstone... One of the best places to eat out in the area. I had chicken quesadillas and those were delicious and came out quickly. Our server was nice and attentive. Also, our lunch turned out to be inexpensive. To add, there’s quite a bit of parking outside. I’d highly recommend this restaurant!
