We can't say enough good things about Fissan! We've used them for boarding and obedience classes and have been so pleased with both. The classes have been incredibly informative for us and we, both Gemma and myself, have learned a ton! We are excited to attend out next class! Boarding has been a terrific experience as well! We recently went on a family vacation and, unfortunately, we were not able to bring Gemma with us. It was reassuring knowing that she was well taken care of while we were away. An added bonus was seeing the pictures posted of her playing with the other dogs! It was like she got a little vacation as well!

My dog attends daycare about once a week at Fissan. He LOVES it, always coming home tired and happy at the end of a long play day. They always post pictures to their Facebook page featuring the dogs at daycare that day so you can see what your pup was up to and how much fun they had. The staff here are kind and knowledgeable and really encourage dog-on-dog play while keeping an eye on your pup. In the summer they have pools for dogs to galavant in and in the winter they clear the back area of any snow so the dogs can tear around their enclosed outdoor yard. Carol has really crafted a special space to nurture and train dogs while getting their zoomies out safely. I’ll always recommend FTK for daycare and boarding.

Have taken my puppy to three classes here, the head trainer is fantastic and very friendly, knowledgeable and personable; her assistants you can tell really know what they are doing too. Family friendly business, rates are good and not overpriced, great make up policy and she also offers doggie day care and boarding. Highly recommend.

We’ve been going here since moving to Farmington August 2021. Since then we’ve experienced 3 price increases. Receiving the below email left a poor taste in my mouth. I have seen multiple people’s comments deleted from their social media pages if anyone questioned anything they didn’t want to address since this email. Such a slap in the face to customers who have been going here for years.Below is the email I received in March in quotes and my responses with a dash:“As most of you are aware the economy is getting tighter everyday. Lack of employees, trucking issues, over seas shipping issues, upcoming elections, and of course higher taxes.”— The economy is better now than it was a year ago... Why was this mentioned?? 🚩 This feels like you’re perpetuating a certain narrative like it’s the economy’s fault for the below issues.— Trucking / over seas shipping issues… To me this should only impact INVENTORY, so if you’re out of something then you’re out of something. What happens when a pet store doesn’t have my dogs food? I go to another until I find the specific brand that I need.— Upcoming elections… YEP! I totally see why that would impact a dog kennel business 😐 Say no more, makes total sense to me. I assume the prices would magically lower if Trump was in office, huh?“The cost of employees has increased considerably over the last two years. We are so indebted to staff and want to keep the staff we have as they are excellent and we could not be more proud of the team we have built.”— I don’t know what to say about this, every time I drop off my dog there’s high schoolers working and likely an adult at the front counter..“Raising pricing across the board to accommodate the increases is where we find ourselves. We hope that by offering specials and the memberships that some of the increases will be offset for many of our regular clients.”— If you’re raising prices you MUST be raising wages too right? Because if not this is coming across as any other greedy business trying to squeeze the people of every dollar and cent they can. Multiple people have asked this on Facebook and they have chosen to delete the comment instead of respond.— The membership… this is outrageously priced for what you’re getting, these prices don’t include regular boarding so I really don’t know how anyone is expected to save anything unless you’re regularly taking your dog to this kennel most days out of the week.“We appreciate your understanding and dedication to our business.”— I do not understand at all, this email made you loose me as a customer… One thing I appreciate about Dog Day Getaway, an Apple Valley Competitor, is their transparency to their customers.

We boarded our dogs here for a week over Thanksgiving. We used to board them in Burnsville but since this is MUCH closer we thought we'd give it a try. We first brought them to daycare a few times to make sure things went well and that the dogs liked it and we liked it. They take pictures of our dogs and they have a little profile where you can see them, but they put a lot more on their Facebook page.I must say that during pickup I was so so happy and impressed. While our dogs were happy to see us...it's like they didn't want to go!!! Haha we are all very happy about our experience and the owners and staff are awesome.

Brought my dog here for the first time. From setting up the appointment to picking him up - it was a breeze with the friendly staff. The groomers did an AMAZING job! Will highly recommend!

Fissan is amazing, i have two pups(labs) that we take there 2-3 times a week. They are so excited to go every time we load up and are so well taken care of when they are there. I am the type of owner that has always been hesitant about doggy day care and or boarding. My dogs are my kids, i would recommend Fissan to everyone.

We have boarded our three dogs now several times at FTK. The dogs have been well cared for and the facility is immaculate. Our puppy Ben not only smiles when we drop him off but is smiling and worn out when we pick him up. As a puppy the ability to socialize with many different breeds and sizes of dogs under owners diligent oversight has been invaluable for us. I recommend you stop in and speak with Carol and Rob the owners. Think you will leave feeling good about the care provided to our most important family members.

First time experience. I took my 2 year old Shitzu there this weekend to get groomed. The place I have been taking him was full until the end of January. I will tell anyone that is looking for an absolutely wonderful place, staff etc. They are amazing. I will not be taking my baby anywhere else again. Alayna the groomer is so loving and amazing. She seen things in my Odie that I had no idea were going on. I highly recommend if you love your pet. You will not find a more caring staff. Thank you Fissan Farmington.❤️

We have two Aussies and we have brought them both to puppy class and they have been so helpful and the grooming is phenomenal!! We have to puppy classes before and never experienced anything like this. Not only do they understand dogs they understand people so they train you to train your dogs!!

We recently adopted a dog and brought him in for a one on one session to address some training needs. Within the hour we had made more progress than we could have ever imagined. We've received many comments while out for walks about how well behaved our dog is. We're excited to be bringing him to the group class that starts soon, and to bring him in for daycare. You can tell the owners have a passion for dogs, and that shows through in the quality of care they provide. I can't recommend this place enough!

We love Fissan Training Kennels! When we drop our puppy off for day care we know he is in good hands and don’t have worry about him! We love checking Facebook throughout the day for photo/video updates. They got to know our puppy, worked on manners with him and gave great feedback for what we could work on with him! He also does training classes there and you can tell they love what they do and are great at it. They are always very responsive and accommodating. Thank you for all you do Fissan!

This place is a hidden gem in Farmington! I got my puppy at about the same time that Fissan Training Kennels was opening and it has turned out to be such a great find! We enrolled in puppy training here, have done daycare (almost weekly because he loves it so much) and have boarded him here for a weekend. He gets so excited when the car pulls into the parking lots and that is the piece of mind every pet owner wants when someone is going to be spending time around their pet and caring for them. Carol and Rob love what they do and it shows in everything they’re doing here. I cannot recommend this place enough!

We decided on a last minute trip (like 3 day notice) that required a boarding reservation for 2 dogs, 2 nights. Our usual route was booked, andFissan was able to accommodate us last minute at a price that was less than half our usual. Facility was nice and clean, dogs were happy and tired, and we were happy to meet one of the owners and support a local business. We’ll be back!

We boarded out German shepherd over the weekend while we were out of town. We didn't have to worry about him at all! Super professional people that really seem to know how to handle dogs. Reasonable prices as well. We also got to bring him in beforehand to see how he would do and i really appreciated that. Would definitely bring my dog there again and recommend to other people

We have been boarding our boxer puppy to Fissan this summer, they are great. Our puppy is well taken care of and the staff is very nice. I have no guilt when I drop him off, I know he is well taken care of.

My wife suggested we bring our chocolate lab Nino here for some obedience training. I was blown away by the level of professionalism. Carol is a very knowledgeable and caring trainer. We will bring our dogs here as long as they stay open.

I Payed in full for puppy playtime, 10 1/2 hour sessions for $90. When I would arrive for my designated time I only got a few minnuts, one time only five minnuts. Verry dissapointing.
