Waiting on the phone leaves something to be desired, but as someone who works in the service industry, please give these guys a break. When picking up any meds, this cvs has some of the most friendly and helpful employees I’ve encountered at almost any pharmacy. This pharmacy really doesn’t deserve as bad of a wrap as it’s gotten recently.

Terrible!!! After getting through their phone system you sit on hold for well over half an hour without Ever getting to talk with a live person (screen shots to prove it). And who wants to constantly hear that stupid music and repeated vaccines info?!?! Day after Day! In store, you need to stand there forever and may not get helped either. Sit in the drive-thru to request a refill? How dumb!Other people are in the drive-thru to actually get their meds. Going to CVS Farmington is as bad as being in the waiting room of an ER. Not all meds can be renewed via the app. I have the app. You talk to a person at the front of the store and they tell you they're busy. Duh! CVS, Make CHANGES!!!

One of the few good things about this CVS is the convenience, I have not had the best experience with the workers and if you call you will be on hold forever .

1 hour 13 min WAIT ON HOLD ( doesn’t tell you where you are in the Que) after trying to use the automated system ( which does not give all the info one needs… only the price! Doesn’t say: was this processed through ins? What is the pill count for this price? Milligrams?WHILE on this long hold I DROVE to the store and their was NOBODY IN LINE!!!!!!! 😡😡 Then to find out no, it wasn’t put through my insurance YET I made a special trip there a week earlier to request that everything go through my insurance and the lead pharmacist himself said he fixed the issue! 😡😡😡

Sat on hold for over an hr. And still no answer from the pharmacy. I understand understaffed. But we at least acknowledged phone calls and asked them to hold. I never even got a person for over an hr.

Honestly, I would give zero stars if I could. The pharmacy is VERY busy at this location. There has definitely been a consistent staffing issue. Don't plan on picking up prescriptions same day. This place functions well as a corner store but since the pharmacy is the primary function it gets one star.

Yesterday I Could not get through on the phone. Today I drove down in person And stood there for several minutes waiting for the pharmacist to get off the phone, only to have the pharmacy tell me he could not help me because he was going to lunch. I was the only customer there and simply had a quick question. I simply wanted to know why they gave me a 6 day supply of my meds instead of 90, and was only going to ask them to correct that and I would come back later to pick it up. Would have taken 2 minutes. On several occasions I have tried to call them only to have them not answer the phone. On several occasions I have stopped in there only to find out they're at lunch. And I don't know if I've ever paid the same price twice for my prescriptions. But they really got under my skin today when I was the only one there and they said they couldn't help me because he was going to launch. Had I done that at any of my jobs I would have been fired on the spot.

I just have to give a shout out to the new Pharmacy Tech at the drive up window! I was ready to switch pharmacies because it was always a slow painful experience. The past two visits there has-been a new tech that is On Top of everything! I can't thank you enough for this change. They are quick and efficient but friendly as well. Kudos to your new hire!!

The pharmacy "supervisor" is extremely unprofessional and rude. He needs customer service training, lacks people skills and does not follow privacy rules. He said he is the pharmacy manager and no one is above him. He should learn how to talk to people and about their medications with respect and privacy.

Why does the entire pharmacy have to take lunch at the same exact time? They close from 1:30 to 2:00 pm every day. They must have 5 or 6 people working back there at most times when they are open. I haven't seen this type of policy except at 1 person shops. On the plus side, they are friendly and courteous most of the time in my experience.

Needed to transfer a prescription & pick up fairly quickly yesterday but didn't have high hopes it could get done. My call was answered right away in the pharmacy by a very friendly lady who was able to get the transfer done in about 30 mins. Yay! When we picked up, we were greeted immediately by another gal who was attentive and very friendly as well. There's something about going somewhere where there will be a friendly face and demeanor even for a simple transaction. Thank you, Farmington CVS pharmacy staff.

I had prescriptions that were sent to the wrong CVS 3/23/2022 and the staff at the drive up window went the extra mile to get them switched to this pharmacy and I only waited 5 minutes and they were ready to pick up. She was professional, friendly, helpful and in a world where everyone complains, I just want to say thank you for the great service!!!

I recently stopped in here quick for a couple of items. When I was checking out I was asked about my phone number for the rewards program I said I was already enrolled. The cashier helping me, Nathan said it doesn’t look like you are we can sign you up so you start getting points today. I was in a hurry said sure gave him my number again and he scanned my products. I inserted my card and then he said your all set. Then scanned my stuff again and had me put my card in again, I asked what for he said the first one was tying the rewards to your card. I said I don’t want anything that’s going to cost me money he pointed at the thing on the counter and said nope these are free… get home to see my receipt that I’ll be charged monthly for carepass. I didn’t want it, I asked if it would cost me anything and he lied and deceptively led me to it. 45 mins of questions and asking to be canceled on the phone finally successful! Be careful what you’re signing up for as things aren’t being explained and misleading by some signing you up!

This CVS pharmacy gets a 10 across-the-board! Donna, the store manager, is so knowledgeable and helpful! Also, the young man that checked me out, was named Vinny, and he was also extremely amazing and helpful! Thank you Farmington CVS!

My wife has to take a special injection for her medical needs. We normally use hyvee for all of our prescription needs, but this one our insurance told us we needed CVS to fill it from now on. Hyvee was nice enough to fax over the prescription to CVS. When my wife tried to get the prescription filled she was told they couldn't fill the prescription it had to be from CVS specialty. She asked to have her prescription faxed there and was told they don't do that. She called hyvee to have them fax it, but they no longer have it because it was sent to CVS. She then had to return to her Dr to have the prescription sent to CVS specialty. She's in constant pain now for new years eve. Great job CVS, NOT! Totally dropped the ball and obviously by the ratings don't care.

New voice system is ridiculous. I tried 6 times to request a refill that I need filled today but the tin voice said it will be ready on July 31 and there was no way to get it to change the pick up day. The damn voice hung up on me 5 times. I have spent 15 minutes on a call that should have lasted 2 minutes tops and it won’t change the pick up date. This happens every time I try to refill a prescription. The voice system is a major failure. Not only is it difficult to navigate but now it’s taken away my privacy because of having to give verbal answers so everyone around me hears me. You need to give customers an option of conversing with a computer generated voice or use the key pad. Your system causes a lot of frustration and anxiety. I hate it and am seriously thinking of moving my prescriptions to a different pharmacy.

I have had the pleasure of encountering your employee Kelly on 2 recent visits to the Pilot Knob CVS. The first time she helped me check out. She was very friendly, upbeat, and helpful and made sure I used all of the discounts available to me. Today I overheard her talking to another employee. She said she would empty the outside trash bins before the next shift came on because she knows it is hard for them to physically do it. She said we are all family! As I was driving out of the parking lot I saw Kelly empting the trash bins. I took a moment to tell her what a great work ethic she has and said how empressed I was by her. I wanted to make sure she is recognized for the great employee she is. They are hard to find!

Dear gray haired male employee (manager?) who woke up on the wrong side of bed: we all have feelings, not just you. We all have bad days, not just you. Adults don't like getting yelled at like they're children. Learn some manners, please.BTW: When you finally "helped" me you took out the coupon that should have been applied to my purchase so I ended up paying more in addition to enduring your rudeness. I have been on the phone waiting today. The first time I looked up the sight it was busy. I waited on the phone for 25 minutes. I hung up. Called back when it said it wasn't so busy, waited on the phone for 30 minutes . Hung up. You need to hire more people. This is absolutely not acceptable. You had called me and left a message. One of the messages said I had a prescription to pick up at 936 Willow Rd Northbrook, Illinois. I need to know that this isn't real. Also I had a question about the prescription I'm supposed to pick up.Unbelievable!!!

I have been getting my prescriptions filled there for a few years. I use the app, I try to manage them closely. Even with the effort I put into it, and it is regular and constant, the app get's them messed up. I get things set up on readyflll, then they are not. I have to set them up again. If the prescription needs renewal, the exact same med, same dose, everything the same with just a renewed prescription, I have to go through the process of setting it up again. They don't tell you, so you have to watch it closely or you won't get your meds. Seriously, what a pain! My wife goes to Walgreens, never has these issues. I'm switching. What's the point of going to the same place all the time. If your getting bad customer service, you might as well go through the hassle of switching to a new company. I've had enough with CVS, they can't seem to get it right.

Called in prescription yesterday said it would be ready by noon it’s 5 o’clock the next day and it’s still not ready!Sue is amazing and can’t do everything on her own. It’s a crock that my insurance won’t let me get it anywhere else. I can’t believe they’re busy enough that they get this far behind with the terrible customer service. I also can’t believe Sue still works in this high pressure situation!The Voice recognition prescription order system is a joke. And so was the texting program when they tell you to come get your prescription after you’ve already picked it up.You can’t make this stuff up!

In the past 2 months I have had 2 very painful surgical procedures. My surgeon prescribed opioids to manage my pain short term. The first time my husband went to pick up my rx, the pharmacist (Susan or Sue) explained to my husband that they had not filled it because she didn’t believe it was a legitimate prescription. They filled it after I asked my surgeon to call them. The second surgery, my doc prescribed 2 different opioids. Again, (Susan or Sue) deemed my prescriptions unnecessary and called to discuss with an on call doc who has no knowledge of my history. The next day my surgeon called and advised them to fill both prescriptions. By this time my pain was intractable. I have never experienced such incompetency from a pharmacist and I will never again fill another prescription through this pharmacy.

THE WORSE PHARMACY TO GO TO AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!!! I was a long time customer at the family fresh pharmacy. When they closed i was referred to this location of cvs and has been a horrible experience from day 1. I decided that they were probably busy from them taking on all the family fresh customers and decided to give them another chance. Bad idea .Instead of notifying me that they were out of a prescription and that it was on back order they just plain and simple didnt fill it with out any notice. Never going back there again for anything .

Heinous. Just Heinous. Atrocious. Despicable. On hold for 1 hour 30 minutes. Hung up and called later. On hold for 2 hours 20 minutes. Called 'front of store'. They said pharmacy was busy and would check with them on our prescription and call us back. No call back. Pharmacy staff just chooses not to answer the phone an doesn't care about the customers. A competitor should open next store and put this place out of business.

Staff is always helpful, I'm not gonna rate low cuz they're understaffed sometimes or due to high drug prices the people who work there don't control that. But they do control there attitude helpfulness and compassion and of that they have plenty to spare. 10/10 would shop again

Hope you have unlimited minutes if you call. 25 min on hold. Only started going there bc family Fresh closed. 1st time got my regular 3 scripts was over $70. At old fam fresh was about 25. Found coupons for next time...they didn't sound happy when I told them of price for one of my meds was much less than their price.

We drove from Rochester to pick up baby formula for my grandson because there was none to be found in Rochester, CVS Farmington only had 1 container, Kelly made a couple calls and found us 2 more containers, Customer Service gets a 10Thanks Kelly
