I have been here a few times with my cat in the last couple years. Dr. Candace, Sarah, and Trish (and the other staff) are wonderful. I love the balance of people skills and professional services. Our little pup is getting old 15 and needed a surgery. He recovered nicely after the work. The pic is him wearing a shirt to protect the stitches. Though it was expensive, the estimate clearly showed where the money was going and the actual bill was less than the estimate because they completed the work quickly. While it's never "fun" to visit the doctor, I felt this clinic had the skills for fluffy and charged fairly. I'll bring him back. Recommend.

overall we love heartland vet clinic but our experience this past visit was terrible. dr o’brien has no manners chomping on her gum made our dog yip a few times while giving shots which has never happened in past with other vets. we will never ask or agree to seeing her again

Super kind staff. Lots of love for the animals! Sent me home with loads of info about how to look more into figuring out allergies my pup may have (because dealing with underlying allergies will likely equal less ear problems which is why i brought him in). And a super sweet staff called me a few days later to check in on how my pups ears were doing. We will be bringing our other kids(pets) there for care for sure!

Very friendly and caring staff. We had to put our 14 year old dog down, cause she was so sick, and they were very caring and loving. We have also took our dogs there for appointments and they are great with the dogs, especially our new puppy who is full of energy.

Moved the care for our pets to Countryside Animal Hospital! In March we lost our 10 year old cat Harley. We brought him in when he was sick, but Heartland could not answer questions with any certainty as to what was wrong other than stating they “believed” it was a form of cancer, a mast cell tumor.Received a second opinion from Countryside of E-coli, but after a couple of weeks with treatment, Harley didn’t make it! Countryside was wonderful throughout Harley’s illness and subsequent death!Working with Countryside raised questions about Harley’s treatment at Heartland that will never be answered! We notified Heartland to transfer our other pets records to Countryside, notifying them that Harley had died and never heard another word from them!

Dr Anna is wonderful! She as well as the staff are up front with prices. She is very good at spotting, sharing and teaching owner about what's wrong and what to do about the issue. Owatonna office is extremely clean, updated and in good repair. They have on call staff until 10pm. This is very important to me. I like that reassurance that my pets needs can be addressed. I think the cost is not to high. I plan to change all my pets to this office.

I had a black lab who is about to turn 14 years old and he was struggling with some issues. I was having problems finding a vet appointment in the very near future for fear he was not going to make it. Heartland told me to call right away in the morning when they open and see if They could squeeze me in so I called in the morning they were able to fit me in so I went in and got some horrible news about my dog. I took him home that day brought him in in the morning and had him put to sleep. Candace And her staff could not have been more accommodating Have more patience or be more compassionate. When it comes time that I’m ready to buy another dog, there will be no doubt in my mind as to where I will bring my pet. Thank you Candace for making an impossibly difficult situation just a little more manageable.Thanks again, Kristian Robicheau

This place is great and well priced. They are always kind and upfront on cost. All my dogs have felt immediately comfortable there with any of their staff every time. I think my dogs would love to hang out and socialize all day with other dogs if they could.

Showed up for our first appointment, they said I had called in the day before to reschedule but I clearly did not. So is this how they treat new customers obviously they have plenty and don’t care. I went home thinking if they are that unorganized then maybe it’s gods blessing for me to move on to a different Vet.
