I am so disappointed in McDonalds. Hate there not being person to person with orders and service! Only have two things I prefer to eat! Atmosphere is the worst! Don't like not being able to get my own napkins, ketchup, drinks! ( Asked for ketchup and got one pack for each, one napkin each) The person delivering our meal, said nothing, put down the tray and walked away, without even a smile! The only reason we stop is Grandchildren, and there space isn't friendly either! Having to have special apps in order to get a deal is also WRONG!

Clean and spacious McD, with friendly staff. Well maintained restrooms. There is touch screen kiosks available for placing the orders. They even have fall decorations throughout, giving the place nice positive ambience.

We ordered:One two cheeseburger meal with a Dr pepperone cheeseburgerand one plain cheeseburgerand one caramel frappe...When we paid for the meal it was $12 change we went to the except the food window, and the fella Canada the Dr pepper our bag and then a caramel frappe and we started drive off, looked in the bag and noticed that there were only two cheeseburgers of which one was a regular one and one was a plain one one fry. We were blatantly missing two regular cheeseburgers. And we said that we are missing two regular cheeseburgers we stated we ordered exactly what we wanted. It was not our fault that the person taking the order did not comprehend plane simple English. A little African American girl came to the window and was trying to explain to us that are ticket only stated Burger meal a plain cheeseburger. We know how the system works, we're not a couple of idiots. She was trying to explain that we needed to go either pay for the other burgers or she was going to call the cops. Very disheartening to see somebody so condensing and in a managerial position trying to explain to us how the menu and cash register and her employees work at McDonald's. Disgusting behavior mediocre food terrible management. Bad training. How she should have handle the situation, is to apologize on McDonald's behalf of not getting the order correct and giving us our two cheeseburgers that we ordered in the first place. It was correct on the screen when we pulled up to the window to pay how it got screwed up from the time we pulled up and away from the window to the pay window is beyond us and technically not our problem. And she wanted us to pay for two more cheeseburgers. She's missing the whole principle of the point she's wrong. She needs more training.

I liked it, but they take a while to get my change because they didn't have any in the casheir. Plus some of the chicken nugget had something hard in it, but everything else was good.

Easily 5 stars for a McDonalds. Always clean, always fast, always kind or even very kind staff. It’s McDonalds so you should be able to expect what you will get, this location is one that does it consistently well. Probably the most frequented business in Fairmont, MN, so the drive through can get full for it being a small town, but moves so fast it’s not a big deal. The inside can get quite full at rush times though, and as someone who doesn’t love eating McDonald’s with a dozen or two people watching me I tend to avoid the inside - usually clean though. Overall simply one of the best of the many McDonalds locations I've visited in my life.
