Super clean, pharmacy is efficient, great selection in deli and bakery with fresh hot food.The only issue I have is trying to find things to me for I'm used to shopping the layout messes me up but other than that I love the store and even the people that shop there are super nice! So yes, as Hy-Vees go I really like this one.

This Hy-Vee is alright, as long as I already need to be in Fairmont. Estherville Hy-Vee has employees who are way more helpful and the deals are always better.

Very nice store with all your needs and more. My experience is there isn't a helpful smile in every aisle. Know what you need to get and where it's located otherwise good luck finding that helpful employee.

I used to love this store... However Friday Jan 20th. At the self checkout I scanned all my groceries and paid full price only to have the man standing there... Who was an employee... Come and take my receipt... He looked at it and at all the items in my bag...NO I WAS NOT STEALING. And that man violated my privacy...I paid every penny that was due. Not every one is a thief. I am not. As you well found out when you checked everything and I asked you.."Is this what you do to all of us now?"

They offer grocery pick up which is great and they have quite a variety of different food items and drinks. Their water dispenser machine is not all the way to the back of the store like most places. Staff is friendly and they offer the fuel saver discount program as well as other programs. Would highly recommend!

I will never recommend the catering or bakery for any event again! They were hired to cater a wedding and bake the wedding cake. They did not set out the buffet lines as instructed and when asked to correct it and set it up the way it was supposed to be. I turned my back to answer a question and when I turned back around they were leaving the parking lot of the venue. They just left! So we set up the buffet lines the way it was supposed to be! And come to find out they did not leave us any serving spoons or tongs! They were called and finally brought out serving spoons but no tongs. Thank goodness we knew someone that was camping at the venue and borrowed tongs from her! Then was asked by the bride where the gravy was! They didn’t make any! What little they did provide for food which was just salad, mashed potatoes, and green beans, and supposed to be gravy the service was garbage but still had to pay full price! The bakery said they didn’t have an order for a wedding cake twice and didn’t have the cake topper which was dropped off. Phone call was placed on Friday(day before wedding) to confirm the time of the cake pick up. They didn’t have the cake order or cake topper! So Friday there was that issue. But they finally found the cake topper and we had a cake at the reception at 5pm. Not even sure if it was the right cake! By this point it wouldn’t surprise me at all if it wasn’t! Just really disappointed in the service and the quality of services that were paid for and did not receive! So from now on I personally will NOT recommend Hy-Vee Fairmont for anything.

Every time I order groceries online I get a stream of texts from staff telling me what they don’t have in stock and what can they replace it with. If I wanted something else, I’d have ordered that! Happens every time. 3 meals have been made not possible because they don’t have the items in stock and they’re nothing out of the ordinary. When shopping online, it should say if it’s not available. Sort it out!

I like shopping at Hy-vee. To be honest with you there are sale items I'm pretty great be qubecause of how every how expensive everything is these days. I do I do not do all my shopping at hy-vee. I go quite a few places to get the best bucks for my dollar.. But I do love hy-vee

I like Hy-Vee meat, it's the only grocery store I will buy meat from when I can't make it to a butcher shop. The steaks were fabulous!! Great quality meat for a grocery store. I never buy meat from any other grocery store. Like I said our family prefers butcher shops and hand picking our meats, but Hy-Vee meat is up there in quality!

They had great sales! 5 for $20 on different meat packages and twice baked potatoes. Some pops were $7.48 a case. Even though they were out of what I needed. Everything was great...until the cashier. He asked if I knew what I had on ebt card. I wasn't exactly sure. He said that's okay it just told me. ($55.58) So he said that amount was taken from my ebt card, and the rest was put on my credit card. WRONG! It was ALL put on my credit card. The reason I know is because I had that exact amount yesterday when I went to Wal Mart. So instead of going back to hy - vee, I went to Wal Mart! And I don't care for Wally Ward!
