With their limited staff the easily get overwhelmed by customers looking for minnows. I felt the crappie minnows we received were a good sized “scoop” but they were running small in size this year. Bought them in two different stops and they caught us our limits+ in also small sized crappies on Lake Emily. They were out of stock on both plain white and also gold jig heads. I like the 1/16 & 1/8 Oz ones without the red eyes with the larger crappie sized hooks (not walleye sizes).

Can buy bullets bait and beer in one small shop? Feels good just doing that. For a small shop the selection of fishing gear is impressive. Been coming here regularly on a seasonal basis for over 20 years now. My favorite store as a boy and that hasn't changed. Love this place.

Great little sport and liquor shop. The lodge at our resort was closed but we were able to grab fishing licenses and beverages here. Friendly service!
