Lake Country Food and Gas is a good "Up North" grocery store, liquor store and gas station that has the staples for your trip to the cabin or the last minute necessities. Their gas is reasonable and their grocery items are all you need for the weekend or week. I have shopped here many time and have been satisfied with each visit. They may not have all the items that a big box store has, but they have every thing I need when I stop in.

We stopped here while on vacation for groceries. They had a really good selection for as small as they are. The staff was really friendly.

Advertised Sale items frequently out of stock, or not stocked at all. Sale items that were available, rung up at regular price ( this week and last week), rather than at the advertised sale prices. Corrections made without apology, only mild irritation for the extra bother. Poor business practice will drive this long-term customer elsewhere - Dollar General?

I was recently in and did a little shopping. Turns up most of the food I bought was expired.Yogurt was 9 days expiredGallon of O.J. 7 days expiredGallon of milk 4 days expiredand multiple other canned/boxed food well past the" best if used by date"When I called she said I should have checked the dates before I bought it.

The steaks and other meat is the best around.Steaks melt in your mouth. Homemade meat loaf!Don't forget Johnny salt to add to them and every thing else. Wow this stuff is amazingWill buy meat no where else!!

Lots of stuff was either close to or past expiration date. Milk and meat. The garlic was rotting and the selection of vegetables was lacking. The store was otherwise clean and bright and the staff was friendly.

There was no milk here and only spreadable cream cheese instead of cream cheese blocks. On holiday weekends everything is the store seems to be under stocked.

Never been treated so poorly the meat cutter there started a confrontation with me infront of my grandmother all over me not working there this is a small town and this company is ran by big wigs that do not give back to are community I will never give them a dime I hope this company fails
