7 of us stopped in for breakfast. Not a fancy place but it was clean. Service was prompt. Menu was small, which was great as too often menus with many offerings is confusing. Food was very good. Omelets and pancakes were huge. Fresh ingredients too! Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. Three of us ordered the Everything Omelet and it was very good.

Generous portions! Omelets , stuffed hash browns & pancakes were great . We left at 1:06 and two farmers came in to eat and they sent them away. I understand they closed at 1pm but a couple had just come in at 12:59. As someone who worked years in the restaurant industry, I do feel they should have asked the farmers to order right away and take them.

Loved this place, highly recommend the stuffed hashbrowns with an over easy egg on top for anyone really hungry. Otherwise it's plenty to share and maybe get pancakes.

Very nice. Good food and a lovely waitress. Fair prices. But hours are only 7am till 1 pm for fall and winter season. Clean restaurant. Looking forward to trying the chicken.

4 of us ate there last Wednesday. The two ladies were clearly more interested in serving their local friends. Waited forever for a menu, were told we could sit anywhere, then asked to move to a 4 person table and they weren’t busy. The one who seemed to be in charge was rude. The two piece chicken breast was dry dry dry. We won’t eat there again.

We had breakfast there and our waitress Tori saved the day!We arrived to find only 2 tables open and 2 other parties waiting for tables.Tori was able to seat us immediately and said that she and the cook were the only staff working.She got us our drinks and took our order. We watched her take orders, fill coffee cups, take payments and bring out food continuously.Tori was pleasant and didn't miss a beat the entire time we were there. She also handled take out and answered the phone.The omelettes and coffee were delicious!Tori was our hero since it is the only restaurant open in Emily.

Clean local diner. Had breakfast there this morning. Breakfast burrito special was excellent! Husband’s French Toast was delicious, as well. Tomato juice wasn’t cold, like we prefer, but we asked our server for ice and she accommodated us. Server was working the floor solo, and stayed busy - she was attentive to all customers. We’d had a bad experience here awhile back and had not returned. Based upon today’s experience, we will be back!

Very small restaurant and share restroom men/women. Yep. Good pancakes. Jumbo! Unbelievable... siza as plate and thicker. I couldn't eat whole. Next time, I will order 1 pancake instead 2.

Came in for breakfast and I ordered a Denver omelette and received a Denver scrambled. So I asked waitress why and she then told me that they don't have one on the menu. Asked her why she didn't correct me and was told that I didn't say omelette and walked away. My brother ordered one pancakeand it was still raw in the middle. Food was either over cooked or under cooked. Less then adequate service and food. Never coming back.

We have eaten here many times - we usually stop for breakfast. We have picked up their chicken dinners to take home - call ahead to save waiting. The food is okay and the prices are fair and the waitresses are attentive.

Have been going to this "location" for years and have always had a positive experience, but with it now becoming the new location for the Diner's Chicken Shack they seem to have more of a focus on customer service. Nothing fancy here just great food, quality service, at a very fair price.

Customer service was excellent. My friend ordered chicken, she apparently knows that the chicken here is great. I order fish, that too was excellent. Prices are compatible with other restaurants.

Diners is a great small town restaurant in north central Minnesota. They have a great breakfast menu and a good lunch/dinner menu also. They are known for their broasted chicken, and I suggest you have some. The dining space is not large, so you might have a short wait to get a table. But I think it is worth a short wait for a good dinner that they serve. A few things beside the chicken, the breakfast loaded hashbrowns are huge and you will be having them for another meal because you will need a takeout box! Definitely well worth the money when you stop here!

Always stop in here for breakfast when we are in the Emily/Outing area. So bummed they don't have the biscuits and gravy anymore. Perfect Up North diner atmosphere
