I would highly recommend her for all your pet needs!We have boarded our dog with April, when we went on vacation this spring. Enzo was happy and well taken care of. She offers a great location in a family setting.While he was there, April was able to change his diet to decrease shedding, and farting. Now he is looking better than ever and I can take him for car rides without being gassed out.If you are looking for someone to guide your dog to better health and obedience, this is the first place to start.Check out her store, she carries wide range of top quality cat and dog food, treats and more. Great new shop that sells all your dog and cat needs. They just moved in and opened and only sell the best food and toys for my dogs and cat. Great staff and friendly service. Prices are lower than the other pet stores in town too. Planning to become a regular

Our elderly dog with some health/mobility issues stayed here back in Nov/Dec 2023 for about a week it went well. She was well taken care of and given her own space due to her issues. Coming back soon for another visit. Thanks so much, appreciate you!

April is the best dog trainer around! Very reliable, helpful, and passionate about the dogs and families she helps. I was turned away from so many trainers because my dog looks like a pitbull, but April accepted us with open arms. Not only is she willing to work with all different breeds, she is also knowledgeable about them. She has equipped us with the tools necessary to have a happy, healthy, and well trained dog. We will definitely continue to go to April with anything and everything related to our dog.

We have gone through the Basic Obedience Training class and have decided to continue our training with Shooting Star Services. April is fantastic with the dogs and humans. She’s knowledgeable, reliable and offers a variety of classes. We look forward to continuing our training with our dog with hopes of getting him Therapy Dog certified. I have no doubts that with April’s help we will get there.

My baby Kora is half aussi half blue healer and she has a condition called cerebellar hypoplasia. Due to her condition both kora and I have a very difficult time trusting anybody to watch her while I have to travel for work. However I met April face-to-face with kora by my side and she even walked up to her immediately any other time I've looked for dog sitters she has been very skittish and not wanted to let the sitter touch her. Immediately she Propped herself up on April, due to the fact that she can't really jump and immediately began smiling:). At that moment I knew April was the person to watch her. Ever since, she's the only person I go to and the only person I recommend. if you're looking for a sitter(especially if you've got a handicapped baby like myself) or even just general information on what's healthiest to feed your baby, absolutely call April.

We love Shooting Star, we have been boarding our pup with April since summer of 2022. We were boarding our girl at a different place and had a bad experience and we were so nervous but April was so welcoming and had a little meet and greet for her and our pup ahead of a boarding appointment. This helped us so much in knowing that she would be in good hands. Our girl gets so excited to go to 'camp' when it is time for drop off and we are able to go away with peace of mind that our girl is happy and being taken care of. We highly recommend April and Shooting Star Services!

Shooting Star Services came highly recommended when I asked for a dog trainer on Facebook. April responded to me right away and we did some home visits with my border collie mix who had some behavioral issues. Right away I was amazed at how my normally crazy dog listened to her! She worked with us and Rocky made serious improvement. Shooting Star is really full service too! I purchased the right harness and a leash that made a big difference in our walks with Rocky who was a big puller. Very professional, responsive and goes the extra mile to train and care for my fur child. Highly recommend!

We left both of our pups with Shooting Star when we went out West for a week. The dogs were treated as part of the family, and even the one with separation anxiety wasn't ready to come home when we came to get the two dogs, as she was having too much fun. And our puppy came home with some new skills. She now tells us when she needs to go outside and has not had a potty accident in the house since.

April is amazing!!! We have worked with her for training and boarding. She has soooo much patience and love for even the most challenging dogs. She was super accommodating to our boarding needs too, I don't think our doggie even wanted to come back with us. Working with her has been the best experience I have had with a dog trainer!

Great dog trainer. My dog loved going to training. She is patient, and explains what things work, and what things don't and why. Very affordable and flexible. Will be going back for more training. Well, the dog will. I'm already Well enough trained. :-)
