I've had dogs for years and never had such a bad experience.It takes me 20 minutes and 0 dollars to groom my own dog. Just wanted her to have a "spa day" paid like 80 bucks for her to have a bad day.1. Our dog was injured on her paw and on her nose2. They were late in starting her, had a 10am appointment and no one was there, then she was thrown in a kennel for over an hour before getting groomed.3. They up charged us repeatedly and then tried to say we should have paid 15 extra to have her done on an "express" timeline so that it was more reasonable. I guess making a 10am appointment means your dog might get groomed at 12? Why have appointment slots then? It's clearly a scam.4. We paid for the shedding treatment and it accomplished nothing, it seems like they rushed through it and brushed her back but didn't target her neck which is where she usually sheds.Huge waste of money and now my dog is bleeding in the house still and probably will freak out the next time we try to have her groomed.5. If you miss the appointment time, take extra long to complete an easy groom on a well behaved pleasant dog, and send that dog home with an injury you should give some kind of a discount or something. An apology. Anything.

Our recent budgie had past on so I came in for a new friend. Brittany was very helpful and kind in helping get the cage, food, and toys for our new bird friends. Our daughter was so sad that we had lost our last bird, but bringing home these two put a huge smile on her face. Brittany was caring and showed genuine care for the birds we acquired. Link and Azreal are adjusting nicely.

They only price Match when convenient at this location. Have never had an issue price matching at any other location. The store manager seemed condescending and was quick to point to their disclaimer. He stated it needed to be a brick and mortar store and that he'd never heard of them. Lol this man was arrogant enough to believe he's heard of every pet food retailer across the country. As it turns out the sale price I asked him to Match is from a physical pet store. I wasn't going to stand an argue with someone with their arms folded and telling me no rudely. I won't be back. $300 in dog food purchases alone every month for our danes, peanuts to a company this size, but I won't be back.

My mom brought her dog there for the second time for a hair cut and he is not acting right very scared of us when she brought him home acting like he was in trouble when he wasn't wont go to the potty out side no matter how many times she brings him out very scared for some reason reinsuring him that he's a good boy and spoiling him with treats and toys and he still acts like he's in trouble and they cut him way too shorts and pots of his body where he itches very badly came home terrified for some reason don't know what happened and I know they won't tell us they'll just try to cover it up

I'm extremely happy that Petsmart built in Elk River. I've consistently found competitive pricing for a wide selection of quality cat products. The associates have always been extremely polite and knowledgeable( a big plus!).I also regularly bring my long-haired cats to Heidi in the grooming salon. She, alone, makes PetSmart a great experience. I highly recommend her to anyone with any animal in need of grooming; she really is an excellent groomer that goes above and beyond -every time.

Helpful and friendly cashier. Wish all of them could engage the way he did. We were a bind to get our puppy his second booster and went to one of the Pet Smart mobile vaccination days. The group was very professional and treated us and our puppy with patience and care. Overall a very good experience. Thanks Pet Smart!

I've taken my dogs Cooper (great Pyrenees/golden doodle), and Charlie (dachshund/yorkie) to this petsmart regularly for their grooming appointments after trying other places. Even though I live an hour away, the team is worth the trip. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Carol in the grooming department has been a regular person I've dealt with here and I have to say she is a huge reason why I have & will continue to bring my boys here. Alex also did a great job with my more difficult dog today. What a kind and knowledgeable team.

My daughter brought our chocolate lab and German shepherd in for a bath. Carol was the "lucky" one who got to bath them both, she did an amazing job! The shepherd was blowing his coat and I have to say he looks like a new dog! The lab tends to have dry skin and his coat was so soft when we picked him up. They both looked and smelled great! I will definitely be bringing them back!

I’ve taken Lucy to the stores in Rochester, but now live here near Elk River. It’s reassuring to see the positive reviews. I’ve seen horror stories on the news. My dog is sweet so I don’t think she’d frustrate a groomer however I’d feel terrible if she had a bad experience and I’d never know. She gets nervous when I leave. I am looking forward to finding a groomer as good as my previous groomers.

They were able to price match the price from their website which was way cheaper then in store and even found a couple hiding up on a shelf for us to buy more of it for our turtles. Would definitely go back there again as employees were super friendly and helpful.

The workers were nice! Also they always have what we need! We bought fish from there! when we got home we dumped out the water in a different bowl because we thought the water would be a little dirty, but it was a lot dirtier than we thought it would be.

I was just in the Wal*Mart parking lot facing PetSmart. The moon was full very nice photo. Took it and posted it "Moon over PetSmart." However Google keeps on me to write something. So here we are. I hear PetSmart is a nice place. Same for "Chuck & Don's Pet Food & Supplies" just up the road by Cub. Don't know if either has horse food, but the "Tractor Supply Company" does.

I have been bringing my dog to be groomed there for about 3.5 years with no issues. I make an appointment online and even called to confirm the morning of. I arrive, am getting checked in with the tech and another worker walks by and quietly mumbles “no nails on him”. I had to ask if that was for my dog and was then told they can’t cut my dogs nails because he was too aggressive and the tech was rude and dismissive. I completely understand that however, my problem is that no one told me, I had to ask and the last time I picked him up they told me he did great and even tried to sell me a package deal for future grooming appointments. So when was someone going to tell me? After I spent over $100 for this package deal I can’t even use? Super frustrating. I found a local place in Elk River that was not only cheaper but does a much better job, doesn’t keep your dog for 5 hours for an appointment that doesn’t even need a cut. Very disappointed.

This is a great pet smart, being new it is well layed out and the staff keeps it clean.The Cats they had on for adoption considered my dog a great source of entertainment and I believe it is worth the extra drive to go here over the Monticello store.

We absolutely love the young woman manager here (I'm so sorry I forget her name every time) she is always so welcoming to me & my dog "Loki" & he loves seeing her too! She has gave us the best advice needed for my bully & all his issues he's been having & surprisingly from her experiences with her bully, & the advice she gives me for mine; everything has helped! We are blessed to see her every time we go in. She's a god sent! Thank you elk river PetSmart for all the love shown to us from all other staff as well whenever we come in!
