I love Hugo’s! I enjoy going to shopping at this Hugo’s because I alway find items I need. It always seems as if I need to get something really quick they have exactly what I need. The staff are always friendly and go the extra step to help the customers. The store is always clean and ready to help shoppers. There are normally enough cashiers to ensure shoppers aren’t waiting in long lines. They also have the option to scan your items yourself. Hugos has not failed me yet. They always have the freshest produce and quite a variety. I would recommend this place to friends and family. Thank you!

Hugo’s, you need to teach your deli people what a CHICKEN WING IS.I ordered 2 breasts and 2 wings and got 2 legs instead, if HE would have asked if I wanted legs I would have said NO.

We did our wedding cake through Hugo's (as well as donut holes for our reception) in December of 2022 and we were very pleased with what they provided! The cake was beautifully designed to how we had imagined it (we showed them two different pictures of cakes on Pinterest and wanted them to blend the characteristics to create our cake) and it tasted great too (it was moist and flavorful)! We still have people talking about our donut holes, they were delicious (we did not have many left over). The customer service was very friendly as well and the food price was reasonable and affordable which was something that mattered a lot to us.

The most wholesome small town grocery store. The most friendly people work there. I’m always greeted when I go in and the staff always remember me and ask how my day is. Groceries always fresh and there garden/flower section is incredible.

Went through Hugo’s floral and bakery for our wedding cake and flowers. Had so many compliments on how amazing the flowers looked. The cake was also delicious!

Unreal I went to the deli very nice looking chicken. I loves Hugo's chicken. I ordered 3 thighs. They dug underneath and gave me the 3 driest pieces they had. I handed them back to him and told him to keep them. Dang it they where nasty looking.

The prices here are so outrageous I can't believe it. What really caught my eye is they have Krispy Kreme box donuts for $8 which is so outrageous when at Walmart they're $3. Hugo's is a big rip off.

I ordered a birthday cake for my four year old daughter about a week ahead of her birthday. Ordered it that far ahead hoping to get a nice fresh moist cake. Instead I got a disgusting dry cake that tasted like it had been in the freezer for a month. Nobody ate it. I called and complained to the manager and he did have a fresh cake made and it tasted delicious, but then as I was eating a piece, I found a blonde hair. I pulled it out from under the frosting. Terrible. I will never order from Hugo's again.

We used Hugo's bakery for our wedding cake and cupcakes - 10/10 recommend! We had zero cupcakes left at the end of the night and our cake was moist and delicious.

My husband just left there and was very impressed with Cashier Jennifer who had to put up with an absolute terror of a woman in front of him in Jennifer checkout line. The woman was upset that she couldn't remember her own phone number for the rewards program, got mad that the total price didn't show on the pinpad instead of the giant screen by the till, got mad that Jennifer was wearing a mask, and got mad that there was plexiglass up. She seemed to blame Jennifer for it all and she took it like a champ. I would have told her off but I was waiting for my husband in the car. People can be downright inhuman to customer service workers (I am one too) and it takes a great one to let it roll off her shoulders. Keep on smiling, Jennifer!

It appeared all the rotisserie chickens were gone for the evening, but I asked 1 of the ladies behind the counter anyways if there were more. She promptly quit what she was doing and went into the back and within minutes I had a fresh chicken for our supper this evening. I am very grateful that she was so willing to help me out. Thank you from a very tired mama!

Awesome store. Tons of great healthy food options. Fully loaded deli and bakery. Great customer service, always friendly employees. And their Premier Potato Salad or Party Pasta Salad are two of my favorites there. Highly recommend this place.

I bought a ribeye and got home and wasnt in my bag went back to the store 5 minutes later ​and of course nobody seen it i guess at 16.99 someone took it home and is enjoying it hope they enjoy it

The staff here is the friendliest in the Grand Cities. Great organic section. New Caribou Coffee shop and is connected to Hugo's Wine and Spirits. One stop shopping at its finest.

Scolding and demeaning people who take off their mask as they are walking out... I’m done shopping here anymore. Didn’t care for the mask policy, but complied. Took off my mask as I was walking out and had a gal give me the 3rd degree was the final straw. Our family won’t be back. Ever.

After telling the pharmacist their automated pre authorization system isn't sending requests thru he denied me my heart meds in front of several people. He put my health at risk for his ego. I submitted a grievance with my insurance company.

It's close to home and I have shopped here all my life that I have lived in East Grand Forks. They have a variety of everything, and they have just recently updated their whole store so that it is supposedly easier to find stuff. I say supposedly because it's still new and I'm getting used to it but I like it. I preferred to any of the other stores of Hugo's store in Egf and Grand Forks.

Open every day until midnight but the service sucks, no one is friendly, and the prices are too high. There are no other local food stores so the monopoly scene is playing out well for Hugo's.

The pharmacy caught a doctor's error with my medication. I was given medicine I was severely allergic too. They caught it right away and got it fixed. I always come here now.
