We’re even saving money from our previous choice of science diet and our pets are so happy with it! Just be prepared to save some time to thaw the food out, most of it comes driven. Been feeding my Brussels Griffon raw diet from woody's for years. My dogs love it and are always disgustingly healthy. Highly recommend if you choose to go raw, BTW they sell the same food cooked as well.

Not a great place. Not welcoming. I was walking with my dog and as I was going to open the door there was an off leash dog, which I assume is the owners, sitting at the front door barking and growing. So much so that the door was slowly opening by the dog lunging at the glass. Creating a safety concern for myself, my dog, and the public. The owner slowly got up and pulled the dog in the back. She didn't bother to check to see if my dog was bitten. I shop at Chuck & Dons often and wanted to check out other shops. Will definitely not check out this one.

I’ll never feed my cats anything else. If you’ve got a cat with ANY sort of health issue, I encourage you to look into the benefits of a raw diet and consider the switch before trying any of the prescription diets. MaryAnn is amazing, so helpful and kind. Customers for life!

My dogs have been fed Woody's raw food for over 10 years and love it. They are both around 17 years old and in great health. I believe they are so healthy because of their raw diet.

They are very helpful. Cashier even gave me a bunch of free samples to see if my cat would like certain foods. She was honest and didn't have me buy something higher priced to help my cat. Very reasonable honest and friendly place. Even some cats to look at there. Try it at least once to make your pet healthier!

I prefer this location over the Minneapolis Store. Staff here is much friendlier and helpful. Easy to get to from anywhere around the cities. We love the Raw with supplements for our 4 rescue pups. They are leaner, stronger, coats shine better and they love it!

Very pleased with the service here! Walked in and chatted with the person working there, got some samples to take home for my kitties and they LOVED it. 2 days later I was back and buying a 5 lb tub of the chicken to start out my cats on a fully raw diet.I love that this place is local, and it's not so expensive (at least compared to the high quality wet I was feeding, that was breaking the bank!). My cats are happy, healthy and have smaller, less smelly poops. Love this place!

Mary Ann is a wonderful shop keeper. She knows us by name, is always excited to see us and is incredibly helpful. This feels like a small town shop but it is very busy. Their food is fresh and reasonably priced for what it is. They also have great treats and snacks for the animals. Our pets are happy and healthy on their diet. Consult your vet before making drastic changes to your pet's diet.

My German Shepherd was experiencing some dietary issues which prompted us switch over to a raw diet. He has been on a raw diet for 2.5 months now and is doing great! Woody's has been right there to answer all of my questions regarding what food to start him on and what type natural treats I should use. Maryanne is extremely helpful and kind. I highly recommend this place!

Worth every penny! When we found out that our dog’s very expensive dry food was recalled for lead last year we knew we needed to find something different. The lady working at this location was super helpful. We got samples to take home so we could be confident that our dog would enjoy the switch. Our dog LOVES this food. She’s 11 and her fur is the softest it has ever been and she has so much energy. If you are considering making the switch, do it!! You won’t regret it! We go back and forth between the St Paul and MPLS locations based on where we are that day - both have been great!

Woody's Deli is a great place to get healthier options for your pet. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. I have a puppy & a dog agility coach recommended them. They have so many options it was a bit overwhelming at first but with some good explanations & reasonable pricing I was able to get a customized diet that my puppy loves. The have raw, cooked, free range, frozen fresh & foods with and without supplements. They also have the break down of all the foods if your watching calories or wondering about the nutritional breakdown of the foods. They also have bones that make great treats! Real food makes all the difference, highly recommended.

Bad news: Our kittens got sick and refused to eat one batch out of 52 batches of food and Woody's did not take any responsibility for this even though the food had gone bad in just three days time. It had turned green and everything. The food is pricey also.Good news: I'm giving them 3 stars because they are always informative and helpful, they have all the free-range, whole-foods options we could ever want. They even have local organic catnip and most importantly our cats love it. They won't eat canned or dry food after eating raw meat from Woody's. They also love the lamb lung treats.

Owner is not very nice, I’ve been snapped at twice now by her! The star is for the extremely nice people that work at the liquor store next door! Dogs are welcome and the staff are just lovely! So go to Woodys and then go next door and pick up some wine because you’re gonna need it!

Staff is excellent! I feed my small dog raw, but am getting a large puppy. I was concerned I wouldn't be able to afford raw for a 70 pound dog. I asked about the best kibble thinking I would add a little raw and was kindly given the name of the top two. We continued talking and by running the numbers found a way to afford the raw given the cost of a high quality kibble. Always so willing to share information! And never a sell job. Ultimately I've ordered a very small chest freezer and can then buy in bulk and package myself. I am so happy. And so relieved... Love them!

This place is incredible!!! My rescue cat had been losing weight and had chronic intermittent vomiting and diarrhea. I tried SO many different types of wet and dry food for her but after several months nothing was working, so I took her to the vet for a complete workup. Numerous tests were run and all came back normal, so she was given a diagnosis of probable IBD (the only way this can be confirmed is by taking samples of her intestine and I wasn't prepared to go that route). My vet said a lot of their patients had luck with a raw diet and referred me here. I am happy to report my cat's symptoms have completely subsided and she has regained the weight that she lost (which is a good thing because she is a very small kitty). The staff here are so incredibly kind and helpful; the first time I went in they gave me a huge bag of samples to try out. My cat really loves the raw lamb and the Cornish hen!
