What a wonderful clinic/ animal hospital! The staff couldn't have been more kind and empathetic, and they were so gentle with my kitty who hasn't been feeling well.The vet tech took the time to chart my cat's symptoms accurately, and to help her with her anxiety. The doctor explained all options, not pushing for any unnecessary tests,etc. She was very gentle with the exam.I would recommend this clinic to anyone. They made a stressful situation much easier for me and my cat.

I've been a client of Countryside since Dr Rich Lorang opened it. I am happy to say that, even with the change of ownership and later, Rich's retirement, They have never let me or my animals down. They always treat me like I'm their only client and the pet we bring is their family as well as mine. They talk WITH me, not at me, about the diagnosis , treatment options , and prognosis. They treat all the animals from Windmill Animal Rescue as if they were already a cherished pet, not just a shelter animal. Everyone I've referred to them has been very happy...many switching all their pets to Countryside.

Great experience from start to finish! The staff and Drs are friendly and experienced. They offer a cat only entrance that set the tone for our visit. My normally scaredy cat was relaxed the entire time.

I switched to Countryside Animal Hospital at the end of the summer for my Rottweiler. In the past 4 months we have been there numerous times already. The techs and the vets we've met with have always been compassionate and kind to me, and incredibly informative and dedicated to my dog's health issues that were unresolved from our past vet. They can do bloodwork in house, have their own online pharmacy, and are very reasonably priced compared to other vets. My dog was hospitalized for a day and had an Addison's test performed, and my bill was less than $800 - which is what I was quoted just for the test at another vet. Very grateful to all of the folks there.

We started taking our GSD there in May of 2021 when our previous vet couldn't get our girl in for a broken tooth extraction for six weeks and we never looked back.The staff is amazing. Very friendly, very competent, very attentive, very informative, very everything.Rayna was always anxious when we went somewhere new, but every time Dr. Rodman walked into the room, Rayna settled right down like they were old friends. It was amazing to watch. I'd never seen my girl respond to anyone else like that.In September of this year Rayna lost the use of one of her back legs and couldn't move her tail at all. Dr. Rodman gave us all the options and details and gave us time and space to say our goodbyes.We will be forever grateful for the team that made the most heartbreaking decision we could ever make, very easy.

The care is great. However, we paid over $500 for standard vaccinations and check up. This is for one pet, and just one booster shot was $127. I'm not sure if this is normal, but seemed unreasonable. We used to go to Kenyon Vet Clinic and never paid over $300 for all vacs (usually less) and the standard of care in Kenyon is exceptional. It's farther away for us now but apparently worth the drive. I hate to bring this up but feel it needs to be said.

Friendly, efficient care at an affordable cost. We had an emergency situation with our young cat and was fit in at short notice. While keeping the worry at a minimum for me as an the owner, they made sure to cover all the options available and our "what next" if the treatments didn't work so that I wasn't blindsighted. My cat survived and it's due to their quick actions. Highly recommend them for the whole county.

Dr. Rich and staff at Countryside Animal Hospital are Amazing! The pricing is very reasonable and they don't push any unnecessary medications or multiple test/ procedures as other vets do. Dr. Rich and staff are also very knowledgeable and friendly, they handled my dog with great care (even though she was very anxious and excited) Dr. Rich sat right on the floor and played with my dog and got her to calm right down! They took the time to get to know my dog and to answer any of my questions or concerns. Awesome service, great cost, friendly people, and great care for your pets!!I have also recently boarded my dog at their kennel, it was my dogs first time away from home. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, they made her feel at home and took very good care of her. The staff are always very friendly and helpful at both the clinic and the kennels. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

In the past few months, I have had an urgent issue with one of my dogs, and an emergency with another. Everyone that I have dealt with from this clinic has shown genuine care, kindness, and sympathy. The care my dogs have received is beyond anything I could have hoped for, and the cost was below what I had expected. I will recommend this vet to anyone who will listen. Dr. Rich and the staff at Countryside Animal Hospital are fantastic! We've been bringing our family dogs to Countryside for over 15 years. The pricing is incredibly reasonable and they don't push unnecessary medications or multiple tests/procedures as other vets tend to do. The Countryside vets and staff are also very knowledgeable, friendly, and great with the dogs (even when we've had very anxious or stressed dogs). I do not live in Minnesota anymore, although my parents still bring their dogs to Countryside, but I wish I had a vet like Dr. Rich and his staff where I am now! Great service, great cost, great people, and great care for your pets and furry family members!

Countryside Animal hospital has consistently provided excellent care and service for our pets through the years. At this last visit our curious cat needed surgery for a swallowed object and was to be discharged the same day. But Rich decided after checking him over that it would be a good idea to keep him overnight at no charge just to monitor, which was another example of the great customer service we've always received. The follow-up calls were also much appreciated. I would highly recommend Countryside to anyone needing quality vet care, caring staff, and good value.

We LOVE Countryside Animal Hospital! The staff is amazing - super nice and very helpful! They go above and beyond the call of duty for sure. I once called after hours when our 12 week old pup was puking all day and one of the vets called me back and spent about 15-20 minutes on the phone with me try to work through what might be going on. We have been super impressed with the service and care and will continue to bring our dog there fore many years to come :o)

Dr. Trebelhorn is great! She's very knowledgeable, kind, and patient. I had to move an hour away, but I still take my cat to Countryside Animal Hospital. I know I can trust them to take care of my cat, and everyone is very friendly.I also appreciate how they've changed to keep everyone safe in response to Covid-19. You call when you get there, and a vet tech (wearing a mask) will come out and meet you. They ask about your pet and any concerns you have, and then take your pet in. After checking your pet, the vet calls and talks to you about the appointment. The vet transfers you to the front desk to talk about payment. If you pay with a credit card, you can pay over the phone. A vet tech will bring your pet out, and you can go on your way. It's a very smooth process that works well. I'm a very nervous cat owner, but I know I can trust everyone to take good care of my cat. I trust them to look into all of my concerns, even if I'm not in the room.Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this animal hospital!

I have had to take my cat to Countryside on two occasions. Outstanding care provided!!! The staff are the best!!! I believe they genuinely love and care deeply about the animals that they care for. We have been bringing our cats to Countryside for about the past 6 years and the care has always been excellent.We had a very negative experience at our previous clinic, Cannon Valley, so when it became time to choose a new clinic we chose Countryside because our friends recommended them.The clinic has a peaceful atmosphere and smells fresh and clean. The vet's and vet tech's are very skilled, ethical and personable which are all big pluses in my book.

This staff was amazing and very compassionate. This was my first visit to see Dr. Lorang for my very sick chameleon. It's never easy to make a decision in a situation where your pet may have to be euthanized, however, his honesty and willingness to help and offer advice was truly outstanding. He and his staff made this very difficult situation a little easier to handle. Thank you to them.
