we have had the sad news that our dog Gracie has been diagnosed with some sort of cancer. When we arrived at the iron range veterinary clinic for testing, the doctor entered the room and did not introduce herself. Keep in mind what we are going through right now With our dog. We needed to know who we were working with. Our dog has stopped eating and I went in to their clinic yesterday to pick up a prescription that would stimulate her to eat when I got there. I weighed my dog to see if she had lost any more weight, which she hadn’t, so I sat in the waiting room to talk to the doctor. When Dr. Stahl came out of a room with a different client, he finished up with them and totally ignored that I was sitting there waiting to pick up the prescription I needed for Gracie. He asked another client if he could help him, and thank goodness that client said that I had been there waiting. Then I told Dr. Stahl that I was there to pick up a prescription. It was like I was interrupting his day, just very rude. Dr. stall never acknowledged that I was there, never a greating. . In the eight years that we have been their clients, we have given them hundreds and hundreds of dollars. 21 puppies, shots, Du claws , second shots. I feel that we have been not appreciated for the last eight years of business that we have gave to them. And now going Through this tough time in our life, it would be great if they could at least acknowledge us when we go in to their clinic. Tell us your name!!Dr. Stahl. Please be more personable!! Our kitty went downhill rapidly and we got him in for euthanasia. The vet gave him the shot to sedate him and said she'd be back to give the second shot. The cat was scared and trying to get up and stumbling, eyes rolling back we watched in horror our poor kitty. The vet came back in 15 minutes later and said oh I guess I didn't give him enough he should be passed out by now. So she gave him more sedative which finally worked about 5 minutes later. She came back about 15 minutes again and gave him the lethal shot. Not much compassion, just said when your ready pay up front. We got our kitty's ashes back and no compassion still. Every animal we've had euthanized at several other vets through our lives gave us a paw print in plaster or clay type stuff you have to bake and a card. IRVC we got nothing, not a piece of fur with a ribbon, not a card, not even an inked paw print, nothing to show they care.

This is absolutely the best place you can take your favorite member of your family! Form the front desk to the Dr's...they love your family member as it was you! Well never go anywhere else after my emergency visit!Hell they have great coffee for humans...lol5 stars is not enough!!!

Dr. Julia and Dr. Matt are very good doctors. But they both should evaluate their staffs in the front offices. One lady is nice but most of them are super RUDE.

I am not a client but when I called for an emergency for my dog the vet answered any and all of my questions!! She gave me advice on what to do in the meantime and provided me with a lot of reassurance. If I lived closer, they would be my vet!

Dr Stahl & his team were amazing! Our family pet, Ole got into a scuttlebutt and needed repair. They were able to fit us in immediately & explained everything to detail. The bill was surprisingly much lower than that of our regular vet which was a bonus. I am pleased and am considering changing our primary vet service to their practice. Super impressed with the entire team & Uber thankful for taking care of my fur baby!

Sunday Janurary 7th became a very hard emotional day for us... But thanks to the best Vet Dr Fry at the crosby office ..who came to our rescue for an emergency visit for our 15 year old doggy..who all of a sudden started bleeding from her mouth in large amounts ..we usually go to a Vet clinic in our area where we live in Brainerd. But do to them not answering a call and having us triage...and finally a call back after one hour only to tell us we still had to go online to pay 50.00 and be triaged..my husband googled Crosby vets and this clinic came up he called..and she graciously told us to meet her at the clinic ASAP and we did...we didn't get the news that we wanted to hear..and sadly had to say see you later at the rainbow bridge our beautifl girl,, DR Fry was amazing ...so loving and caring and showed such compassion to our sweet baby and to my husband and I ...I highly recommend this facility and her staff to everyone...If down the road we decide on a getting another fur baby ..we will definelty be utilizing their beautiful clinic and services...I can't thank Dr Fry and her assistant enough for her help in this very trying time...our vet that we had for 25 years failed us horribly ..so sad to say ...but its a blessing in a horrible situation that we were led to this Vet and facility.. thank you so much for helping us .. hugs from the grieving parents of Bella boop!

There was an adorable cat with a stegosaurus hair cut in the lobby. The veterans we're kind and gentle we went to get our dogs nails clipped and we were in and out quick.

We had an emergency with our female Chihuahua who was in labor and needed a C-section. Dr. Stahl took our case and did a great job for us delivering one live pup on a Saturday morning during a holiday weekend. We had never used the clinic before but will again and will recommend them.

You deserve better. They are so cheap they make you stay in your vehicle, no reception. Be prepared to wait, even if it is below zero or oppressively hot, your pet and you will wait. Be lucky if they acknowledge you sitting in your vehicle, usually you have to call them. Which lead me to mention coy old reception that argues with about everything and everyone. Todays insult, I needed a travel certificate. Thought their fee was high, in fact double the fee from other. I just retired and need to watch what I spend now. So $50 is enough for me go elsewhere, but makes me think. The vet doesn’t respect clients enough to have a reception room, or honor their appointment times, consider she obviously cares more about the $50 than the relationship that was. You and your pets deserve better, better service & better prices.

My cat needed a rabies vaccine prior to her seeing a groomer, so I called this office to see about setting up an appointment. The woman I dealt with on the phone was so incredibly obnoxious and rude that I simply ended the call. I contacted the Staples veterinary clinic immediately after, and they were very kind and accomodating, and were able to get me scheduled right away. I know that good customer service is becoming a thing of the past in the United States, but if I were the veterinarian who owned the Iron Range clinic, this individual would no longer be employed.

Good treatment of my fur babies.Both have their 3 year rabbies vaccines and their check ups. One cat needs surgery. Other kitty needs hid poor teeth attended to and I'll be bringing them back.

Just the emergency number and got very good advice. I thought I had gave something very bad to my dog. But the doctor reassured me that my dog is going to be fine. Five stars to this but veterinary clinic. Very strongly recommend this clinic.

I don’t normally write reviews, but this place deserves a million stars. My 5 yr old kittie was in terrible pain on Sat night for hours and I thought he was just constipated. After a message to my own vet with no return call, I tried them on a whim. She called me back in 5 min! She and her tech met me at the clinic at midnight on a Saturday. Turns out it was a urinary obstruction.. 1 more day and he would have died. She kept him overnight, loved him and nursed himback to health. She did everything she could to save me money, and sent me home with more than enough supplies to get us through the healing process. He is currently thriving and I have her to thank! It’s a bit of a drive for me but I will only go here from now on. Thank you Iron Range!! ❤️ ❤️

They have fantastic customer service. Our newly adopted dog was having some health issues and I called their on call for some guidance. Dr Iverson was very helpful and told me what we should do. I called back in the morning and Heather was very helpful and got us in same day. They were also very reasonably priced. We will definitely be coming here from now on.

I have never had a bad experience here until today. Dr. Iverson and the clinic staff were incredible, patient, polite, and took time to explain everything, as always. The reason for my poor rating is in regards to the front desk staff. From the time I got to my appointment until I left, the woman I dealt with was extremely rude and demeaning. Her attitude and poor professionalism were so appalling that I left there speechless and embarrassed for her. Never have I been made to feel so incompetent, belittled, or misunderstood. Please do better Iron Range because we love you and don’t want to leave!

I called 11 different clinics, including my own provider and was not able to get an appointment for my dog. I was so worried about my little girl and Iron Range agreed to see us in our hour of need. We were taken care of with love and understanding. I am happy to report my little Molly is on her way to feeling better. This place deserves a million stars. It’s hard to describe shortly the gratitude I have for Dr. Stahl who has been nothing but above and beyond with all of our animals, horses and dogs. We’ve had some emergency and after hour visits and he’s always thorough and kind during scary times. Dr. Fry also deserves a shout out, we recently lost our best bud and Dr. Stahl eased our mind with an after hours visit and then when things got bad later in the week Dr. Fry referred us to exactly what he needed and he received best care, there was even follow up after to send sympathy to our family. This place is amazingVery nice. Handled our situation with care and compassion.We brought our 7yr old papillon gizmo in to Aitkin last night for emergency help with his back and tummy issues and she helped very kindly and educated us on what was going on and did a few things to help him with his pain and his tummy issue.I am very impressed with how she took time to see us basically in the middle of the night on memorial day evening... even helping us with his prescriptions and how and when to use them.Thank you very much.
