I have lots of nice selections for rental boats. Love the ice cream selection in the gift shop. Lots of parts for motors and boats if you have something broken.

They are always helpful and courteous. The ice cream is great on a warm day too!I have been coming up here for many years, about 10 years ago I started using this Marina to put in. They take such good care of us here, that it is hard to consider going anywhere else. The last time we were up here my daughter got a really intense sunburn and the owner did everything she could do to help. They will always be my first call when I'm coming up to the area. I just can't say enough how helpful and friendly everyone is here.

We loved renting our boat (and tube) from Handberg! They were wonderful to deal with. Lori was so friendly and it was such a nice interaction when we would stop for ice cream and bait. They had a wonderful play area for the kids. And their dog, Roxy was even so sweet. She caught a frog for my son who was upset that they kept getting away from him. The boats were well taken care of and so fun.We will rent from them anytime we visit Crane Lake!Thanks Handbergs team!

I was camping in Voyageurs Natl Park and had several boat issues arise with my Johnson 70HP motor. I was referred to Handberg's Marina by one of their neighboring marinas as the go to place for Johnson outboards. The five stars are not just for great service but for the entire crew and family who work there. The mechanics are the best and service is excellent. The girls in the store are so polite and helpful and really hustle to make your day run as smooth as possible. The dock hands were good hard working kids. Even the dog is friendly and lovable! The ice cream is very tasty. The boat I rented was perfect. The overall facilities were impeccably clean. There should be some kind of extra star that can be posted because this marina has really got it nailed down as to how service is done. It may be a little bit out of the way but it is definitely the best place to go for service that I have ever been to. I want to say thank you to all of the guys and girls there for helping to make my trip a great experience. You are the best.

Hands down the best customer service!! Greg Povroznik located some parts for my Yamaha that NOBODY else had, kept me updated every day over the 3-4 day search for parts. When I arrived at the marina everything was neatly organized and was politely greeted by the other employees as well! Definitely saved my fishing trip!!!

Best ice cream on the lake! Always fun to stop in their shop and they have done great work on our boat as well. We also notice a great selection of the essentials in their shop which is amazing In an area that has a very limited selection.

As a cabin owner on the lake, I can't say enough about Handberg's! They have been central to our experience for many years. We appreciate the friendly, courteous, and professional attitude shared by all the staff members. We use their boat storage, put in, take out, and boat maintenance services exclusively. The work is always on time and solid. And heck, there is always ice cream, live bait, cool souvenir's, and those essentials that we all forget to bring up from time to time.The dock hands are super friendly and helpful, year after year - always a reflection of Lori's dedication to customer service. The Handberg family are very special people. I am grateful for the amazing service they provided on Friday of Memorial Day weekend. No other dealer on the planet would have cleared the morning schedule on a holiday weekend to replace a lower unit at the last minute. I was fortunate to meet the entire Handberg family and staff and learned that this is a 4th generation family owned business. The entire family was and staff were extremely courteous and friendly. A huge shout out to Nick who did the work to get us back out on the water. Overall my experience was off the charts. I would highly recommend Handberg Marine for any boating needs. Thank you to the entire family and staff for going so far above and beyond to help us out. Amazing!!!

They saved our trip. Our annual MEA trip with the kids got off to a rocky start, lower unit destroyed. Laurie and Jeff were able to make room for us. We used a RV site and set up the tents. They went way above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed to be comfortable. Everyone we met the next 4 days were super friendly. We had a private dock for our remaining boat, water and power at the campsite. Great coffee and conversation. I will be back!

The guy in parts is wonderful between him &, service department they always get me set right up, & the owner is very helpful for anny of my questions. I use to work on boats for several years & had boats 30 years, I wait till I get up to see them. Prices are very responsible & worth waiting to get back up north to let them get you all set up, very glad I met the whole gang

We were launching our boat from the public launch on Crane lake on a Sunday evening headed out to Burnt Island campsite with our boat fully loaded with camping gear, when our boat would not go into gear. After a few attempts to fix the problem my husband and I realized we couldn't fix it. I hiked the short distance to Handberg Marine, it was after hours but they went out of their way to help us. Chad came over to the launch and gave us an effective temporary fix and were were on our way. We then had the boat fixed there during working hours. They did great work in just a few hours and it was reasonably priced. They are genuinely concerned for boaters and treated us very well.The staff and mechanics are friendly and very helpful. They now have flush toilets and still have that small town, lake life charm. This wasn't the only time they came to our rescue when our boat has broken down.

This is the kind of family run business that keeps you coming back. Everyone we encountered here was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were camping on an island and they helped us launch and trailer our boat fast and effectively. They seem to know most customers by name and offer tips and suggestions about the area.

I was on Crane Lake with my family in our brand new boat when all of a sudden the engine would only idle. I called the closest mercury marine dealer and was told they are too busy to look at it. I then called Handberg Marine and was told to pull it up to the dock and one of there technicians would take a quick look at it. 30 minutes later we arrived at the dock and their technician found the throttle linkage came off and had not been clipped in place. 10 minutes later they had it fixed and we were off to enjoy the rest of our vacation. Thank you for your great service and taking the time to look at it even though you are not even a Mercury Dealer. 5 stars all the way

Had an incident with my prop on another lake and was able to get a new prop and they even went for a boat ride with me to make sure the prop would work. Was on the first day of our trip plus it was on a Sunday. Thank you!!
