Should do some quality inspection in the meat dept. Ive gotten food poisoning. Old product or repackaging. Or just poor quality temp control. Its smelly, and the date doesnt expire for 4 more days. I wonder why the red meats bad but supposed to be fresh? Well i took a look and there was 2 stickers with different dates. On the same package. Theyre repackaging old meat.

Fairly clean and well stocked especially given the remote location. Workers were polite and helpful. The prices were higher than average, I'm sure due to the remote location, but the "tourist" items like bug spray and sunscreen were WILD. Bring your own or be prepared for a 10 dollar mark up.Also I bought some chicken salad in the deli and it was 90% sauce. It wasn't Mayo, not sure what it was, but it was inedible as is. I used it to cover two chopped chicken breasts, and it was still a little heavy on the sauce. Just a heads up Lol

This place is one of the highlights of our cabin trips! The brat barn, the homemade butcher sausage, kraut, jerky, it's all great. Some places you go in, up there and because you're not a local, people aren't helpful. This is definitely NOT the case here. Everyone wants to help. When it burned I was scared it wasn't coming back. It's not only back, it's better than ever! I can only wish to have a store like this locally. Thank you!

Amazing local grocery store in Cook, MN. Has everything you could want plus their own sausages and more. Friendly staff and you can even get gas there.

Prefer to shop at a regional "small business" rather than a national chain. Their prices are generally a bit higher, but it's good to shop where family and friends work. Zup's brats are the best for the grill, trust me on that!

Worth the drive if you need more than a couple things - we drove 15 miles from our cabin. For those from the twin cities, it's like a much nicer than normal cub. Recommend!

Nice grocery store and gas station. Nice to have a grocery store close with everything you need without driving all the way to Virginia. Very nice staff. Very clean bathrooms.

Best bacon hands down I ever had. I was last there a year ago when they were in a smaller, temporary location due to a fire. Also, spice selection for items such as paprika, turmeric etc were absolute tops thru Wisconsin Spice Co... plan to utilize this quality in a food truck in Nebraska soon to gain a competitive edge... this won't be fair to the competition esp w/the bacon!

I’m from MPLS, this spot is like kowalskis. The meat selection is outstanding. we’ve been looking forward to getting there this fishing season for more sausages! I have eaten the fried chicken and deviled potato salad; the white meat wasn’t over cooked, was really well-seasoned, and the potato salad was acrumdiddlyumptious. Prices are similar to kowalskis. Really clean, friendly staff, we’ll be back on our way home to stock the cooler

This grocery store will make you wish ALL shopping experiences were like visiting ZUPS in Cook. The staff go above and beyond consistently to help you as much as possible. It’s very much appreciated that they help you to your car, especially when you have kids in car seats.

This is a very strange and rude business. To be honest, this whole town of Cook, MN reminds me of the weirdos in the movie Deliverance from 1972. If you expect to be treated with decency, you will be much better off in Virginia, MN.

This has to be one of the nicest Super markets that I have been. So clean, friendly staff and anything in the grocery line that a person would want. it would be great if Virginia or Mtn Iron had a Zups. That's the only place that I would grocery shop.

Wow! Just had to place an order with the Deli for an event at the end of June. I am beyond impressed! The person helping in the deli was so helpful and knowledgeable. Highly Highly Recommend! Nice. Friendly. Super Helpful.

Had my venison processed here this year and am very pleased with the product. I had them make deer sticks and cheddar brats and they did an excellent job.

Nice new store but food prices are too high. I know they lost a lot of money after the fire but the customer is paying the price. I wish I could give 5 stars but I can't.

Rebuilt after fire. Decent selection except on fruits and veggies. More expensive than in Virginia. Be prepared w/$. Better meat selection/frozen options than Orr store.

This store needs someone to teach there employees out customer service. I have yet to meet an employee at Zup's that can treat a customer with just one once of respect. I so wish there was another Food Market in Cook, maybe then they would realize they need to teach there employees how treat there customers.

Great supermarket in the middle of no where. Needed precooked frozen shrimp and they had it!!!! Amazing! Wonderful customer service and clean restrooms. Great spot.

Zups is a classic local grocery store, they have some specialty foods of their own that makes them a bit unique; otherwise they are a fairly well stocked small chain of grocery stores.
