Since my partner and I had our wedding in the central MN area, Cold Spring Bakery was naturally recommended by multiple vendors, and we are glad we went with them! We ordered a smaller cake and a bunch of cupcakes for our wedding reception, and both were delicious. They did an excellent job decorating the cake after we shared a few inspiration pics, and only a few cupcakes were left by the end of the night! We also really appreciated the arrangements that they made to get tasty, gluten-free cupcakes for us - that they already had a way to meet the dietary needs of our guests really sealed the deal on our end. We used Cold Spring Bakery for our wedding desserts, we love their donuts and cookies and we got married just down the street so it was a no brainer to use them. We went to our tasting with the idea that we’d just do cut-out sugar cookies for our guests but the cupcakes at the tasting were so delicious we ended up getting a mix of almond cupcakes, carrot cake cupcakes and sugar cookies. Can’t beat the quality and price. They also set up our desserts at the Great Blue Heron for a small fee. Best part: we can keep going back each year and having our same wedding treats.

This is a delayed review from my wedding last September. The cake was gorgeous. We appreciated that they were able to change the color of the cake to fit our wedding colors. The whole process was pleasant, they were great to work with. The cake arrived on time and the price was pretty good as well. It also tasted great.

I've never enjoyed anything so much from a bakery before! My daughter recently turned 2 and they designed the most beautiful cake (turtle themed). It was gluten free and still tasted divine. Thank you so much!

Cold Spring Bakery decorated my wife's birthday cake. Most of the communication with the decorators was through email, but I sent pictures with what we were thinking and they made one even better for us! She wanted a dolphin sculpted cake and that’s what she got! Thanks for making a memorable cake for us!

One of my most favorite bakeries! Their donuts and pastries always taste so fresh. You can never just leave with only a donut or two. Always end up leaving with a variety box! Highly recommend!

Cold Spring Bakery is my go-to for desserts in the St. Cloud area! From planning out the desserts for our wedding to the day of, they were great! We opted to do assorted mini desserts for our guests, and they were a hit! Cold Spring Bakery delivered them, along with our cake (with our flowers and topper on it) and set them all out for us. The desserts were delicious, and we're so excited to have our cake again on our 1 year anniversary! Would HIGHLY recommend CSB for your wedding desserts!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, cream filled donughts! They put a ton of cream in their eclairs!!! In my opinion, they make the BEST cream filling of any bakery I have tried! Fantastic! The butter pecan coffee was also excellent! Love this Saturday morning "date" place with my hubby😍 I love that they have "number tickets" to call guests in order, when it gets busy. Staff is very pleasant! Love it here!!!!!

My husband & I were able to stop by this bakery while staying for a night in Cold Spring. We stopped by on Saturday, about 45 minutes before closing. Oh what a sight! So many goodies to choose from! We purchased several things, raspberry white chocolate cookies, various bars, mocha bars & various doughnuts. We wanted something to celebrate our son's birthday, but instead of buying a cake, we bought a bunch of other things instead! The staff were very sweet & helpful! This bakery is amazing! We worked with Kathy to create our wedding cake and from day one she was incredibly helpful and sweet! Our cake was beautiful and we still have guests talking about how good it was! The almond cake with lemon filling is a must ;) We will be using Cold Spring Bakery in the future!

My husband and I ordered cheesecake cupcakes to host at our wedding reception and they were delicious! We loved the lemon flavor and were pleasantly surprised how tasty the cherry flavor was that we had to get them! We received a lot of compliments from guests on the dessert. My mom doesn’t like cheesecake and even she was raving about them! We will definitely be back to the bakery for more!

I highly recommend Cold Spring Bakery. BUT only the Cold Spring location. You can see why with the review I left for that location. The Cold Spring location staff were friendly and professional. They designed the custom cake that I had asked for and it tasted amazing. Thank you for making my son's birthday one of the best yet.

Such an amazing bakery! They did a beautiful job on our wedding cake. We had a three tier with only the top tier real. I told them to place the flowers wherever they wanted and it was exactly what I had pictured if not better. We had almond flavored sheet cakes from them as well. People were constantly complimenting me on how good it was! In fact, it was so good that the top of our tier cake also got eaten. The consultation was great and everything up to the wedding day was perfect. They were extremely nice and very helpful. Their other baked goods are DELICIOUS too! I would make a trip to stop there any day.

Our wedding centerpiece cakes were amazing. We received many rave reviews from our guests and the gluten free cake was very tasty. Delivery was a little late but no matter, it was completed within time of the wedding and we were delighted with the end result. Even though they may be a bit out of the way from the twin cities......consider them.....They deliver and you will be wanting more cake! Thank you ladies the cakes were a hit!

Cold Spring Bakery made cupcakes for my wedding recently. I sent them a photo of a cake and asked them to use the design but in cupcake form. They completely exceeded my expectations and were one of my favorite parts of my wedding. They also tasted delicious! Highly recommend!

Interesting encounter today at bakery. I was questioning the pricing of multiple packages of rolls. The choices I made were all $1.39 per roll and 6/$7.39(I think). Woman in charge said that was incorrect as any with nuts would not apply. She still didn’t listen when shown the prices were all the same and felt I was trying to be a smarty when all I needed and wanted was an explanation why those with nuts would be more when the noted prices were all the same. She was quite rude, which is exactly what she felt I was being, but in my case, I was the customer, trying to make a purchase to justify her wage. And it all ended with her seeing the price sign , poking around on her cash register and saying “oh, they must have changed the price”!!! Customers are the reason you get to work at 3am and spend time making such wonderful baked items. It’s a shame to have Ill informed employees and those unwilling to listen to their customers. I live in SD and stop twice a year, not sure that will continue if anyone cares. You do have an amazing bakery, however.

I don't post many reviews. Pretty much only when it's exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. Thankfully this was the former. I just happened to be passing through Cold Spring and had an hour to kill, so I decided to see what was available. I stopped by the Cold Spring Bakery and bought a box of a few different things that looked good. Everything looked good and fresh, but sometimes looks can be deceiving. Good lord, man. Every single thing that I bought was grade A fine. Exceptionally tasty and obviously very fresh. Do yourself a favor and stop by this place if you're close. You won't regret it. My faves were the monster cookie, date cookie, and mocha bar. Awesome!

We recently purchased cookies and a cake for our wedding through cold spring bakery and it was all delicious! They delievered everything for us and then decorated our cake on site with fresh flowers. Their prices are so reasonable, as well! We love cold spring bakery!

Love the taste of their cakes! We ordered a wedding cake from them, but it turned out to the the wrong colors that we asked for and some of the designed we thought were going to be on the cake were not there as well. Still impressed on the cascading flower design and the look of the two tier cake!
