I moved from the cities to Howard Lake with a geriatric great dane. Finding a knowledgeable & compassionate vet was a priority. Older dogs esp Danes can have some health needs that require a vet who understand that. My dog Kiwi was recently diagnosed with cancer, & I'm grateful for my vet here. He has been transparent but with kindness. He has provided treatment based on this diagnosis & I feel like I'm able to trust his medical advice. I've had vets who took basically take advantage of me financially because I love my pets and will always find a way to get them the medical needs they have, so it's a good feeling that even though my time is limited, & Kiwi & I take things 1 day at a time, I know she is in good hands with my vet here & when that day comes I'm certain he will be just as kind & compassionate as he's always been. Long story short- GO SEE THEM FOR QUALITY AFFORDABLE CARE.

Extremely friendly, very quick to offer suggestions, but was never forceful. They let me know the consequences of my options, and made recommendations, but never pushed me into making choices. I appreciate the patience and support they gave me and my dogs.

I am very happy with the service and care we received at this office. Our dog had surgery on a Friday, and Dr Fitzpatrick gave us his phone number to call with any questions or concerns. He was extremely helpful and caring, and checked in throughout the weekend to make sure our dog was recovering well. Outstanding personalized care. Will definitely continue to bring our dogs here!

Went in for update shots for my friend's cats. The cats seemed to trust and be comfortable with Dr. Nate and he seemed to enjoy seeing them! One even purred while getting the vaccination! The whole team was helpful and took time to help with questions I had.

We love this vet, and so do our dogs. We had to put our one dog down last year, and the vet was very compassionate and afterwords sent a hand written note with the ink prints of our dogs noise and paw.

We have a number of dogs as we breed Shetland Sheepdogs. Because of the number we are very demanding both during regular visits, puppy whelpings and emergencies. Both Dr. Nate and Dr. Jim have responded superbly. I would rank them as more the 5 stars if I could because they go above and beyond both in service and compassion. You cannot go wrong at AVC!

Dr. Nate and his staff are top notch! I've been bringing my family's pets to them for five years and have always been happy with the service and experience they provide. Dr. Nate is very personable and has helped educate me so that I can make the best health care decisions for our pets. He and his staff have helped me with both conservative and surgical care for my hunting dog and advised me on ways to keep our pets healthy. I have even been at his clinic while he performed, in my opinion, emergency vet care to save a dog's life! I can't recommend them high enough, and on top of that their prices are very reasonable!

I have a great pyrenees and the breeder I got him from recommended this clinic due to her past experiences with them. When I went there they where fast, cautious, and very friendly with my dog. I'm happy to say he isn't afraid of the vet, which I can't say for my other two dogs who went to a different clinic and didn't have the same experience.

We have gone to Nate for years. He is honsets and personalble. We just got a new puppy and loved how well everyone took care of us! All the staff were welcoming and Nate was great with our puppy. Glad to know our old pup and new are always in great hands.

Hands down the best vet experience I could offer to my fur babies. All staff members truly show the care they have for each individual animal they see. The environment that the staff provides is a very open line of communication with honest feedback, and truly trying to offer the best option for the animal making you the owner feel as comfortable throughout the process. I had lost one of my pups to a dog virus and I truly felt like they were caring for my dog as if it was one of their own. They checked in all the time and kept me informed with anything and everything I needed to know. As well as following up after my pup passed away. Due to the specific virus my pup had I was very hesitant to have another dog, they were fully involved in the process of making sure the environment I had, and timing would be an appropriate time to have a dog re-enter my home. I now have 2 new pups and I wouldn't take them any where else to make sure they stay with a clean bill of health!

Have had only good experiences with Nate in Waverly and Cokato, and with all 3 of my dogs. He is thorough and gives you a full detailed description of whats going on with your pet. I believe they genuinely care for your pet and treat each customer as if they were family. I'm so thankful to have them to care for my doggos ❤️

Such a caring and fun staff. They've kept my critters healthy and whole for years. Dr. Nate did so much for us thus far. Cherry eye surgery, trauma recuperation from being hit by a car, skin allergies, the special blind cat that we love... he's taken care of it all. We adore that team.

When I moved here last March, I was having troubles wanting to find a Vet that would take care of my fur babies! I came to Associated Vet Clinic in Waverly where the staff were SO helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable! I highly recommend them! They are a bit pricey from what I am used too, but it's the time and dedication they put into your pets!

Dr. Kirkpatrick and staff are wonderful! Both the Cokato and Waverly Clinics are very clean and organized. Routine visits are a breeze, and when my dog had a specific health issue they provided treatment options that fit our situation. I have a 7yr old black lab Ripley that is my big old baby and when we moved out here I needed a new vet. I am so happy I found Dr. Nate and the associated team! Ripley had 2 fat lumps and 5 teeth that were rotten or had exposed roots. Dr. Nate removed them and its like I have a new dog! Ripley acts like a puppy again and has a new lease on life.
