We have been taking our pets to the Cloquet Animal Hospital since 1985. By far the best care our pets have received has been when Dr. Shepard took ownership of the clinic. Additionally, she has the most amazing staff.

I am always confident my fur babies are getting the best care. The staff are always so nice and patient even with my most crabby and stubborn little guy. 🐕My Poor Baby was there for post surgical care. And even when I was able to take her home, they still called to check on her progress.

We have been bringing our gerbils, Fred and George, for 3 years and the vets and vet assistants have always been kind and considerate to their furry patients and their owners. George, gerbils on the left, recently obtained a wound on his stomach, our vet cleaned him up, gave him medication for a week and asked for an update afterwards. Perhaps that is just what good vets do, but it is greatly appreciated.

We just recently moved to Cloquet. My kitty Boots has had some problems off and on. They squeezed us in during a snowstorm and started a treatment. Unfortunately the next day some other symptoms showed up. We went back and they kept her overnight. Unfortunately Boots could not be saved. But I couldn't have asked for a better team of people who made one of my hardest days in my life bearable. I appreciate everything you did for my Boots and my family and I. Thank you. Randy Rowell

Amazing animal hospital! I tried a few different places trying to make an appointment for my bunny who I thought had ear mites, but they were either not accepting new patients or were booked out for months. One of those places recommended I try the Cloquet animal hospital and I did. They made my bunny an appointment right away!! The staff was incredibly nice, helpful, informative with everything they were doing, and you can tell how deeply they care for the animals that they see!! AND, they are affordable! I was shocked when I saw how low the bill was, especially for getting her nails trimmed and an immunization. This is the first and the only vet I will bring my baby too ❤️

Called with skin problems with my cat. They were able to make great recommendations over the phone for things I could try before needing to make an appointment. The suggestions worked and now my cat is less itchy and happy. I'm impressed that they can be so helpful and put the animals welfare above making money off of appointments etc.

I have never found such a dedicated Animal Hospital. Kelsey was so well taken care of. Dr. Shepherd was so kind and caring and kept us so well informed.The Techs were so kind and caring. I would recommend The Cloquet Animal Hospital.

My folks used this Vet for the entire life of their beloved Corgi from puppyhood til the Rainbow Bridge. I witnessed first hand the incredible love, knowledge, expertise, and quality of care this dedicated team gives their patients and the families. I was amazed to find a animal hospital in Cloquet that had a Vet who specializes in small animals. In my case my Guinea pig, whose gone there twice. Once for a bladder infection and the second time for dry skin. Both times they diagnosed her quickly and get her on the road to recovery! I've also brought my cat here a few times and got wonderful service?!

Been with these guys over 10 years. Absolutely love their compassion and love for animals. They do tend do be a little bit for priceyer than then other vets in the area but they are one of the best. At least in my opinion.

I was so nervous about switching veterinary clinics. My bestfriend (my 5 year old female Olde English Bulldogge) had developed seizures over Christmas 2019. I was still with another clinic at the time. A night in January she started having another round of cluster seizures. I was unable to get ahold of my regular vet but Cloquet Animal Hospital told me to come in right away. Of course we got there and Luna was cured by all their love and smiles. (I now know Luna's cure to seizures is just a quick visit to Cloquet Animal Hospital 😉)The moment I knew I made the right choice is when I brought my cat, Nova, in about a week later to get her stitches out. I walked in and was greeted by.. literally.. everyone.. who also asked how Luna was doing. That's when I knew. 💜
