Took my wife riding for her birthday. It was absolutely amazing! From the care they give their horses to the way they conduct business. I've never been horseback riding and they made sure I was good to go. Just want to give a shout out to the true mvps. Molly (my horse) and chief (my wifes) they were the best!

I’ve always loved to ride ever since I was a little girl, but unfortunately I can’t own horses. Because of that I haven’t gotten to ride very much.my boyfriend surprised me on my birthday with a trail ride from these fine people. We had such an awesome time ! We got there early in the morning to beat the heat ,Our guides were knowledgeable kind and patient ! Very friendly and they were so kind to the horses ! The horses were beautiful and well behaved beyond my expectations. They aren’t dead head trail horses who just follow each other , they all have some spunk but gentle enough for a younger rider . I can’t wait to go back sometime soon! Thank you for the wonderful birthday ride !

Owner was very friendly. We showed up on time (group before us was late therefore we got held back) BUT it gave us a chance to check out her awesome wild pig, goat and dog! All three were very friendly and we got to pet them!! Horses we're beautiful and well tamed. The trail was amazing especially when you hit the lake and watch the cows/horses relax from afar. Will definitely visit again!

Exceptional. If you are looking for beautiful surroundings, peace and quiet, and a well stocked small lake for fishing/swimming look no further. True camping with amenities (full hookups available). Mike and Joan (owners) take pride in maintaining this clean and orderly campground, ranch and horse stable. They could very well be the best and most warm welcoming host we have had the pleasure of meeting. Note. You have about 2 miles or so on well maintained gravel roads. No issues with a 28' travel trailer. I almost forgot, if you are fortunate, they may offer up a wagon ride behind the old John Deer tractor. Don't miss it, it was lovely! Thanks for a memorable stay. We hope to be back soon.

My 12 year old daughter and I had a great ride. Both the owner and our trail guide were very friendly. We did the hour ride and it was a nice relaxed scenic ride.

Booked a two hour ride for me and my brother for Saturday. I was explicitly told via text that it started at 3pm. It's a 4 hour drive from my parents house, but we were excited to go. I get there at the appointed time, and there is nobody there. We call them and they tell me the last ride is at 2pm. So I drove four hours for nothing. They proceed to tell me I can come back tomorrow, but I was so pissed. I told them how long of a drive it was for us, but they didn't even offer a discounted ride or anything when they were the ones who messed up so we found somewhere else to go. If you live a good distance away, do not go here.

Absolutely one of the best trail rides I’ve ever been on! I’ve had horses most of my life and have missed riding so much. My husband planned this for my birthday. We arrived at the ranch and I knew it was going to be an incredible time.. It is so open and spacious. There are no cars driving nearby to spook your horse. The horses are very well cared for with large pasture areas. A lot of the horses have been born and raised on the ranch. The owner was so nice and made sure we would have a special ride. Sam was our guide. She was so wonderful and an absolute sweetheart. She genuinely enjoys taking people on the trail rides and loves horses as much as I do! I had so much fun talking to her about riding. We did the hour trail ride that was just my husband and me.The scenery was beautiful, spacious, and varied. Sam took us down a field, into an awesome forest with winding trails and to a lake. She took a beautiful pic of us by the lake and then gave us the option to ride our horses into the lake. We chose to ride into the lake and it was so much fun! She warned us that the horse my husband was riding liked to splash. We didn’t quite realize just how much he really liked to splash! He lifted his front leg and just started splashing and trying to get my husband wet. It was hilarious and I wish I had taken a picture! I’ve ridden most of my life and my husband has ridden once and we both had a fantastic time. Riders with or without experience will have a great time. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is. Sam made sure we had the best time. She had already been taking people on trail rides since 10am. Our ride was at 3:30 and she still had a fun energy and made sure we had a great time! We also had the option to trot or lope along a stretch of field. We chose to lope and it was so fun. We truly had an incredible, fun riding experience. I very highly recommend going to Silver Sage Ranch!

Our family (parents + plus girls ages 8 & 10) enjoyed an amazing trail ride today with Toni and the awesome horses at Silver Sage Guest Ranch. Missy, Tess, Cole and Haus were the horses we had the pleasure of joining on the ride. The ride and the company was pleasant and we learned a lot along the way.I would highly recommend Toni and all of our lovely horses and, of course, Silver Sage Guest Ranch. They have a summer camp that sounds really great, too.Thanks so much for the hospitality. We'll definitely be back!

One of my Scout Troops favorite spots to visit. Joan and Megan were professional and knowledgeable. They run an amazing program. The camp sight had a bathroom! We cannot wait to go back.

Nice, quiet campground on a private lake with fishing and swimming surrounded by trees. A true, peaceful Minnesota getaway. Horse back rides are very scenic and enjoyable. Great staff. A hidden gem!

Very clean campground and bathroom (with shower). Peaceful and off the beaten path. Could hear the loons at night. Plenty of water toys for the kids to enjoy.
