They took in 'immediately' an abandoned cat I'd been feeding because when I tried to bring her into my home she began attacking my cats because she was so close to delivery of her killens. DAH!! She now has a room of her own where she will stay with her kittens until weaned and VERY loving people caring for her in her time of need.HUGE THANKS

Extremely nice gal, who volunteers, helped reunite my sister with her dog. He had slipped out the door and was caught by the Chisholm police within minutes of his escape. Even with me driving up and down the streets calling and whistling for him. Finally I had called the dispatch 911 switch board and asked if they had received any calls in the past 4hrs and that is when I received a truthful answer as I had contacted the Chisholm police department earlier and was told they didn't know of any call or dog. I am so glad they took him to this shelter, as they initially took him to headquarters I was told by dispatch. I was told they open at 1pm. But my sister cannot be without her savior of a dog and she could not wait any longer. So went went and thankfully the volunteer gal answered the phone immediately and said my sister could certainly grab her dog. She had taken wonderful care of him and he was so thrilled to be home, he slept straight through the day... Not like him at all.While there, my sister had spoke with this lady who volunteers a lot of her time and love to this shelter, but more importantly all of the animals. A lot of the animals are cats, with super unique marking and amazing personalities; despite their extended time with this shelter.Upon hearing this from my sister, I checked their website which has up-to-date information along with the adoption fees and photos of these cats/kittens. This shelter has the lowest impound fee and the most kindhearted folks that care for these animals. They are volunteers,and I'm sure spend a good majority of their own time cleaning and caring for these animals within their shelter walls. I would encourage everyone to even just look at the website or their facebook. I bet you fall in love with the animals that are available. Even if you're not from the area, I myself would be willing to drive any of these animals to their new home. I routinely drive from the Hibbing area down to the Duluth area and as far as Minneapolis (1-2 times/month).This here is actually a good shelter which I would never say of any facility. But it is one that actually tries it's darndest to reunite pets with their owners and also doesn't make you choose between your pet your financial well-being. Something that actually benefits the community and it's wellbeing. Which is beyond rare.

I recently visited Precious Paws and was truly blown away. The staff was kind to visitors and incredibly caring toward the animals that live there while waiting for their forever homes. The facility was clean, and it is a place I would not hesistate to adopt from. Precious Paws is an organization I would highly recommend. A+

I visited Precious Paws for the first time today and the atmosphere was amazing. The volunteers there are loving and caring and they appreciate and view every animal as a gift. They try their best to accomodate all of the animals and all of them seem happy and healthy to be there. I would recommend that anyone visit Precious Paws if they are interested in adopting!!

Precious Paws is a wonderful humane society that provides excellent care and shelter for the community's lost, abandoned and wanted dogs and cats. The volunteer staff are very helpful, and the kitties are sweet.

Adopted a cat from them that is apparently sick with ore existing conditions, workers advised nothing about her, other than we have to get her to a vet soon, as we can see why now, they also advised before we left that they wouldn’t cover any Vet bills, as you can see why they mistreat their animals. Should have guessed when I was advised to only enter 1 room of cats per 24 hours to reduce the spread of diseases between them.Disgusting place. Avoid at all costs.
