4/11/24- the boys went to day camp today and I’m totally going to send them again!!! Thanks for caring for Leo and Lenny today!We have been going to Fireside Pet Lodge to get our goldendoodles groomed for a couple years and we won’t take them anywhere else. Staff is fantastic. Facility is beautiful. 5 stars every time!!!Here is Leo after his “Spa Day”! He is officially ready for spooky season! 👻🎃🐶

We love Fireside, but most importantly our two dogs love Fireside. They are always happy to go and see the staff there. We did a stay and train program that helped manage their behavior at home and also love the daycare and boarding options. The dogs always seem relaxed when they come home. Staff are always friendly, willing to answer questions, and respond quickly. The portal is easy to use for reservations.

I cannot esidesay enough good things about Fireside Pet Lodge. First when I had trouble handling Milo, a St. Bernard, it got so bad that we could not board Milo at any location that didn’t offer “no-touch” kennels. Fireside took him in and, at our request, trained him over the course of about two months. Today, my handling of Milo hasn’t achieved perfection, but I can work with him in most situations. Milo still goes to day camp about twice a week and we always board him at Fireside. The folks at Fireside are very friendly and, most importantly, Milo loves spending time at Fireside - often waiting by our garage door hoping for a car ride for a day or night at Fireside. Highly recommend Fireside!

Victoria, my Charlie's trainer and the entire staff at Fireside Pet Lodge were just absolutely fantastic with my guy during his board and train stay. They were extremely patient with him with regards to the fact he has not been boarded a lot and could potentially be a little difficult. Much to my surprise Charlie upon entering their facility just ran around as jovial as could be excited and curious. The decor of their facility I believe really set him at ease. It's a very homey vibe to the place and looks more like an upscale ski lodge more than a dog board and train facility.They were very responsive to me when I checked in to see how he was doing and keeping me posted regularly on his training and training progress. I look forward to continuing to use their boarding services and training options.

We had an amazing experience with Fireside’s stay and train program. We did the “off leash” training program as we live in the county and do not have an enclosure for our pup to run, just 6 acres to explore. They treated Luna so very well, and sent updates throughout her stay. After she graduated from the program, we met at the lodge for a 1 on 1 session to help us understand the commands they taught her. They made sure that we were comfortable with all of the commands and techniques that they used, so we were able to be successful for the transition home. Luna has always been a smart and amazing pup, but now she is able to resist distractions, follow commands, and much less resistant to direction/redirection. They go above and beyond, and are fantastic at communicating. Thank you for everything!

First visited to get our Blue heeler groomed with the all-day daycare. They took exceptional care of our boy. Including outdoor play time in the pool. We will be starting a six-week long training class next week. Very clean environment

We sent our 8-month-old puppy for a month of training with Tekla, we couldn't have been happier with the results. Our pup was trained without an electric training collar which was very important to us. He’s home now and we couldn't be happier, it was worth every penny. The owners are professional, responsive, and caring, they keep extremely clean kennels and employ a very professional well-trained staff. They have grooming on-site and also do boarding.

We recently had our 1 1/2 year old German Shepherd trained here. The staff is second to none and the facility is beautiful and incredibly clean. Our trainer was Adam. He was really incredible with Tucker. We have continued with the training that we all learned and Tucker is a much happier dog and we are happy owners.

Easton does a awesome job grooming. Our dog is hand stripped and we had a hard time finding someone who knew how to do it. So glad we found him. Fireside is the best.

Not only did they do a fantastic job grooming my dog, but when I had a flat tire on the side of the road, their manager came to the rescue and helped me get my dog to his appointment. They truly went above and beyond, showing their dedication to both their furry clients and their humans. Highly recommend!

We brought our 9 year old lab here for boarding. When we picked her up, the employee said she did great and didn’t have any issues. But once we got home, I noticed she had broken a tooth and she had silver residue all over her teeth (probably from chewing on a cage for a long period of time). I don’t understand how the employees let this happen and why they did not notify me if she was showing extreme signs of stress. I will not be taking my dog back here and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We are delighted with all our dog Kealy, an Irish Water Spaniel learned while at Fireside Pet Lodge’s Stay & Train Program. It has increased our enjoyment of her tenfold. She can sit and stay, reliably come when called, heal off leash, and even heal on a bike ride! She is also a Therapy Dog for a local non-profit organization and does well at her ‘job’! Many thanks to Adam, Tekla, and the team for their wise guidance. We can heartily recommend them. Each time we return for a follow up training session (because WE need training too) Kealy is excited to head in and visit her friends!

We just picked up our two Portuguese water dogs (PWDs) from Fireside Pet Lodge. They had been in the stay and train obedience program, and the results are amazing! They learned several commands, and we put those to use immediately.In the past when someone would ring our doorbell, the dogs would get excited, bark, jump up at the door and then they'd both accost whoever was at the door. When the doorbell rang, we put them on "place" and once our neighbors were inside we released the dogs and they were totally calm and friendly with no jumping whatsoever!Yesterday, another couple impromptu opportunities to see their training in use. The first was a dog I've seen in the past being walked (who our dogs simply don't like), they would typically bark (non-stop) running along the property line until the dog was out of sight, of course with us yelling to stop. Not today…I put them on "sit" and while they saw the other dog and were interested they didn't chase or bark, what a transformation! Similarly, when a Vespa went by today, I called "here", and they came to me right away! In the past, this would've resulted in the dogs chasing the vehicle and barking across the entire property line. I used to get so stressed out, embarrassed and worried when a strange dog, bike, delivery truck or motorcycle went by; and it seems like that will be a thing of the past!Dog walks that used to be stressful regarding who or what we'd encounter on a walk, have become stress-free and enjoyable!While we still have work and reinforcement to do together, we brought home two different very well trained dogs!We're totally impressed and couldn't be more happy with the entire Fireside Pet Lodge team! We'd highly recommend them for any of your pet needs: lodging, grooming and / or training!Thanks to the entire Fireside Pet Lodge team! We'll see you soon!

I live all the way in Rochester but I believe taking the drive out to Chatfield for this place is always worth it. My dog, Lumen, is always delighted to come back, leaves exhausted and I can tell that the employees treat him really well. With reasonable prices and a beautiful location, I wouldn’t consider boarding my family member anywhere else. I would give this place six stars if I could.

We've used Fireside Pet Lodge, and absolutely love them! These are dog people who treat your dogs like their own pets.Despite a 2 hour one-way ride, we've used them on multiple occasions for boarding, training and grooming. We have two champion Portuguese water dogs, and are very particular about who takes care of our dogs.I highly recommend Fireside Pet Lodge for all your pet boarding, training and grooming needs!

They do a great job grooming and the staff is super friendly, but the prices kill me every time and aren't consistent. Standard/basic service is $245-330 (including 10-15% tip) for a Great Pyrenees and Golden Ret. Mix, 90lbs each.

I would rate it 0 if I could.Completely bleached and dried and burnt my poodles hair on the first visit: I was highly recommended and would never go here again.Absolutely atrocious service when I complained. Don’t know anything about dogs or pets and loved ones to be taking care of.

Customer service was poor and our puppy's first groom was less than stellar. Gave them a try and was planning to give them another chance but their scheduler canceled our puppy's bath without our knowledge. They could've at least offered some free service or goodies for our inconvenience but nothing but a sorry and a reschedule.

Lovely place, everyone was very friendly. Our German Shepherd took to the man behind the counter immediately. I feel dogs are a good judge of people. She was happy to see us but I feel she enjoyed her stay. We will be back.
