We RV camped at this location. The lake is great. Service was good we at all meals at the restaurant. They have a small fleet of new boats to rent. My only complaint would be the lack of maintenance on the boat ramp side of the park. This is definitely a stay and play location. The town is not tourists friendly. We are not traveling with kids, but this resort has lots of kid activities and a designated beach. We would go here again for boat rental and fishing.Nearby activities: NoneWalkability: Only in the park

This place is lovely and has a nice gift shop, beach, playground and outdoor workout area, and restaurant/bar. This place doesn't miss the chance to nickel and dime you to death. It's $12/day to launch your boat, $12 a day to use their lovely indoor pool and hot tub. They charged us $5/day for your pet, our little Chihuahua stayed in the camper mostly. They charged us $5 a day for the whole week for our granddaughter but she was only there 4 days. Also when my granddaughter and I went to the gift shop to buy some things and get their ice cream deal but one get one free an older blonde haired lady rolled her eyes when we asked for it. We had to ask for a napkin 3 times before they gave us 2. We actually had to ask 3 times for napkins in the restaurant too?! I won't be back, too expensive.

Absolutely do not recommend staying here! I came for a relaxing trip by myself, I stayed in a weird “cabin” that is connected to another room and along the poolside. The second night there was a huge party in the room that connects to mine, I tried to get a hold of staff to see if I could maybe move over a room to avoid the very loud stomping, running, and music but they were completely unavailable. What an absolute waste of money.

I just want to thank the great people from Stony Point Resort. My stay here was unexpected, though we are avid full-time RVers I happen to be coming through in my semi when I ran into mechanical issues. Managed to get my truck into their parking lot before it completely lost power. Fortunately for me, it was the first week of the off-season and the usually very full parking lot was almost empty. Not being from the area I was at a loss to find help in getting my truck repaired. Got a great referral to a local shop from the folks here at the park. Ended up spending a couple of days here in the parking lot, they were kind enough to offer shower and bathroom facilities, they also have a great staff and a full bar and restaurant. Restaurant was closed for the season but they have a well stocked store and the property is a beautiful setting on canals and Cass lake. The very friendly staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable as I didn’t want to take advantage. We will be back, in our RV next time to enjoy this beautiful area. Again, thank you…

Overall it's a nice self-contained fishing and camping resort. We had our family camping trip here this June, and the kids had a great time. Staff was nice, the campground was clean, and all of the seasonal campsites were well maintained. The beach area was nice with inflatable slides and pads. The county had a great paved bike trail right out in-front of their drive, that would take you anywhere in the area. Plus, Cass Lake itself is a beautiful lake. If you are planning to camp near Bemidji or the head waters I really recommend this campground.

Stopped in to see if they had any spots available after getting utterly swarmed with mosquitoes at Chippewa loop campground and had to get outta there! They had spots to accommodate us and our traveling partners rig. Thank goodness. Saved our camping/fishing trip. Service is great, bathrooms are very clean, sweet fish cleaning room, great laundry room. We truly enjoyed our stay and recommend it highly.

We had the best time fishing on this lake! And then we walked around at the store, which included a fantastic restaurant with amazing views. They had such unique gifts and beautiful decorations for sale, too. Spent the afternoon there, and the campground was super clean and beautiful trees keeping it cool while 80+ out. We can’t wait to go back and we plan on staying for a couple of weeks next time. Loved the restaurant and the friendly staff! The food was, not only a great presentation, but melt in your mouth delicious! Chicken was tender and moist and grilled to perfection. The wrap was the best I’ve eaten! Go have a wonderful afternoon today!!

We had a great time camping here for the first time! The beach area was awesome my 9 year old loved the floating slide and other water toys! It also had an indoor pool and jacuzzi which was wonderful when it got to hot out to tolerate the heat. Tha only complaint was that the bathroom ran out of soap and paper towels to wash your hands but thankfully we came prepared.

Food was good and service was not bad. Short staffed, but who isn't right now? Fun spot for the kids. Game room, and patio seating outside. They have dock spots for visitors.

My significant others Grandparents have a place here, so we came to visit his family. We had a wonderful time. Everyone was very friendly and the camp/resort were very clean as well as the shower houses. They have a perfect swimming area for kids of all ages, sand volleyball, playgrounds, and a restaurant/gift shop that is very reasonable in price. The breakfast buffet offered is so good! We just left today and have already decided we will come back every summer.

The owners and staff are exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Stony Point is a must go if you want lakeside camping with all sorts of activities including kayaking, aquabiking, biking, swimming, and fishing. It's quite affordable too!

The campground is crowded with long term and permanent trailers. It was claustrophobic being at the campsite, we did not spend a lot time there. The cabins look nice, beach has lots of things to do and boating options are good. The food at the Canal House Restaurant & Lounge was ok, nice outdoor seating. Store/gift shop was fully stocked. Disappointed that someone stole a hubcap off our 2016 truck, a $200 replacement cost. I was informed by a owner/employee that there has been theft problems this year (6 adult bicycles at $1000 each). The employees are nice, especially Lynn, thanks for making our visit enjoyable Lynn. It is unfortunate the campground is so crowded, money over comfort.

We tried the wings and clam chowder soup. Both were very good. They have a small but varied taps available so something for most. Otherwise they have can and bottled beer and hard seltzers to choose from.

Big resort nice channel to dock your boat. Fishing was very poor. Maybe better at night. Cabins are on top of each other very crowded. Not a bad place don't think I would stay again. You're packed in with no space between other guests

Our family has been going here for 40 years. Watching generation upon generation of owners take over and make fantastic changes to the family resort. The swimming area is very clean and they have tons of recreational and play areas for children and adults alike. Great place to stay, especially with the quality of the cabins stony point is a great week getaway with friends or family.

Brought our camper and 3 kids to Stony Point for the first time. We rented a boat which made it the weekend better. Staff was always friendly and the park was clean. Only thing the water was scorching hot in the bathrooms. Its a far drive for us but my husband wants to go back.. I wouldn't charge for the pool..
