This is not the first time I have been disappointed with their food. But this afternoon I've decided to post a review. This salad less than half filled this container. I measured the lettuce. It is one handful. There was so little salad, that even with dressing packets, it still didn't touch the lid!DQ....you owe me! It's lettuce, come on!!!

This is one of the worst DQ's I bhave ever been too, one three separate occasions we have orderd a frozen hot chocolate and the first time they said they had the cocoa fudge for it but when we got the drink it was maid with hot fudge( I know this because I ran two DQ's for ten years) so I aksed them if they used hot fudge and they said yes because they were out of cocoa fudge. So insted of letting us know they didn't have the right ingredient they rang it up anyway, on an other occasions when we got to the window the lady handed us our food with chocolate all over her hands and that would have never happened in the stores I ran. This last time being today we ordered some hot food and that was ok but no one in that store has any costumer sirves skills at all. You fo not take orders but saying order now then the amount then pull forward. They shouls be saying welcome to dq what can I get for you, then that will be $$ at the window. Someone need to be supervising this store so thing are done correctly and better costumer sirves skills would bring in more costumer's, if you have questions, please post back and I would love to help

SUCKS!! Absolute worst service and food ever. If ur craving dq wait until the next town. Their only employee is the 12 year old son of the manager. Expect to wait at least 15 minutes at the speaker before getting ur order taken, then another 20 at the window. Their gravy sauce is so watered down it just drips off the food. The fries are always hard. The ice cream comes out melted. Avoid at all costs! But if u can’t… expect to be disappointed.

Showed up in the drive through, drive through didn't move for 10 minutes. I decided to just go inside so I parked. I went up to the counter and stood, waiting to give my order for a while. Workers looked at me but didn't take my order. Eventually I just walked out.You might need to get some more workers, I know you're short because a boy who must have been 13 was working behind the counter. I've never been to a "fast food" place and left because it was taking too long to even place an order.

They had just opened and not everything was "fast food" ready, still doing their setup. They were extremely busy but the two servers were moving and working well together. The cook in back was hoping but keeping up. My daughter and I were just traveling through on our way back from up north and this was open. We had lunch and shared a blizzard. Everything was hot and well cooked. The ice cream was a welcome cool treat. Kudos to the hard working team.

Slow doesn't even begin to describe it. Stopped in a couple of days ago and there was one person at the window and I still waited for several minutes for someone to even acknowledge me to take my order. After a while I got tired of it and just left. Today was just as slow but I stuck it out. 25 minutes to get a small Sunday and medium fries. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is they were polite and got my order right.

Each car in the drive-thru line waited 10 or MORE minutes before being acknowledged. Usually an acknowledgement is instantaneous, even if they are busy and have to wait to place your order. I sat there in silence for about 10 minutes before anyone spoke. And that was with EVERY VEHICLE, not just me. They must be short-staffed, but isn't it typical for someone to acknowldge with "please, hold"?The grounds (parkinglot and grass areas) are excessively overgrown, giving this building (and block) an abandoned feel, and the shattered glass on the front door adds to that deserted look.This has been the worst and strangest experience I've had. Very slow, long wait time, 10 minutes of silence before being able to order thru the drive-through and another 10 minute wait before getting to the payment window.I would not recommend. Bad customer service and it certainly isn't "fast food."I hope my icecream isn't melted when I get it...

It was alright. Our order was messed up, they were short staffed and we had to wait a little bit in the drive through. I'm pretty patient and understanding. The staff were very polite and doing their best. Food is what you would expect from dairy queen. Great customer service though.

Sign out front clearly states drive thru open 11am-9pm. When going thru at 7:45 no one answered the drive up speaker so I drove up to the window and said sorry we closed at 7:30pm. This was a Saturday night. Don’t advertise hours you can’t stick too.

Sorry to say that the last 2 times they have screwed up the orders. Tonight my husband got a chili cheese dog that was way overcooked and burnt. The last time nothing was put on cheeseburger. Had to throw meals away. Sad because you can't go back a d wait in line for a long time. I guess we are done.

Drive through only these days. I got a call for something else after ordered, ordered it at window. They kindly had me pull into a spot off to the side to bring the extra order so that traffic behind was taken care of. It was all good! Tip for for that kindness to the kids at the DQ

If there was a no star this place would get that!Counters were dirty. Floors were dirty. Tables you sit at weren't wiped down. All of the toppings were opened with lids scattered. Waited 10 minutes in line for a girl to answer her phone and have to leave. I ordered two $5 dollar boxes. Got what they had on the shelf. It was cold. Asked them to make fresh and their response was it was just put up there. Reciept said gravy but I was never asked what dipping sauce I wanted. Had to ask for BBQ and got an eye roll. Receipt also said I got a drink with it, had to remind them to even get my cups. Asked for togo lids for my blizzards and a drink carrier and once again got an eye roll.When leaving the girl that just made my blizzards walked outside and took a dog into the restaurant!

Good place to go if you want your ice cream handed to you first while you wait 10+ minutes for your food. You think it's open because the open sign is flashing so you pull up and ask, you drive away and a girl is looking at you drive away from the drive through window. Food is okay but service sucks. They can get away with it because it's the only fast food in town. Poor service should never get more than 1 star. I get my reciept back maybe 50% of the time, I don't dare ask my food handlers for more than they're willing to give because they handle my food. I just shut up and accept the service given. I was also given a bbq snack melt with no bbq sauce once haha. I eat fast food everywhere and all the time. This place is the worst.

My last few experiences here have not been good. Mixed up orders, cold food. An now today, I tried to get some food. An I was promptly told they are only making chicken fries and ice cream. This place is getting worse.

In town for a long weekend. Decided to stop in for what is usually fast service and good food at other DQ chains. It was not fast at all. Sadly, they seemed to be understaffed. The single employee working the front looked stressed and she had to juggle taking orders, bagging the food, attending the drive through, and dealing with snide people. The 3 stars is not for her, she was doing all she could do to keep up with what is likely a tough job. The person who I assume was the cook in the back wasn’t wearing any kind of PPE such as gloves or even a hairnet. His indifferent attitude was also deplorable as he never came from the back to help the only other employee in the store; he stood there, doing little more than his sole task. Not that I’d want him prepping my food and the only reason I didn’t order something warm was because of him. The 3 stars are partly for him. Poor management is my main beef here. This could have been prevented had management been more proactive about staffing their DQ on a warm Saturday afternoon. This was wrote while I awaited the 2 blizzards we ordered which I still have yet to see....Patience is a virtue I guess....

Been here multiple times, every time just keeps getting worse.The employees do not have a dress code, they are very dirty and unclean and unorganized. Corporate should be reviewing their stores a little better and start maintaining some expectations and rules in their Cass Lake store. The employees are very rude. They are improperly trained and need to learn how to run a store and be welcoming. They should have a dress code as every other damn store does. Where are their headsets? Maybe they would get more business if they would be professional and learn to actually work rather than screw off and screw up orders.

So this cass lake mn location is the worst DQ in the area . I went there twice this week and got nothing. Monday I went to the drive through no service at the speaker so drove up to the window and still no service so I drove away after a total of 15 min. Today me and some coworkers went to dine in .nobody at the counter and we stood there with not even a we will be with you in a min. 4 people behind counter trying to make sundays. I will never go there again and niether will my coworkers. I highly recommend Walker or bemidji. Worst customer service ever at a fast food joint. Oh and they say customer service is their number one priority. Bs check out the other reviews.

Worst fast food experience of my entire life. Only 2 ppl working at a time. On a weekend!!! It literally would have been faster to go to the Dairy Queen 15 mins away than this one. Not to mention very dirty inside. Won’t be going again. Ever.

It's understaffed, and sometimes when they are overwhelmed with customers they seem like they are cranky and upset. I would give more but service is slow because of staffing and the way some of the employees act. It's the only fast food place in cass lake, so it gets very busy.

Young lady behind the register was nothing but scoffs and rolled eyes the entire time. She tried telling me they were out of Reeses for the blizzards even though the woman working the drive-through contradicted that fact. I ended up skipping my burger because she couldn't figure out how to enter my order into the machine. The only thing they have going for them is that they're the only restaurant/fast food in the area.

Drive-thru, wait unacknowledged up to 2-3 minutes before someone will tell you: "It will be just a minute." Service is slow. I ordered 2 small blizzards and it wasn't until i got home that I realized they weren't even stirred. The Oreos and cookie dough pieces were just sitting on top of the ice cream.

This place holds the record for the longest period of time spend between ordering and receiving your food! It's actually pretty impressive, I'm not even mad. If you come here not hungry you will be by the time you get your food!

Very dirty, floor was horrible, counters and where they made the shakes etc where covered in topping, all the lids where off of those topping so had no protection from the staff whose outfits were dirty, they did not have enough help so a girl who stopped by to pick up her paycheck was asked to help, her clothes looked like she had been digging in the dirt, she did not wash her hands before handling good. Really disgusting the day we stopped.

My family went and found needles on the floor, table and chairs not cleaned for a very longtime. They ordered food and found what appeared to be dirt or some other substance in their ice cream. The restaurant needs a lot of help. This appears to be a clear health code violation with the State of Minnesota. It deserves immediate attention.

Ive put in 3 applications and they never called emailed me anything at all then they wonder why there business is dying also there slow as heck i literally watch them just stand around half the time watch food cook and its not even good 😑 drive thru sucks and they dont even have there diner open its amazing...
