Good little grocery store for your pantry needs. The Chuck Norris sticks were on point. The gem is in the back. Super helpful and skilled butcher. Great cuts of meat at fair prices. Even Picanha steaks—one of my favorites!

Their ground beef is the best. I also like their seasoned porkettas and smoked turkey and hams. Their meatloaf and meat pies are also excellent.

We were staying at Jay Cooke State Park when our dog was spayed by a skunk. Thankfully this local store carried all the ingredients we needed and we didn't have to drive further for a big box store. The store didn't have any rubber gloves, but the deli worker offered up a couple pairs when I shared our story. What a friendly hometown store. Thank you Carlton Meat and Grocery!

I used to live right around the corner from this place. The staff here are very nice people. The groceries can be a bit on the higher side when it comes to price, but that's to be expected, especially with such a smaller business size than their competition. If you get a chance to visit this place, be sure you grab something from them for grilling. Their meat department is AMAZING with product you will have a hard time finding at one of the bigger supermarket chains. Good people and quality product is what you will find here.

This market is a hidden gem. Meat....best bacon you will experience! Order a smoked ham for Easter....I never had such fantastic smoked meats! Ground beef....no filler, fresh, great flavor. They have local items like bakery goods, condiments, eggs, and salads. Just walk around to see what is new. Clean, good people, support local!!!!

We have taken our deer trimmings here for the last two years and I could not recommend any other meat market more highly. Their wieners and polish sausages are the best that I have ever had, their prices are downright cheap, and you can tell by the product that you get back that they take their time and take pride in their job. If you need to take your game trimmings to a place you can trust, take them to Carlton Meat and Grocery I have never been disappointed.

Best meats in town! Don’t go to the other place, this is the place to feed your family and they are very accommodating at the butcher point of action. I travel a distance to get my meat from here!Update- I don’t know what kind of magic they have, but the pork chops are so tender, still. The butcher cut up my steaks the size I wanted them. You can’t find this anywhere else. The butcher is knowledgable also. The other meat carriers are selling a commercial low quality bacon that is sub par in their counters, just to give the butcher experience. Not here. Ask any questions about meats and the butcher gives a detailed description. This IS the best service counter and knowledge I have experienced from 4 meat counters around the area.
