I love this thrift store, but it's 45 minutes from my house. This is the second time I've driven to the store during business hours to find that it is closed. They have a sign in front of the store, but they haven't updated their hours online. I will gladly update my review if they update their hours posted online (the sign says they are closed from 1/4-1/15).

This thrift shop is HUGE! Not only that, it’s also well organized, clean, and just overall a fun shopping experience. Prices are reasonable. Always find something unique at Shalom!

Amazing thrift shop! You can actually find things here, organization is key shopping second hand. Good quality and working items. Shalom even give back to the community. Items are more than fair compared to other thrift shops.

I Love this shop. I donate so much there, even new items I buy because I know they will keep prices low enough so truly poor people can afford things. They do great things with the money the store makes. Only complaint is rising prices. Overall still wonderful place.

We're always stop here when thrift shopping or just driving through town.They have a large variety of items clothing for the whole family sometimes new still with the tags. They have books, clothing, household, toys. There is something for everyone. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced.

This is my favorite thrift shop! They have great prices, friendly people, and there things are always clean. I don’t know if I have ever left without finding something to buy. My main reason I shop and bring my things to them is because the monies stay within the community. Love this shop!

Update: Just before they closed and after they opened back up, the prices of a lot of items have gone up. I used to buy things that I might need or looked cool. Now I find myself spending a lot less money because I pass up a lot of things I don't really need at the moment. I used to make it a point to stop anytime I was in town, now not so much. Also, before the change, if an item had two prices they would give you the lower price. At least twice now they have charged the higher price.Original:One of my favorite thrift stores! I make it a point to try to stop in when I'm in town. Never know what you might find, and I almost always find something I need!

Always a great experience, staff is friendly and helpful as well. Plus I found four name brand summer blouses and a few pieces of glassware. I appreciate how clean they keep everything. Shalome is my favorite thrift store.❤

This is an excellent thrift shop with a particularly well-organized book area. Many non-fiction books are in the fiction area, but an effort has been made. There is a large devotional collection here, if you like that, and it is in it's own area for ease of browsing. There is also always a small but helpful selection of fabric and upholstery scraps. Very little junk here, and things are reasonably priced.

I love the shop, the cashiers are always helpful and friendly. Items are for the most part in good shape and well-priced. I have noticed more clothing items with obvious stains making it to the racks however, and those purple stickers leave a residue (unless on clear glass) which is impossible to get off without leaving a sticky film or causing damage to the finish. I would like to suggest that the stickers, especially on plastic or painted items, be placed on the back or bottom of the item ( or get different stickers) and checking the fabric items under better lighting. Aside from that Shalom Shop is absolutely the best thrift shop by far.

Shalom is a local small town thrift store. Don't go in expecting a big time Goodwill or Arc. This is a wonderful stop where one finds what they don't normally see. Excellent prices, well kept, supports a good cause and the staff of volunteers adds a cheerfulness that is lacking in most thrift stores in general. Bring cash if you can but there is an ATM on the premises. They are now taking cards but that is a somewhat new development. Either way stop and take a peek.

Absolutely love this thrift shop!! We drive up here atleast once a month to hunt for some good buys. The store is very organized and clean and the workers are absolutely amazing and make sure you come here with cash since they do not take debit or credit cards.

I use to LOVE this place! Great prices, great atmosphere. But today I decided to walk out and never return. The place was completely mismanaged and the lines were way too long! Rude people too!

Clothes are organized by colors, not sizes for women. Clothes for kids are not very well organized by size, I'm not going to go through an entire round rack looking for a specific size. I think there should be a spot in the book area for pre teens. I bought nothing, but prices were very cheap.

We were wedding shopping found a set of glass vases we went to the check out and seen that there was one more on the counter that was for donations and offered to buy that one and a brand new donation jar for them and refused to sell it and said we try to accommodate to our customers but that's something she would not do. Not very happy about it because it would have completed ours.
