This bookstore was amazing to walk into! I honestly don't know what I was expecting, but it blew me away to see so many used books in wonderful conditions for a great price. I assumed that it was just all used books thrown on to shelves, but there was a wonderful organization system!

I am such a fan of Scout & Morgan Books; which local artist and long time resident of Cambridge Larry Ostrom says is "a living treasure". I agree with this and also believe that Judith (owner) is a shining light in our community. She is warm, welcoming and thoughtful. She remembers that I like certain journals and has an instinct to know which books I may be drawn to. This lovely shop invites and welcomes me to browse and check out the wide array of books, and one may even wish to grab a coffee or lunch from the City Center Market Cafe right next door and get comfy in front of the cozy fireplace. I love that there are cards for all occasions, gift ideas like candles, socks, puzzles and of course; books; of which they have for all ages. This treasure of a shop has something for everyone and it has new and previously gently owned books as well as activity books for children. Judith is great about connecting with local authors as well and often collaborates with them for book signings and other events. If you are a book lover or want to bless a book lover...come and check out Scout & Morgan; linger, grab a coffee, chat with Judith and buy a book (or three). Books have a way of bringing people in our community together.

A very cozy shop with a great atmosphere! I enjoyed the selection of new and local authors! The owner is always very nice and helpful. There is a café right next store, so you can have a treat while enjoying your new books!

I love this shop. I love being able to get the latest books used and half price. I am also very happy with the customer service. I have had the store owner order books for me a few times and they always come quickly.

It's a nice book store and the ladies are very helpful. The store does buy back books. I bought some brand new books and decided I didn't want them anymore after I finally realized when I got home that I already had some of the same books didn't have receipt. So I only got about a quarter of the amount of money back as store credit. It would of been less if I wanted cash back. Otherwise, it's a unique store.

I always enjoy stopping into Scout & Morgan. I take advantage of their book buybacks and enjoy the selection of new/used books and unique finds or gifts. They are also willing to order any book you like so why would you not support a small business this way! Friendly staff & dog friendly!

Great small bookstore. They have a really great selection. If you like books you will love this atmosphere. If you're looking for a book for someone else do ask for a recommendation, the staff knows a thing or two. Plus there is coffee immediately next door!

I was very disappointed felt the prices were way to high for used books. Found the same books for new on eBay and Amazon. Also sorry to say the clerk was very rude and demeaning. She was very arrogant and not polite. Would not go there again. Noticed that everyone that brought books in to sell were told the books were not good enough for her Clientele even though the books looked new . 🤷‍♀️

This is a terrific local bookstore with a small but carefully selected stock of new books, and a great inventory of used books in a wide variety of categories. Staff are knowledgable and friendly, and can get you anything you want quickly. I live 1300+ miles away, but I visit Scout & Morgan every chance I get.
