We have used Leashes and Leads 3 times now for Rosie's Playcare visits. She absolutely loves playing with the other dogs and its great for us if we don't have time to let Rosie out during lunch time or if we need to get something done during the day. Each time we have sent Rosie to Leashes and Leads, we have requested a report card. The pictures attached are photos sent to us by the staff that work there and this helps give us an idea of how her day is going and to know she is being cared for. We usually get these report cards around 2 pm and they give a lot of detail as to what she has been up to and who she has been making friends with.We have also used Leashes and Leads for Rosie's Nail Trims. This helps us not have to worry about trimming her nails and they offer to "Round the nails off" (I don't know the proper name for it) so that her nails wont puncture leather on our furniture.We love using Leashes and Leads for it helps us out as Puppy parents and it gives Rosie a fun day with her furry friends. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone for they are very professional. They have lots of treats and dog food options as well for your pet. If you're thinking about using Leashes and Leads, defintely stop by for a tour of their place for yourself! They would be happy to show you around for that's what they did for me.Thank you Leashes and Leads for giving Rosie a fun place to visit and thank you for all the report cards on her status! I take my dog here to the dog park twice or more a week. It is a very nice dog park, clean and they do good maintenance on it since you pay for it. We also groom our dog here and leave him for the occasional daycare, and he loves it. The only reason I do not give five stars is because the store itself is very expensive. For a regular toy you could get on Amazon for $5, you will pay $15 or more here.

I brought my almost 6 month old Boxer pup for a day of play care and would 100% bring her back. From the moment I dropped her off I felt at ease. She had SOOO much fun meeting new friends and I absolutely loved the amount of socializing she got with other dogs. She was exhausted when I picked her up! Also, the report card they sent out mid day was a huge bonus. I loved reading how she was doing and seeing pictures and watching videos of her with her new friends.

Super nice staff and great service. They were patient with my hyper and nervous dogs. Affordable prices but amazing grooming. They did both dogs I brought in in under 3 hours. Definitely will come back, thank you! Especially Emily who was super helpful and friendly.

I’ve been using Leashes & Leads for grooming, doggy playcare, boarding & my pet’s treats and toys for over 5 years! My dog Bentley and my grandpup Nino love their days full of activity! Bentley’s grooming is always top notch and the staff in all aspects of this business are friendly and helpful, and above all else- they love the animals! They have great, active social media accounts so we can see pictures of our pets during the day! The outdoor dog park is an added bonus and during the warm months in MN, the pond is appreciated for our daily swims! Thank you to the wonderful staff at Leashes & Leads- my guys and I appreciate you! 💙🐶 🎾🐾

Have had a great experience at leashes and leads. We utilize their playcare and love it. We know our dog is getting great care and attention. The biggest plus is the pictures and videos of our dog we get to see on Snapchat. They also allow customers to add on services such as grooming, holiday pictures, etc.in terms of boarding, we have never boarded our dog here but have heard nothing but good things from friends who have.

Started off great with grooming our Newfie and taken him there for almost two years. It slowly became more inconsistent and worse. The last grooming, upon arrival the groomer was noticeably unpleasant. Upon pick up I couldn’t believe my eyes seeing the random/uneven shaving she had done. It was down to his skin in some places. The cut was also choppy and uneven. I couldn’t even talk to her I was so upset. When I called the manager I was directed to voice mail. He did finally call back and requested I email pictures for him to determine if it was unacceptable. He mentioned they’ve had “issues” and may be setting up protocols/procedures for improving communication. I requested a refund and emailed pictures. This was over two months ago. I have called and left messages and received no reply. Really disappointed. I do not recommend and will never go back.

I cannot express enough how much we love bringing our pug, Gus, to Leashes & Leads!From the moment we walk in, the friendly staff greet us. The store itself is a pet paradise. The facilities are fantastic with on site boarding, doggy daycare, grooming, training & space for Gus to play.Leashes & Leads also has their retail store which is always well-organized, clean and stocked with an incredible variety of high-quality pet products. Whether we need food, toys, or accessories, they have it all; the knowledgeable staff is always there to provide guidance and recommendations.The store also hosts fun events and activities for pets, fostering a sense of community among pet owners. It's a place where we can connect with other pet enthusiasts, share stories & socialize our dogs (and ourselves!).Leashes & Leads this pet is a true gem. It's not just a place to shop; it's an experience that my pug & I look forward to. The warm & caring staff, the vast selection of pet products, the full-service accommodations that consider each pets' needs & the overall welcoming atmosphere make it a haven for pet lovers. My pug gives it a resounding four paws up!

The staff and facilities are the best in the area. The staff know their products and services, treat everyone well, and offer informed advice. My wife and I took our dog through a few reactive behavior classes and had a good experience with the trainer. We also use the outdoor dog park. It's clean and full of activities, including a pond and a washing station. This is the only dog park on the west side of Rochester and I wish we had found it sooner. There is an annual fee, but it's worth it.

I recently moved to Rochester from upstate NY. The grooming my Samoyed received was better than any she previously had, and at a fraction of the price. Plus, she seemed super happy and not stressed at all when done! The staff were ridiculously friendly, and they allowed me to run my other dog around the grounds. Definitely will return for more grooming sessions. I cannot be certain, but I think the groomer's name was Emily.

They took good care of our nervous little girl and helped her adjust to being away from home and around other dogs. The report cards you get are great as well! She was pretty tuckered out when she got home!

It's not often I'm comfortable leaving my two girls anywhere, but they were happy and I feel they enjoyed doggie daycare for the four days they were at Leashes & Leads. Never once did they balk at going back, or walking away from me with the staff. And something that made me happy was they never come back to me stinking of kennel. I also thought the staff was amazing, interested, and kind.

We have used L&Ls for puppy training, grooming, the dog park and the store. We have not used their daycare or boarding. There were lots of dogs out at the park today playing in the pond which was fun for our puppy. They also have a large area with agility obstacles. We have had a couple issues with grooming our smaller, more anxious dog but overall L&Ls is a nice asset for all your doggy needs.

Update: Leashes and Leads reached out post-review and refunded about $250 of the boarding fee, which I appreciate.---So let me preface this by saying that I have high regard for the equine park here (both me and my kiddo have taken riding lessons there), and I love the attached vet (Meadow View), but I've had nothing but bad experiences with the pet boarding/kennel part of the Leashes and Leads business. I dropped my two dogs and one cat off there for a five-day out-of-state trip and when I arrived, the worker who took them appeared completely disinterested and displayed no affection for my pets, and I could hear another female worker in the kennels yelling at and cursing at the dogs. Unfortunately we had to leave the state in a few hours and there was no time to find another boarding solution, or I would've, because this gave me loads of bad vibes. When I returned to retrieve them, I once again heard a worker shouting and cursing at the dogs in the back, and after I got them home it turned out one of my dogs had contracted giardia (an intestinal parasite) AND conjunctivitis (pink eye) when she was there, and the other, a senior dog, now has kennel cough. So far the giardia has cost around $700 in vet fees and my poor pup has had the worst week trying to recover from it. Now, I know that it's always a risk for critters to contract stuff anywhere they're boarded, but for them to contract three separate sicknesses between the two of them, and most especially the fact that none of the workers seemed to be treating them well--that's just not okay in my view. Added to this, the fees for boarding were more than I was originally quoted--nearly $800 for 5 nights, with the two dogs sharing a kennel and the cat in a separate area. (Note: the cat came home fine and seems to have had an okay experience there.) I definitely will not board here again and can't recommend it to anyone else.

We initially enjoyed Leashes and Leads, but we started having issues with them billing us when they weren’t supposed to. Their billing cycle is every Saturday, but we were billed on Wednesday and Saturday. The manager said their software miraculously malfunctioned, so we didn’t receive an email receipt on both Wednesdays we were billed. Thankfully, we happened to look at our bank statements and noticed the extra charge; otherwise, we’re not sure they would have actually refunded us. It’s funny how the software sent receipts on the correct billing dates, though. Unfortunately, we lost trust and felt it was very shady. We’re just disappointed because our dogs have to suffer the consequences of not attending play care anymore. Our boys REALLY looked forward to Wednesdays! On a positive note, they have beautiful outdoor parks, a filtered swimming pond, and a nice indoor park for cold and wet days! They also hosted Bark in the Park at a Honker’s game, and we had a blast! I recommend Leashes and Leads, but I also recommend you keep an eye on your bank account.

Leashes was our first experience with a week long stay. Makar enjoyed it thoroughly!! She was a happy girl while we were at the lake. The report cards were awesome!! Nothing but great vibes from drop off to pick up a week later. Thanks Leashes and Leads staff, you are great!!🐕🐾❤

We have had our puppy at L&L K9 puppy and now the K9 play, shortly going into the off leash program. We have been nothing but impressed withe the loving care and thoughtful training he has received along with the safe play with the pack of dogs they supervise so well. The trainers have been so available for questions and concerns all for the same goal, a happy well mannered dog. We will be using the boarding service when we travel as well since he will know and be able to play, mi gle, train with people and dogs he's been with for awhile now. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants top notch care and/or training for their pups! AND I guarantee our Sully would say the same if he could type :)

Love leashes and leads! Our dog Kika has boarded here multiple times and she loves her time there! We love the additional perks you can add on, from excursions, to peanut butter lick mats. The staff are always friendly and kind. The option for early drop off is always nice as well. We will continue to board our dog there no hesitation!

Leashes and Leads is a great place for families that love spoiling their pets. Even if membership to the dog park and their other levels isn't in the budget they still host super fun puppy events that are free to the public. I recommend this place for anyone looking for someplace to go with their dog even if it's just to browse their nice store.

We took our little Morkie there for grooming. I got him a goofy haircut as a joke for my wife and they did an excellent job. He came out looking like an extremely buff lion. It only took a couple hours and he looks amazing. Both of my dogs love getting groomed here and they do fantastic work with them.

From what I can tell my dog was well taken care of at the facility. However I was extremely disappointed with the front desk staff—seemed to have a major attitude when I had a few questions about various fees (beware, there are a lot) added onto my bill for boarding. What I anticipated being around $300 ended up being almost $500 after all of these unexpected fees. One of the staff kept her AirPods in the entire time and was very curt when I inquired where these fees came from.

Leashes And Leads is the tops! My dog Mr. bean and I like to go to the park to play and we have a great time doing it with no concerns or issues. Staff is friendly and there are those times that they know and understand my dog better than I do. Their grooming service makes my dog look so darn nice and their playcare for Bean is amazing and I can see pictures of him while he is there. So if you haven’t tried Leashes And Leads, I would encourage you to do so.

Good points are tons of services, seems like a very well-run kennel, and we believe our dog was very well cared for during her five day stay. Wish it were better on communication. We brought our 1 ½ yr old dog who had never been boarded before. We signed her up for hikes, but heard nothing about how she did (was she okay with strangers walking her for instance). A check-list type report card was done that characterized her as shy and reserved, which sounded right, she is friendly but needs a few minutes to be comfortable with new people. We don't know how she did at play time with other dogs. Just would have liked a few more comments. At her age, she's still in training, and she's still maturing, so it helps us to know if there are issues we need to work on. But she was fine and we like the facility very much, like all the services and time out of the kennels for the dogs.

Our little dog Piper had never been boarded before. She's 2 1/2 years old. The staff tookcare to hold and cuddle her as they could tell that she was a bit worried. We liked that each dog had their own private room. We will definitely use their services again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ !!!

My dog spent the weekend at leashes and leads for the first time and I will never bring him anywhere else! Leashes and Leads provides the best services that makes my dog not hate being away from me, which he always does! They have awesome add ons if you want to spoil your pet a bit too! Staff is amazing with my dog, and it's very easy to manage appointments through their website!
