Probably one of the best locations around! I wasn’t sure how to use the digital coupons and the manager Malik took the time to help and download them and taught me more about the app! Really appreciate when people put in that effort to show they care. Great store and great staff!!

i live in kasson and i only go to the byron dollar general.. better selection and customer service.. the young man there has been so nice to me over last month helped me a lot there.. very glad there hiring new people

The one employee was stocking and was quite agitated to come to register. This place is so poorly run and the prices are outrageous. Do yourself a favor and go to Walmart.

If you have any disabled children beware for the older lady with long white hair she dont like disabled kids and makes rude snooty comments or just fully takes advantage of it like making fun of my disabled daughter for riding a scooter, making her sign her debit card with marker after refusing service instead of just looking at her ID to make sure it was her card. And other rude comments to her acting like shes better then us. Yet I have never had anyone ask me for my id while using my debit card. She also was rude today as I brought my kids in to shop and 1 kid I have has a trach and she was very rude and disrespectful. I feel she dont like kids or disabled kids. Idk how she's still there. The place is always so dark needs new lighting, always dirty & boxes everywhere while no employees r actually putting anything away or cleaning they r usually sitting in back most the time we r there. If u r desperate go in there but I'd take the time to leave town to shop after multiple rude service by that old grumpy lady that obviously needs to get another job not in customer service. 🙄

Honestly the worst Dollar General I have ever been to. When I was looking at lighters the manager instantly snapped at me saying “You need to be 18.” I said “Yes, I know” as I AM OF AGE. Then as I asked if she knew if they had a product in store, she turned away from me saying “Nope. Nope.” and refused to listen or help me. In no way was I disrespectful and she was rude the entire time. Then at checkout, the cashier lied saying I needed to be older than 30 to purchase a lighter. I said “That’s not true, here’s my ID. She told me it was 18.” She never checked my ID and proceeded to check me out. It was disrespectful and showed a lack of professionalism.

The aisles at the Byron, MN store seem pretty narrow, I couldn't carry an infant car seat down the aisle, I had to remove my son from his car seat and put him in a small cart and toss the seat vertically in to the shopping cart so we could maneuver around the store.They have lots of cute seasonal decor items. The best part of stopping at the Byron store was it saved me a trip to a bigger store with longer lines to get some monthly lady products.

The store is always clean and well stocked. It’s a great alternative to driving all the way into Rochester for last minute items. My wife and I shop there at least once a week.

The staff is nice and friendly but as I was shopping today I always check the expiration date no matter where I am or what I’m buying and I noticed a lot of the chips and pops in the cooler we’re expired. I picked up a coke in the cooler and it said aug 2020. I tried to tell them but didn’t go well. I had to double check many many items before I could find one not expired. They definitely need to go through all the food/snacks!!

Neater and nicer than the Kasson location but the cashier was in a very bad mood. I don't know why dollar generals attract the odd members of our society but when I attempted to enter the cleaning isle, there was a woman crawling on her hands and knees looking at products and didn't budge even when asked very nicely, so I had to walk over her... many options though.

Staff was very helpful! Had trouble finding the aluminum foil, but the cashier was very gentlemanly and came to my aid! Turned out they were out of the "non-stick" Reynold's wrap!

Amazing how much stuff they have. Not usually a fan of Dollar Generals because they are usually so cluttered and messy but this one is very well kept and inviting. The gentleman working was very kind and friendly! Nice store to have in Byron!

I had originally gone to Byron to get some stuff from Fairway Foods but found it closed on Sundays. So I bought from Dollar General instead and had a pleasant chat with the cashier before leaving.

Always closed early or just closed. Where is the gm? Regional gm? This is pathetic and its been going on since December. The gm should be there working every hour they are supposed to be open when there's no other employees to work. Thats their job. I go in this place all the time. Very very rare to ever see the lady they call a gm.

Walked in tall dude with a ponytail yelled at me for not having a mask and refused to let me shop. I have a medical condition and cannot restrict my breathing. Will not be back. He was extremely rude.

Went to go pick something up this morning at 9:45. Website and door say the store opens at 8. Doors were locked and there was a note left by the frito lay rep saying tried to deliver at 8:45 but stores not open?
