I have had wonderful experience both as a seller and a buyer here The saddle trial period is great. Not many places will let you do that. I love the ease of being able to sell a higher end saddle without the stress of the tire kickers and no show customers. Mahlon is very knowledgeable and helpful with putting together outfits for showing too. Her inventory has lots of nice things many higher end and gently used items.

I don't know any other store that will allow a trial on used saddles. I have tried a handful, and purchased 2 from Windward Farm. I have also found kids boots, a felt saddle pad, a used lasso, and other items here for a fraction of the cost of a larger store. Mahlon has a huge variety of items at great prices in one location. She has always been friendly and accommodating to us.

Great place to shop for all your equine needs. My daughter switched disciplines from English pleasure to barrel racing. Huge difference! Not only did we pick up great quality items from Windward Farm but they took in our English pleasure items and sold them for us. Saved me a ton of time selling my own items online! Windward Farm Tack and Consignment is an amazing store! As an equestrian I can tell you new tack prices are too rich for my taste and consignment and used is where it's at! The owner has a HUGE assortment of gently loved riding clothing, tack (English and Western), boots and blankets (and about a million other things you didn't know you needed until you saw it...and subsequently had to have it)! The store is clean and takes shopper health and safety as a serious priority! I have been hesitant to shop at other stores during the current global pandemic, but shopping at Windward Farm has been safe and easy! Making an appointment ensures you'll be the only shopper in the store which really makes me feel safe! Thank you Windward Farm for supporting my horse tack addiction and allowing me to save money in the process!

I've known Mahlon for almost 40 years. First, I boarded a couple horses at her farm. She took amazing care of my little herd, and I looked forward to every visit. When she opened her consignment shop, I sold several items with her help. Chaps, hats, halters. She knew the market, priced things well, and I was happily surprised each time those checks came in the mail. Although I haven't been in the horse world for a while, I'm continually impressed with Mahlon's contributions to the industry and the Pinto breed. If you're looking for anything for your horse - I'd shop here first!!
