The pharmacy apparently employs people who feel it's alright to hang up on a customer and refuse to check the only medical number that has been provided. For the record... I did call back... immediately... and talked to a person who did put that number in and low and behold, it worked!Train your employees to listen to a person, and not hang up on them!WOW just read some other reviews of Walgreens Buffalo, and am following up this complaint with a official complaint with the MN Board of Pharmacy.

After reading other reviews I can sympathize with the frustrations with the pharmacy about a year ago when they were extremely short staffed. Since then my experience has been pleasant customer service and prescriptions filled when stated.

Im done with the pharmacy sadlyThe young male pharmacist seems to take pleasure in delaying my refill as he is the only pharmacist that hastels me about getting it filled even outright lies about when it's due arguing with the date on the bottle. I used to defend the staff but no more. I'd switch.He seems like an angry little man who takes his misery out on others. Fill your prescription there at your own risk.

when they give you the time ur meds will be ready for pick-up, be ready for them to change it 3 times each time u inquire about the refill. somehow 2pm is actually 5pm. would be really helpful if u could pick ur medicine up when ur told u can. instead of having to come back 3 times in a day. terrible experience.

The female pharmacist there is extremely rude, with a sharp tongue and no time. I get its busy, we are all busy. Be nice, take an extra minute and things can et done more efficiently without multiple calls backs.

photo service was NON existent. put 2 orders in, one 3 hours before showing up to pick up and another in-store, and their 'system' couldnt find the orders. EVEN WITH THE EMAIL WALGREENS PROVIDED with the order numbers. when we finally got a "manager" to help, she just said snotty "why dont you just plug your phone in and print them from there?"the reason why is there are thousands of photos on the phone, and there is NO way to use their software to filter through my photos to find the 8 i was trying to print. THATS WHY I USED THE ONLINE PHOTO SERVICE.looking at the google reviews, seems the service is about par for the course.

I came to pick up a mental health medication I thought had been refilled. Instead of politely telling me they didn't have it yet, the woman began saying how it was MY fault it wasn't refilled yet and I needed to facilitate the refill with my doctor. She was about to send me on my way without my meds, which i was completely out of, and as a pharmacist she should know you can't just stop that type of med cold turkey like that. I told her 3 times I had none left before even attempting to help me. She then said she'd do a "once and only once" emergency refill of 3 pills and had me wait. It took over 45 minutes for them to refill it and she laughed, saying she "forgot about me." It was extremely unprofessional and if I had any other choice of pharmacy I'd switch after this experience.

I have definitely been disappointed today by the pharmacy that I have defended time and again even bought them pizza a time or 2 to show them how much I appreciate all the work they do on a short staff.Today they hung up on my doctor who was trying to help sort out an issue as I recently had a kidney removed.I don't know how or why they hung up but I'm very disappointed to say the least.I'd like to think it was an accident .

At the Buffalo, Mn store, Pharmacy Operations manager Amanda was rude, completely and unprofessional. I find if offensive that she referred to my medication and medical condition as "STUPID" and this is from someone who is supposedly a manager.I strongly recommend using a different pharmacy, especially since their managers call their customers as stupid. How someone who treats customers so poorly becomes manager ???And I was also told by Amanda that my insurance required me to switch to a generic medication. This was not true, I call my insurance and they said that I could get the name brand as I had for the past 3 years. Now Name brand vs. generic is not a big deal but it brings up the question why was I told this, was it because someone didn't know how to use the computer correctly or is it her way of retaliation after I commented about her attitude toward me. Just asking ???

This store makes up stores!I called to get a prescription filled at 2:30pm and wait to talk to a pharmacist. Explain I would like the same manufacture of the drug. The lady says no problem we have that here. I ask to make sure it is the same manufacture again, lady gets short and says we will have it ready in 1/2 hour. I ask if can I pick it after 5:00? Again it will be ready in 1/2 hour. I work at a desk and have my phone right there. Drive 45 minutes out of my way to to pick up. The first person says they can not fill the prescription. What? I told them about earlier. Then he says we called you and let you know. What? Show him my call log and says we called once. Again I repeated that a very specific person said 1/2 after I called it would be filled. He goes and gets said person. She says they called 3 times! What? Very clear from me in the first conversation. Nothing but made up stories from the pharmacist. Now they have to order the drug in as they have never had that one.I had issues here before and gave them a chance again and again, this store will never get my business again.I can drive 45 minutes another direction!

I have 3 prescriptions for our dog through Walgreens. These are long term meds she will be on and takes the same amount of daily. No exaggeration, the last 7 months they have gotten the prescriptions wrong especially the one she takes 1 pill a day of. Somehow, this pharmacy can't figure out that if you fill a prescription of 30 pills to be taken one a day that in 30 days you'll need to refill. I called and they had waited until the day the prescription was out to issue a request for refill from the vet. Then to solve this they ask me to come in store to fill an emergency supply of 3 pills to get by. This took 45 minutes even though I called ahead the day before and talked to them about it and the day of. I tried looking the prescriptions up online to address and couldn't sign up because they had entered her birthday wrong from the vet paperwork so when asked to verify that I was getting it kicked back and couldn't figure out why, I had to call them for that.I have consistently run out of the one prescription with issues getting it filled month after month. Then I'll get double of the other prescription. At one point I was out of one prescription and couldn't get it filled for 5 days while I had 500+ pills of another that got filled too much. When these issues come up I have to be the go between for the vet and Walgreens because they apparently aren't willing to do it. Walgreens claims they send refill requests but don't get responses. I've called the vet and had them send me the fax confirmations from the refill requests they responded too. When I call Walgreens they say they never received it. Even if they didn't receive it, which I doubt, they never follow up.I've talked to the pharmacist several times over these issues and have been assured it will be fixed, it hasn't been. The pharmacist is at least pleasant while trying to address these issues the rest of the staff has had incredibly bad attitudes and set new standards for how unhelpful they are. I can only guess they have some kind of pool going for who can provide the worst service because being that bad would take effort.The only reason I have tried to stick it out is because it would save me over $100 a month on the prescriptions but, it honestly isn't worth it anymore. I will drive to another town and pay the extra $100 a month than have to deal with this pharmacy anymore.Their job is to fill prescriptions and they get it wrong constantly and don't seem to care. If you have prescriptions please look elsewhere.

The employees were extremely rude. I was waiting at the front to checkout but all registers were closed. A group of workers were standing by the photo center talking trash about other shoppers. They wouldn't help me check out even though I only have one item. After 5 minutes of standing in line they finally decided to help me. While checking out the workers continued to talk badly about other people. Then after done checking out I was waiting for a friend to check out. I accidentally dropped an item and immediately picked up. My friend then finished checking out and then told me the employees proceeded to badmouth me because I was annoying for dropping an item and and picking it up. It makes no sense. If I could I would have chosen 0 stars.

Made an appointment for a covid test, arrived on time, told "paperwork was not ready and to come back in 15 min", upon returning, 5 cars in line and not one had moved after 20min. We left and will never use Walgreens for anything again. Honor your appointment times!!!!!

Printing services are horrible. Says documents are ready in 30 minutes, and never are because the machine for document printing is never turned on. Always have to go in and it takes 20+ mins. They don’t know how to trouble shoot and just say “I don’t know” and walk away from you. Just horrible service all around in the photo/printing area.

I'm aware of staffing issues but waiting on the phone for ½ hour and then being hung up on is bad. Go to the store and wait in line for way to long. Medications that suppose to be filled sit in progress. If I didn't need to be able to get my prescriptions in Texas I would definitely switch store. Thay need to improve bottom line.

Had my insurance card and have used them before but for some reason could not fill because they needed to call my Dr. What the heck I have been getting this same prescription for years.I also talked my husband into going there but was treated terrible. He will never go there again.

Terribly place. Pharmacy sucks. Meds are never ready and filled by the time they say they will be. Wait over 40 minuets each time for meds to be filled. Other pharmacy couldn’t even get ahold of them to switch places, then Walgreens sent all my stuff to the wrong pharmacy. They are so so slow. Don’t ever use Walgreens.

I’m so happy with the service here! I had to post about it lolThey are patient as far as picking up prescriptions (if you’re going to be a few days late, they will check in with you and continue to hold it) and they are super fast at filling orders for items from the store (mine was ready in 7 minutes!!)! if you have to take a Covid test, get it from a Walgreens. Buffalo doesn’t offer Covid tests as far as I know, but other locations in the metro do. Both rapid tests I had came back in less than two hours, shorter than the wait time at any other drive thru place I’ve heard of. Very impressed!!

This place sucks! It is incredibly slow whether checking out, picking up prescriptions at the counter or drive up. You can never get through via phone. The phone system is so annoying, so many repeat comments and redos. I was just disconnected twice after holding to change a COVID vaccine appt. Fed up! I am moving my business elsewhere!

I made 3 separate trips to pickup 1 prescription, over an hour of waiting in line cumulatively. After the second trip they told me it would be 25 min, Came back the next day and it is still not ready.

Decent prices on meds, and the pharmacy staff is friendly. The rest of the staff, less so. i came through today to file and then pick up a scrip, and on the return trip the guy tending the front register insisted i drop my messenger bag; annoying, but okay. i ask why, he mutters something about store policy. i think "fine, whatever, he just works here, doesn't have a choice." i went to finish up with the pharmacy and made a mental note to call and say that policy sucks. Later, i did so and talked to the GM, Rob; he made a point of talking about backpacks and security risks he's had with schoolchildren and stop loss and other corporate gibberish. i told him it's disrespectful to treat grown adults like teenagers, and this supposed leader outright laughed at me.yeah, okay, decide on whatever policy you want or which corporate hands down, but at least pretend to care about respect. Cub might be inefficient, Wal-Mart might be evil, but at least they have basic respect enough for their customers to not default to insulting them; apparently i need to factor in basic respect more than a few bucks of price difference. Sad but true!

Waited 25 minutes for a prescription in the drive up. Waited 10 mins. dropped my passenger off, came back and the same car was still waiting. Then it took the girl 10 minutes to figure out how to ring up the prescription. Cannot believe how slow they are.

Would get 5 stars, but lately they have taken at least a day to get prescriptions filled. I switched to this pharmacy because the one I used to use took a day or two to fill prescriptions, and now I'm getting the same issue here :(. The service here is good otherwise.

The slowest pharmacy ever! Waited in the drive through for 15 min, to pick up a prescription that was called over 30 min prior. I was told it would be 20 more minutes.

I went to the Walgreens in Buffalo, Mn looking for cough and sore throat products. I walked out with nothing. I couldn't believe the prices. Almost double from what other stores charge. I kept looking at all the medicines and my mouth just kept dropping and dropping. I will not go back to any Walgreens.

Waited in line for 15 mins and so did the poor old lady in front of me while rep at cash register was taking a call for 15 mins which caused my cab to be 10 bucks more. They were fully staffed. Pathetic service
