I got my hedgehog here 2 years ago. They were very kind and helped me understand how to take care of a hedgehog properly. They breed good hedgehogs! The one I bought was very friendly and cute!

Kristal is a pleasure to chat with, and extremely knowledgeable on everything hedgehogs. She has a wonderful little shop connected to her home, and really wants the best for each and every animal she has. I especially respect that she asks for photos and dimensions of your set up, and even offers set up packages herself if you’re unsure of everything you’ll need. Unfortunately many small animals are looked at as not needing much space, but that’s simply not true. Instead of only caring about the transaction (money) she truly cares about the hedgehogs future & care. This made her stand out to me, and I’ll continue to recommend Otsego Hedgehogs. We love our little peanut, Bowser. He’s the perfect addition to our family. Thank you so much, Kristal! 💚🦔

I brought a hedgehog and habitat from Otsego Hedgehogs last year and my little friend is thriving! They offer boarding for $5 per day and sell food that keeps him happy and healthy. Highly recommend if you're looking at adding a cute Hedgie to your family!

I adopted a hedgehog from here and she only lived to four years after developing arthritis in her spine. I tried reaching out to the owner back then to ask some questions but she never responded back to me. My daughter adopted a hedgehog from here and she is now four years old and developing wobbly hedgehog syndrome. The average life expectancy of an African pigmy hedgehog in captivity is 5-10 years and neither one of our sweet babies are going to even make it to 5 years. Very disappointed.

This breeder is very knowledgeable and has great information posted on her site. The kennels sold with the pets are a good starter but don't plan on them for long term. She also has a good amount of helpful additional items for sale and a private food blend, which is very useful and makes life easier for owners.

Kristal was fun and easy to work with, and was very helpful. It is obvious that they care deeply about the hedgehogs they raise. They carry a large supply of hedgehog supplies and hedgehogs. Would (and will) buy from them again!
